Hi everyone who is now reading my ficlets! I am now writing my first set of ficlets on the pairings of Harry Potter and Cho Chang. Enjoy~

Cho Chang
To a second year student, it was not hard to learn simple spells. Especially for a Ravenclaw, who was recognised as the most intelligent among the whole school. However it didn't appear onto the intelligence of Cho. Though she was good at almost everything else, but not casting charms.

The Asian girl focused onto a book far away from her and took out her wand. "Acccccccio,"she said with full care. The book remained unmoved, still sitting on the table, enjoying its beautiful morning but not for her. "Fail, again,"she whispered with a little disappointment. How come I could never do it?

Cho had tried to do it in every morning, but she never did succeed. For once, the book seemed to move a bit but then it laid down again, motionlessly which had once again destroyed the hope from this girl. She just wanted to give up but she couldn’t since that was what her family told her not to. She was never going to give it up.

With a full house of disappointment, she picked up this ‘cruel’ book and went for lessons.

Harry Potter
The charms lesson.

Harry Potter loved attending charms. Well, maybe it was because he would feel really proud of himself when he succeeded in doing new spells. He was born with so much talent but it was just that he couldn't notice that all by himself.

He placed his wand on the table and kept practising different spells that he had learnt previously without saying that actual wording out so as not to make it really work out. He didn't want any accidents to happen because of him. However as he was practising the severing charm which he had learnt recently, he split out some of the syllables which had made it work 'effectively'. The charm landed on the book in front of him which was believed to have belonged to girl sitting at the front. Harry tried to take a look at it when he realized that accidents had really happened.

Well.

Realising the book was divided into half suddenly, the Ravenclaw girl turned over to see what had happened. She stared at Harry who was looking somewhere else, pretending nothing has happened at all.

"So what do you want to do with me?"she asked, looking quite angry with this lion boy.
"I...I...,"he said,facing down on the table. He was too afraid to look into the girl's eyes.
"Fine,"she replied as she was taking her wand out from her pocket slowly. She whispered one of the softest word ever,"langlock". "I don't want to hear from you either. You don't have to say anything. I will count this as myself being unfortunate,"she shouted at him and gave him a piece of paper and went away.

Harry wasn't able to say anything or response to her or even apologising for his mistake. He took a look of the piece of paper and went out of the classroom silently. Maybe he was wrong.

Harry Potter
Harry went out of classroom as soon as the lesson ended. He was absolutely sorry for that mistake that he accidentally made. He didn't actually mean it but the Ravenclaw seemed to be really serious towards this. Well, she was right. If it were Harry that suffered from this, he would be probably kill that person straight forward.

He ran to look at every corner of the corridor but there was no sign of the Ravenclaw. He looked around, starting to panic. He did not want to be hated by anyone, not even someone that he didn't even know. But then suddenly he felt really dizzy and nearly falling onto the ground. His head was like going to explode in one or two minute. It was so painful that he could not stand.

That he knew, the man was doing it to him, again.

Harry was in his senses after a few minutes when probably that man got tired or something. But then he got a whole feeling that something bad was going to happen to him, once again. Why on earth that man called Voldemort had to harm him? He could still say his name out loud in his mind, but that practically. Harry was a bit afraid to do so.

He went out of the castle and into the Quidditch pitch. There he noticed the Ravenclaw sitting under a tree alone, looking quite sad. Maybe it was because of what Harry did not just too long ago. He headed to her and wanted to make an apology, a serious one to a serious girl.

He secretly used the charm, muffliato, so as to let this girl to listen to him, only. And it also made him easier to speak his piece. "I'm sorry,"he said in a gentle voice."I didn't mean to..."he paused, hoping for her reaction. But there was nothing. The Ravenclaw just looked up at him with a small grin on her face.

The Ravenclaw sat under the tree, remaining silence and leaving the Gryffie standing in front of her. The boy wanted to say something more but every time he did so, she stopped him from saying it out loud.

"I am okay,"she said flatly, breaking the silence finally."You don't have to do anything for that incident because I am going to buy a new book anyway."She smiled, staring at the people outside who was playing happily with their friends. Harry nodded but he didn't want to simply walk away and pretended nothing has actually happened. Noticing that the boy was still standing still, the Ravenclaw suggested him to sit next to her. She probably wanted someone to be her listener, it was better that it was a stranger. And now this boy came perfectly to her.

The Gryffindor was so surprised with the girl's request. What? Sit with her? It was quite weird for him to sit with a person he didn't even know and it was even weirder that a person he didn't know invited him to sit with her. Weird.

Anyway he would accept it, just took it as the compensation for her and the incident then. He sat down slowly and tried to look at the way she was looking at. Then the girl started to tell her story from a brief introduction. So now he knew her name, Cho.

He nodded as he listened carefully. As Cho was saying her lines, Harry felt his heart thumping up and down loudly. It was not normal at all.He was so puzzled that he didn't know why he was actually feeling that his cheeks were burning and his legs were...TREMBLING. What on earth was happening onto him?

Harry Potter
There he sat with a girl that he had just met under a tree, trying to start their first conversation. Harry was so nervous about the things that the girl would tell them. Well, he didn't even know the reason why he should listen to her but then since he was free so it wasn't that bad to know more about others. After all she was his schoolmate.

