Lupine and the Accio Spell #1

Remus was studying hard, finals were coming up quickly. He
often found it difficult to study with his monthly changes,
often requiring days of recovery if he'd been loose and
fought with anyone. Even without fighting he often felt drained
after the Full Moon. So cracking the books whenever a
moment showed itself was critical to keeping up in class.

For some reason, Herbology was giving him a particularly hard
time at present. Trying to decipher his class notes wasn't
easy --more than once he'd wished for Lily's neat handwriting.

"Darn," sputtered Remus, "I must have missed this day in
class," he paused, glancing over his notes. "I don't have
anything down here about the life cycle of Mandrakes." Remembering then that Lily had said he could borrow her notes at any time, he considered his options. He could walk
back to the Common Room and search for her which would
take some time. Or he could use magic to fetch
her notes for him.

"Oh well, guess I can't get that spell wrong no matter how tired I am," thought Remus.

Remus then straightened his back, raised his arm, and waved
his wand speaking clearly said, "Accio Lily's Herbology study notes."

Lupin and Wingardium Leviosa #49

"Let's see, first years will have learned a number of
these spells" mused Prof. Lupin, "I wonder how I can
spice up the review for finals?" Then the bell rang
and it was time for breakfast in the main dining
hall. "Oh my, I must be more tired than I'd
thought, time is going by very quickly." Thought Lupin on
his way to the dining hall. "Of course, I wouldn't
be so tired if I hadn't stayed up all night
helping Dumbledoor try to track down He Who Shall Not
Be Named" Lupin was deep in thought not paying much
attention to anything or anyone when he was almost knocked
off his feet.

"Oh Professer I'm sorry" said Hagrid, "I
didn't see you there."

"No problem Hagrid, it's alright." laughed Lupin. Then they both
settled down for a hearty breakfast.

After breakfast it was back to the first years test reviews. "Now students" began Lupin, we'll begin with something easy to levitate- feathers,
then we'll move on to something more interesting- like eachother!"

After many trials and erros, it was clear that some
still needed extra work, "Alright you lot, stay after class
and we'll work on Wingardium Leviosa some more." Smiled Lupin.

Lumos #24. Lumos

The troublesome trio were executing a wild prank on Severus. Sirius,
Remus and James were barely able to contain their mirth just
thinking about it! It was devious, dastardly, and bound to
cause Severus great embaressment. It was getting dark, and they
were stumbling slowly along on their way back to Hogwarts.

James suddenly fell down a slippery slope they had forgotten
was even there. "Ow" he cried out. "I think I've
twisted my ankle."

Sirius quickly changed into his dog shape
to find James without getting hurt himself. In a fit
of pure silliness, he licked James cheek. "Yuck!" Sputtered James,
"quit that Sirius or else!!"

Changing back into himself, Sirius
looked about, "Can't see much of anything, are you sure
it's twisted?"

Remus suddenly said "Lumos" and had light to
walk safely down the slope towards his chums. "Now there
James, how are we going to get you back to
Hogwarts without letting Headmaster know we've broken curfew again??"

"Put that light out" cried Sirius, "we'll be spotted instantly!"

Sirius and Remus each stood on one side of James,
and together, they helped him limp back to Hogwarts. It
was a long arduous walk made more difficult by night.

Lupine and the Unbreakable Vow (48. Unbreakable Vow)

The troublesome trio were at it again, planning a wild and
whoolly escapade. James wanted to use a series of spells
to create havock at Slitheryn House during exams. Sirius agreed,
but wanted the spells to focus more on Severus than
the other Slytherin Members. Remus was apprehensive about focusing on
the entire house at once, and tended to agree with
Sirius, that they should focus on one particular member. James
was always pushing the envelope!

They were hiding in a broom closet, planning to cast spells
in secret willy nilly so none would know it was
them. They hadn't counted on Slytherin House having a secret meeting
that night, there were too many of the oldest students
in the room for them to do what they'd planned-
they were bound to get caught. Among those present were
Lucious and Severus....they overheard bits and pieces, their collective
ears perked up when they heard the phrase 'Unbreakable Vow"
spoken by Lucious.
