Name: Marcella Riddle Relation : Voldemort's Daughter Occupation: Hogwarts Student, Slytherin 6th year Status: Single, one special friend, supposed orphan Age: 16 Height : 5'4' Eyes: Emerald Hair: Deathly Black and straight Friends: Harry and Luna Enemies: Ron, Hermione, Lavender, McGonagall, Peeves, Lupin, Mad-Eye, Mrs Weasley, Bill, Percy, Fudge, etc... Origin: Born in West wales, fled to Denmark and then was brought to Britain. Talents: Dark Arts (can perform any curse at will) is a metamorphamagi. Best Subjects: DADA, transfiguration and Charms. Worst: Potions and Flying. Old School: Durmstrang, Hogwarts Bio: Born of Velicia Evans, Riddle had no idea of having conceived a child. She fled to Denmark to escape him, but he caught up with her, shortly after giving birth to me and was brutally murdered. I was brought up in an orphanage then immediately sent to Durmstrang. He now knows of my existence and is currently searching for me. Dumbledore (my Godfather) brought me here and innitiated me into the Order of the Phoenix to try and conteract my fathers attempts to take me under his wing, as his heir, the next true heir to salazar slytherin. This is an rpg, of the time prior to Marcella arriving at Hogwarts. She is no longer in Durmstrang but is currently in hiding, in Norway, with Snape. There are three other characters up for grabs, however Snape is already taken. The info for my character is above. These are the characters needed; Darrin - Her Teenage Sweetheart. Kind & caring. Brown hair, blue eyes, medium build. Being played by Jermaine. Cossette - Sometimes lets her mind over rule her heart. Smart young girl, small and had blonde curly hair.Fang01 will be playing this part. Alyssa - Red-haired fiery character. Loud mouth, doesn't shut up and can sometimes seem arrogant although deep down she's caring. Cassirin will be playing this role. All of these are 16. The story is pretty loose and free for creativity. The only main things are that she is living in a secret house with Snape and he has allowed her 3 friends to spend some time with them, but eventually they have to leave a week before she is due back at Hogwarts, as he needs to train her in the art of occlumency. I recommend people read the first chapter of my FanFic 'Love Will Conquer All' to get a feel for the 3 characters: Darrin, Alyssa and Cossette. |
Thanks, Emma, for letting me reprise my role as Professor Severus Snape |

ooc- I, Marcella, will be posting in bolded black. Taking one last and final glance at the school that had been her home for five years, she sighed deeply and climbed into the carriage that was awaiting her. Spying the darkly dressed man, sat opposite her, she skirted his eyesight, feeling something incredibly suspicious about him. Shoving her suitcase under the seat, she stared long and hard out of the window, thoroughly miserable. An orphan, torn from her mother at barely a year old. Passed onto an orphanage, forced to survive through torments and taunts. Then shoved to Durmstrang to study, although there had seemed hardly anything the teachers there could actually teach her. Drumming her nails on the windowsill, she groaned miserably, as she felt the carriages being pulled away. |
Snape resented the fact that he was forced to care for a girl he didn't know instead of caring for his own daughter. But, worse than that, he thought the Headmaster was making a terrible mistake in bringing the Dark Lord's heir to Hogwarts. She would be just as vulnerable at Hogwarts as she would be here, perhaps even more so. He watched the girl looking out the window and then glanced around at the other inhabitants of the carriage. This was ridiculous. Snape had reluctantly agreed to care for Marcella for the rest of the summer, but he hadn't bargained on having three other students, as well. |
Seeing the sour look upon his face, she started tapping at the window, frustrated. No-one said he had to like taking care of her, but looking that disdainful made her feel unworthy to be the mud on his shoe. Sighing, once again, she wrapped her cloak around her tighter, trying to prevent her teeth from chattering. It was intensely cold outside and the rain lashed against the windows, hard. It was so hard, being in this position. Being torn from the only ones who you ever loved and being propelled into the arms of the people who feel nothing for you but hate. |
Snape sincerely hoped the girl wouldn't be tapping on the window for the entire ride. She finally stopped and wrapped her cloak around herself. Is it cold in here? he thought and then glanced around at the other shivering bodies. He was used to the cold dank dungeons at Hogwarts so the cold didn't affect him as much as it did these students who were obviously coddled with large fireplaces and the like at Durmstrang. Still sneering, as usual, Snape took out his wand and have it a wave. A large jar appeared with a blue flame in it's center. It gave off a weird light, but it heated up the carriage a little bit. |
Grateful for the heat, she placed a somewhat forced smile on her face, in gratitude of his twisted kindness and removed her robe. Folding it in her arms, she pulled her skirt a little and contiued tapping on the window frame, partly down to her nerves, it continued incessantly. |