So he tried to make himself comfy by cooling down those unusual burning cheeks by fanning himself with his hands just like how the girls normally did. He decided that he should take it very seriously and pay a very close attention to what she was going to say. However just as she was about to tell her story, he felt like his head was cracking and it was really hurt. There he was, again. This time he was trying to get through his minds and Harry felt like he has just shot by someone else in his head. He couldn't stand that pain and he fainted.

"Are you alright?"the Ravenclaw asked with lots of concern, being really worried with the condition of this suddenly-fainted boy. It took a few minutes for the boy to regain his conscious after that sudden shock that made him actually fell on the ground, laying on the grass without any other movements. It looked as if he was dead.

Harry could barely open his eyes and the strong stream of sunlight that came right through the window made him harder to do so. He looked around, realising himself had been carried to the Hospital Wing. He gasped with relief as he recalled the scene that came right through his mind which made him faint. That horrible dark mark of the man who-must-not-be-named. It was terrifying. He remembered the mark coming towards him and trying to swallow him at once. And then he was awaken by this wonderful Cho, whom he was beginning to have a crush on her from nowhere.

Cho Chang
She should be saying some other things else, or at least she should tell him that she does really care about him other than just simply asking him if he was alright or not. The Ravenclaw pouted a bit and regretted for not telling him more about how worried she was when he suddenly fainted. Hopefully he could understand it or figure it out himself even when the girl didn't say so.

"You should be starving till now since you have been 'sleeping' for almost three days without eating anything,"she said with an assuring smile. Then she took out a cookie from her pocket and decided to share it with him. It was supposed to be her own treat, but she was willing to share with him. Cho had no idea what she was actually doing, normally she wouldn't be that nice to a person that she has just met. But apparently he was different, she could feel her heart thumping for him every time she saw him. Maybe she was just out of her mind, maybe she...had had a crush on him. She hoped that he could know if only her heart could be enlarged so as to be large enough for him to see celarly.

Harry and Cho
"Come on, you can do it, Cho!"the lioness encouraged the girl sitting next to him, adding on a wide grin on his face, hoping that it would bring some comfort or a motive power for her to try and do it. However the Ravenclaw just sat there, remained silence without any single though of taking her wand out. "Listen Harry. It takes me decades to learn how to use a spell and it even takes me longer to actually cast them,"she replied, dare not glancing at him. The boy pulled her up and took her arm out, giving his wand to her and taught her the movement of casting a spell. Just as his hand clutched onto her arms, both of their hearts thumped faster and faster that they could indeed, feel the heartbeat of one another.

There she was, standing in front of the lion and was ready to cast her very first spell. She pointed at the apple on the table and murmured out the words. "Wingardium Leviosa." Slowly the apple moved a bit and stood still in the air, following the movement of Cho and finally landed on Harry's hands. She did it. Smiling at the boy, she hugged him tight.

Harry Potter

Autumn has finally come and paid her very first visit to Hogwarts. Leaves started to fall from every trees and became the only carpet for the ground. With the wind blowing and brushing your hair softly, it's best for pinics and outings and most importantly as for a student studying in this magical school. It was best for some Quidditch practices on this breezy day.

The lion made his way to the Quidditch Pitch, bringing his own broomstick along. He exhaled as he took the box out which he always used it to practice, even when the other members were not around. He loved practicing alone because he thought that it would be the only way for him to think and enjoy all by himself, without others disturbing. "I miss you so much, my dear broom,"he whispered to himself, touching the feathers of his broom and threw his body over it. He was ready to get started, enjoy this lovely practice under those little breezes.

Just as he got himself settled down a bit, the broom started shaking from right to left, as if it was trying to throw him away. He cling onto it so hard, he didn't want to fall off from the sky, he didn't want to be in the Hospital Wing once again. But he just didn't know what he should do. Harry started to panic, but still squeezing his hands hard and clutched it still. What should I do now? Help!

Cho Chang
"Come on, Cho. Follow me,"another Ravenclaw, Luna said as she grabbed her arms and pulled her to the entrance at the Quidditch Pitch. "If you're lucky, you can see him."She finished, raising her voice. Cho simply nodded at what Luna has just said. She was the only friend of hers who knew about her crush on the caring, nice Harry Potter. And now the good friend was just creating chances for her meeting him or bumping into him accidentally when both of them fell down onto the ground at once and...Woah. Nothing to be imagined.

The two girls stepped into the pitch and took a seat at the front row where they could have a good view at the whole practice. But most importantly was to take a good and closer look at the Gryffindor who was now ready to take a ride with his broom on his left. Cho stared at every single movement of his. Merlin, she was like deeply in love with this boy but he just didn't know it yet. She has always been thinking when was the right time for her to confess but she was always too shy to do it in front of him. Just as she was admiring and imagining him flying in the sky with his wonderful broom, she realized that he was...kind of shouting and calling for help up in the air. He was in panic since the broom has lost its control and started bumping up and down.

What should she do to help him? Oh yea, the braking charm. The charm that they have just learnt during the last lesson. But what does it sound like? The Ravenclaw was now in panic as well. She just couldn't let Harry fall down from the broom and be sent to Hospital Wing with her just standing right there, doing nothing right? Braking charm. Urgh professor what was that, come again?
