The lights went out and I could see the figures outside the window. I felt better now. And I wasn't scared at all. Instead I felt as if was being rescued. 'I know I'm turning insane!' I said to myself quietly so no one could hear. I wanted to get out of the compartment. Suddenly I felt an urge to see the Dark Lord. 'The Dark Lord????' I repeated to myself. What was happening to me? The red eyes, the voice and the laugh? Dark Lord? I started to scare myself... I pushed the door open and stepped through the hallway. I bumped into someone. It was dark so I couldn't see who it was.
"Watch it!" A familiar voice said
"Goyle!" I recognised the girl.
"Black? What are you doing here? Shouldnt you be under the seats with your mudblood friends?" She asked evilly
"I don't have time to argue with you at the moment. I have better things to do! Now step aside!" I said. I felt the anger raising and I felt that my eyes were red again. This time they didn't blink, but stayed that way. As I didn't hear her step away I took out my wand and held it tightly. Suddenly she lighted her wand. She started to say something but noticed my eyes.
"Black? Your eyes..."
"I said step aside!" I snapped pointing my wand at her. She quicly took a step aside and I continued down the hall.

"AH!" Stevie shouted falling forwards as the train shook again, she landed on me and screamed again as once again it shook,
"ROWL!"
"OUCH!" Kira cried "Neazel move!" She said as she begun to screech loudly. I felt around in my pocket as the train shook again.
"Lumos!" I said loudly as a light came from my wand "They are going to knock us off the track if they don't stop!" I said leaning against the wall next to Stevie as Kira joined us on the floor, we sat huddled together so that as the train shook we didn't move. "Where's B?" I said looking around. I went to get up by once again they hit the side of the train and I fell back to the girls.
"It's getting c-cold" Kira said, huddling closer to me and Stevie.
"Why arn't they stopping the train?" I said "We are going to go flying off the track! Stevie, you feeling okay?" I said. But she had sat up and looked out the window. "Don't look at them, they're scary"
"I can't see them!" Stevie said angrily.
"Lucky you!" I said pulling her back down. I noticed as three first years ran past our cabin screaming, the whole train was full of shouting and screaming. "oh, where is B!?" I said getting worried. Suddenly the train stopped to a hault and we all fell sideways. The tip of my wand was covered in ice as it went out. "...uh oh" I said, holding both Kira and Stevie tightly as I heard a scratching noise on the window. Somewhere in the distance glass had shattered in another compartment. "It think they arn't using the door" I muttered. Suddenly the glass above us smashed as a dementor came gliding in.

((This is so scary!!!! really.... *shivers*))

I fell to the ground as the train came to a sudden halt. I muttered under my breath getting up and holding on to my wand. I opened the train door and jumped outside in the middle of all the dementors. I stared at them calmly. One of them started coming towards me. "Stay away from me!" I said calmly and they all stepped aside, makeing a small path for me where I could get past them. I walked past them not plinking. I didn't feel anything. Neither did I think of anything. Maybe just that I was really scareing myself. But the dementors had no affect on me.

I started to feel imensly cold, the next thing i knew i had fainted.
"Stevie!" I heard a voice call, someone had slapped my face gently. "What?" I muttered and tried to sit up, but i fell back, luckilly Will had caught my fall. "What happened? I asked "A dementor came in, you fainted." Kira said holding my hand. I felt a cold sweat on my forehead. "I feel so dizzy" I said closing my eyes.

"Wh-What?" Stevie asked nervously.
"Dementor's are just out the door" I said looking at her closely.
"Here?" Stevie started.
"Shhh" I whispered as frost came from my mouth. I looked around sitting up and looking out the broken window "I think I know why we stopped". The front of the train had turned over and was covered with ice as several dementors where floating around it.
"There's a large group over there" Kira said, pointing to some in a circle.
"Oh no! Don't get out!" I muttered noticing some sixth year friends climbing out of a broken window, making an attempt to run away.
"I can see throught the dementors" Stevie said clearly.
"Shh, not so loud, they are just outside the door!" I whispered fiercly.
"B" Stevie said pointing to the group "They are surrounding B!"

They had made a circle around me. I don't they were about to harm me. They didn't move at all... My eyes were hurting me. "Where can I find the Dark Lord?" I asked them. I didn't recognise my voice, it was deep and harsh. The dementors once again moved aside and one of them pointed its finger towards some trees in the distance. I started walking that way

I looked to Stevie worried as the dementors moved in a group, I was still unable to see B.
"What's going on? What is she doing?" I whispered staring at Stevie with wide eyes.
"She's heading to the forest" Stevie muttered, her voice shaking with fear.
"DON'T KISS HER! SHE'S MY BEST FRIEND!" A girls voice echoed up the hallway. I felt oddly dizzy.
"They are killing us...Their killing us one by one Stevie!" I said shaking her "There here to suck out our souls! B's going to die, we are all going to be killed!"
"Worse then killed" Kira muttered behind me.
"Do somthing!" I said shaking Stevie somewhat.
"Do what?" Stevie asked, tears in her eyes.
"Save us! You always save us! You always get us through this!" I said, my voice going somewhat crazy. But I knew too well that this was different, this time Stevie had no magic and this time we where in the middle to nowhere with no help, this was unlike anything before.

