Hogsmeade June 2099

This is just a place to play out what happened when two sixth year Gryffindors left the end of term feast early. Well Maeve left, and Prefect Anna followed suit. The former leaving early as a result of the headmaster's speech and his lack thereof for any mention of the two missing students.

The RP is OPEN to any on-site or off-site students or professors who might follow the girls from the three broomsticks. It will probably be relatively fast paced ^_^ Just let me know if you're joining and I'll add you to this post!

Maeve was literally right outside the wizarding pub, having leaned up against the outside wall, slumping to the bottom, her head in her knees. Had she heard Anna calling her name, she hadn't shown any emotion about it, because literally the only thing she could hear in her head right now was rage at the headmaster. How could he have been so vile? How could the two students have not mattered to him enough to mention them? She wanted to go back in there and demand he tell them something.... anything ... instead of forgetting their existence but yet she also ... the rational part of her brain, said it wasn't worth it.

30. Never mention your character's name in a post, but use other descriptors instead.

The younger Gryffindor prefect had immediately followed her friend outside The Tree Broomsticks and sighed when she saw Maeve already down on the grown with her head in her knees.

Without saying anything, she knelt down beside the blonde and put a hand on her shoulder. She considered all of the things she could say to try and make her friend feel better, but she knew nothing would help. At all. And it wasn't like she was feeling great about all of this either, so she couldn't even come up with an excuse as to why the Headmaster had done what he did.

Sighing heavily again, the sixth year rubbed her friend's shoulder because... well, what else could she do? "I'm sorry..." Was all she could say for the time being as she looked at the ground in front of them. The Prefect knew Kamryn and Maeve were super close, probably even closer than she herself was with either of them.

Merlin, this was so much worse than the Inferi attack.

Barely twitching, not even looking at Anna, she sighed heavily, "They existed. They did. But why did he act like they didn't?" And its a they, because while she didn't know Tad Potter too well, he mattered to a great deal of students as well.

Maybe they have news. Maybe they know what's happening, maybe they know where... they are." Either way. Anna scratched her forehead as she sighed in frustration. This was hard. Much more than she wanted to be dealing with at sixteen. And right on a day that was supposed to be celebratory as well.

Urgh.

Maeve quickly added the last bit knowing her friend had a summer birthday. "We'll go to the ministry as soon as possible. Find out what they know. What we can do."