Alyssa frowned darkly at the horrible man who was taking them away. For one of the few times in her life, she bit her tongue, wanting so much to give him a piece of her mind. She shivered a bit, wanting not to be so grateful to the man when he lit a small blue fire for warmth. Sitting across from her was Marcella, absent-mindedly tapping away at the window with her fingernail. Alyssa gauged Marcella's mood by her face... bad. She sunk into herself and ignored her urge to say something... to say ANYTHING. |
She caught sight of the rarely tight mouthed Alyssa and smiled a little wider. It was obvious, from the strained look on her face, that she was dying to have an outburst but was refraining herself. Knowing it was for the best, she kept quiet, knowing that at any moment, Snape would have the right and power to dismiss her friends thereby forcing her to spend the summer alone. With him. Grimacing at the ugly thought, she frowned slightly and leant her head against the side of the carriage, lingering on the miserable thoughts of a lonely summer with the man who never smiled. |
Enough was enough; he couldn't take that infernal tapping any longer. "Would you mind not tapping on the window?" Snape sneered. He hoped she would just do as he asked and not talk back to him. But, knowing teenaged girls, he was just asking for a tantrum. |
Looking up, only briefly, she shot him a look that transpired that of death and ceased the tapping, fear being instilled into her heart at the mere look upon his face. Cursing him, under her breath, she called him every bad name under the sun, whilst concealing the small tears that were trickling down her pale cheeks, having escaped her sorrowful eyelids. Flashing him one last look, she made sure he saw the water clinging to her lashes, threatening to drop. |
Alyssa watched the interchange and saw Marcella's barely concealed tears. No one made her friend cry! Alyssa glared at the man sitting next to her on the seat, her face set in angry lines. She knew that she couldn't yell at him or fight with him. He had this amazing power over the three friends to send any or all of them away from Marcella. But she could certainly glare. |
Snape was unaffected by Marcella's tears and the other girl's glare. He had had a lot of practice at dealing with emotional people as a student and a teacher. He gazed out of the window and saw them drawing near to their destination. "We are almost there. I suggest you get your robes back on," Snape said; his voice devoid of any emotion. |
Ignoring the man's statement, she sat still, not moving, if anything leaning more forcedly against the side of the carriage. Her tears had now cascaded down her face, trailing lines of black behind them. Glaring at him, she swore, with her lips moving but not sound emerging. |
"I would appreciate a little more respect from you, Marcella. I've come out of my way to fetch you and I'll not tollerate disobedience," Snape sneered. He took out his wand and the fire disappeared. He glared at each of the other students in turn, letting them know that he expected nothing less from them, either. |
"Sorry, Colonel, didn't know it was an order. You suggested we put them on, you didn't tell us too..." she muttered, reluctantly pulling on her cloak, not because he had told her to, but because it was actually cold outside. Scowling at him, she picked up her suitcase and threw her hood over her head, taking care to conceal her face. |
Alyssa slid her own cloak on, casting a glance at Cossette and Darrin's tight faces. Without the fire, it was very chilly all of a sudden, but she wished she could do without the cloak in order to show her anger more like Marcella. Marcella, however, would not be thrown out. |
Snape ignored her little tantrum, although it pained him to do so. The carriage stopped and he stepped outside first, scanning the area with his wand out. When he felt everything was in order, he gestured the Durmstrang students out of the carriage. The cold rain poured down over them and drenched Snape's unprotected head, causing his greasy black hair to stick to his pale, narrow face. |
ooc- Lovin' the Snape imagery there *drools* Oh all the things you could with a wet Snape... :whisle: Desparately trying to prevent getting soaked, she held her suitcase above her head, grumbling as they walked up the path toward the cottage ahead of them. Rain water trickled down her face, drenched her hair and collected at the cuffs of her shirt and skirt. Following the less than nice man, she kept close to him, knowing it were only for her own safe and best interests. |
Alyssa followed behind Marcella, not bothering to shield herself from the downpour. Her red hair was drenched and dripping water down her back. She stopped to help Cossette out of the carriage, then turned to join the others. Alyssa tripped and fell, getting muddy water all over herself. She slapped the ground with an angry hand and quickly followed the others toward the castle. |
Seeing her friend fall, she allowed the suitcase to slip from her grasp and turned back to see if she were alright. In her haste, her hood on her cloak fell from her head and her pale, lined face became exposed. |