"Will, theres nothing i can do" I said crying. "Please, sombody!" Just then Mcgonagle walked by the compartment. An intercom voice came over a speaker system in the compartments. "Please everyone stay calm, teh dementors are being taken off the train. We have also lost one of our students, we are going to go to the school, and a small group of us will come back to look for her. For now, shut your doors, Mrs. Hinkle will come around with snacks. If anyone has any questions or concerns, press the call button in your compartment. thankyou" she said.

I looked out the window, the front of the train looked good as new, suddenly the lights flicked back on and the train begun to take speed again, it would have been normal if the large broken window and ice still around.
"Wait! B!" I said looking out the window as the area had dissapeared, there where a lot of silver like flashes, it seemed they where controlling the dementors.
"B! What about B!" I shouted to Kira and Stevie as they sat down again.
"McGonagall said they will find her!" Kira said pursing her lip nervously.
"What if...the dementors kiss!" I said walking up and down the compartment.
"Sit down!" Stevie said grabbing my arm and pulling me down "Do not panic!" Although her voice was shaking. Suddenly the glass from the window reappeared like magic.
"I was so scared, so scared!" said a first year walking past with Tonks crying.
"Can he stay here with you?" Tonks asked opening the door "His friend was almost kissed, we are taking care of her now" She said, sitting the boy next to Kira.
"Tonks, what about-"
"People are finding her now, don't worry" Tonks said quickly "Just enjoy the trip!" She said, sounding oddly optomistic.

"Hey, cheer up," I told the boy, "Your friend will be fine, but I imagine that must've been really scary," I tried to make him smile but it didn't seem to work, maybe because I wasn't smiling myself.
He nodded and mumbled, "I'm Steven."
"Kira, Kira Weasley," I said in a dull voice. I couldn't get my mind off B, or where she was. I nearly jumped as a woman walked into our compartment passing out chocolate, "Here you are dears," she smiled.

I had heard the train leave but I didn't look back. I didn't care that I had missed it. The dementors and I were now heading through the forest, towards a silvery flashing light. I felt a part of me wanting to turn around and run away, but mos of me wanted to continue. Suddenly the trees came to an end and we all were wtaning under the night sky, trees all around us. In the middle of the square there stood some figures. All hooded and dark. One of them turned around and looked at me, then to the dementors.
"I said no prisoners!" I said coldly. I took a step closer to him and spoke up
"I came myself!" I said. A few Death Eaters lighted their wands and the one who had spoken, took off his hood, revealing a blonde hair and a myschevious grin
"I know that voice!" Draco said. He noticed my red eyes and his grin grew bigger. "Looks like you missed the train! You wouldn't possibly want to let McGonagall down for not attending it, now would you?" He said sweetly and stepped closer, placeing his hands around my shouldres. "We'll take care that you'll be at Hogwarts on time!" He said. I looked up at him
"Thank you my Lord!"

We sat in silence most of the way, and no one seemed to want to play Exploding Snap or Wizards Chess. I had just finished folding a chocolate wrapper as tiny as I could when the train came to a stop, at Hogwarts this time. I quickly got up and opened the door to the compartment, hoping to see B outside.
"Ms. Weasley!" I heard someone yell at me, I stood up strait and turned around as fast as I could to find Tonks.
"Just testing out how to yell at you kids," she laughed.
I grinned as Will walked out of the compartment, "Any word on B?" he asked as Stevie followed him out.

"Not yet, I'm afraid, I'll get to my office and see if I am needed to help" Tonks smiled starting to head to the castle, but stopped "Don't worry, we'll find her!" She said confidently.
"First years!" Hagrid's voice boomed behind us "Quickly over 'ere! Oh! 'Ello Stevie, Kira and Will!" He smiled seeing us.
"You're not seriously going to take the first years through the swamp! I mean, after that attack and all!" I said rather shocked.
"No, 'fraid there all a lil scared as it is, I suppose" He shrugged. "Gonna take em up to Mc Gonagall's office and get em sorted there, you all have to head to your common rooms"
"What? No feast?" Kira said shocked.
"Nope, everyone needs an early night, well I best be seeing you all later! First years!" He said called again looking around.

We sat in the crouded common room next to a window as everyone talked of their horror encounters with dementors. Stevie, Kira and myself sat in the corner against a window, watching out to see if B was coming.
"Why haven't they found her yet?" I said nervously.
"Weasley, Granger" Said a cold voice behind me, I turned and nearly died of shock to see Snape standing behind us, what was he doing in Gryffindor common room.
"Have you found-" I started but Snape interrupted.
"Gryffindor first years have just been sorted, they are in the head mistresses office, you will go their and escort them back" He snapped, then turned and walked away.
"Come on" I said dully to Kira, right now I didn't really care about being a prefect, I just wanted to see B again.

They send me till the Forbidden Forest near the Hogwarts grounds. Then Draco did something to my eyes so the would look normal and no one could suspect anything. I entered the castle and sneeked up to the Gryffindor Tower. I didn't get in cause I didn't know this years password. I leaned to the wall and sat down. I placed me head between my legs and waited for someone to come

I angrilly stomped up to the common rooms, "No feast, no friends" I said angrilly then sat on my bed. "You sound five" A fifth year said to me with a chuckle. I smiled. "I know" I said with a smile." I hope their back soon" I thought to myself than looked out the window, it looked as though someone was talking to Mcgaongle outside but i couldnt figure out who it was.

As Will and I walked out the portrait hole I nearly fell over a girl sitting right outside of it.
"B!" Will exclaimed.
"Where?" I looked around and then down to the girl who I had almost tripped over, "B! You're here! But how -?"
"We've all been so worried!" Will knelt down and hugged her.
"Hey guys!" B finally got a chance to say something. Just then I heard a scream from someone down a few staircases. I rushed over to the edge of a staircase and looked down to find a group of kids, watching one boy holding onto the edge of a moving staircase.
"Hold on!" I shouted down to them, "Will, we've got to go, I think I've spotted the Gryffindors and they're not in Professor McGonagle's office anymore." I finished and looked from him to B.

"Ah! You have to do your prefect duties..." I said "You can go as soon as you tell me the password..." I said getting up.
"Yes ofcourse!" Will said getting up too "It's Maddox... And we'll talk about this later!" He said as him and Kira made their way towards the group of young Gryffindors. I said the password and made my way up to the fireplace, sitting into the chair infront of it.

"How did you end up dangling for your life?" I asked, pulling the first year up from the staircase as Kira attempted to get them all into the hallway.
"Accident" He muttered, it was just then that I noticed it was the kid from the train who had sat next to B. "Hey, it's you...what's your name?"
"Luke" He said tiredly.
"Well come on Luke, the towers this way" I said, following Kira up the hallway to the portrait.
"Password?" The Fat Lady said.
"er...Maddax" Kira said trying to remember.
"no" The fat lady said stiffly.
"Oh come on! You just let me out!...oh wait! Maddox!" Kira sighed remembering it. The Fat lady opened and the first years and walked inside in a huddle.
"Welcome to Gryffindor common room, your dormetries are up those stairs, girls on the left and boys on the right your dorms will be the ones labelled 'first years'." I said walking past them quickly and over to B.
"Hi" She said again, staring into the fire.
"Hi?" I muttered "B, everyone was looking for you, did Mc Gonagall find you? What happened? Why arn't you in the hospital wing? Those dementors where all over you" I said very quickly.

"Will, give her a chance to answer, sheesh," I laughed and watched the first years run up to their dorms. I yawned and sat down on the couch next to the fire, we seemed to be the only four Gryffindors still awake, in the common room.
I turned to B, she looked like she was thinking really hard, "Well?" I asked her.

My eyes where on B, I was watching her very closely as Stevie came and sat by us aswell, she seemed to be hesitating, as if thinking of an answer.
"I don't want to talk about it" B said suddenly, almost automatically.
"You don't...oh" I said leaning back in the chair. "Birgit, I think you should go to bed" I told her. I glared at her, as if it wasn't a request but an order "Dementors weaken you, you need sleep" I said. She got up and walked upstairs.
"Why are you ordering her around?" Kira asked me, quiet offended.
"Somthings up with her" I muttered leaning into her and Stevie.
"Yeah, we kind of noticed" Stevie said simply.
"I think somthing happened in that forest that she doesn't want to tell us" I said, trying to keep our voices down.
"Well, if the dementors effected her she wouldn't want to tell us what she saw, that's personal-" Kira started.
"But Stevie could see her walking, the dementors didn't effect her" I looked over at the girls staircase. "She would normally be in the hospital wing if ten dementors surrounded her, my mother told me what it's like, all the pressure of them, you can feel the strain of them, you pass out under the depression...B didn't."

I glanced around then looked back to Will, "Then what are you saying? She had some sort of Dementer repellent on?"
He rolled his eyes, "That's insane."
"'twas a joke, William," I laughed.
The fire began to dim, "It's getting late," Stevie said, "We should go up." I nodded and got up right after Stevie had.

I got up the next morning, got changed into my uniform and robes and headed downstairs. When I got to breakfast I saw that I was the first Gryffindor fifth year there.
"Time tables" Sean Figg said coming up behind me with a pile of them, handed me one and sat down.
"uh-oh" I said looking at it "I have muggle studies thismorning!"
"I thought you liked muggle studies" He said taking some cerial and starting to eat.
"Yeah, it's fine, but when I have muggle studies the girls have Divination and that means I have to listen to them complain for the rest of the today about how bad it was!" I laughed.
"Oh well, we have Defense again the dark arts thisafternoon" Sean said still looking through his.
"Oh yeah, Tonks! That should be good, she is really nice" I said happily.

I woke up with a slight headacke. It was a peace of cake next to the ones I had earlier so I didn't mind it. I changed quicly and walked into the Great Hall. I saw Will sitting in the Gryffindor table and I sat down next to him. "Morning!" I said and peeked over to the time table he was watching. "Divination? Ah well!"
