Incomplete Drabbles The forum is home to all drabble threads that didn't quite reach their 25/50/100 target, but are definitely worth keeping on SnitchSeeker.

Default Silently_Dreaming's Marietta Edgecombe Drabbles - Sa13+

Hello everybody! I'm glad you bothered to come over and read my drabbles, I'm excited to do this. Sa13+ may be a bit extreme then what I think the rating will probably be in the end, but it would work just too be safe.

99#-Newspaper

Marietta took full trust into the newspapers these days. Ever since Dumbledore, who she normally respected, said You-Know-Who was back with no back-story, Cho’s boyfriend, Cedric, was dead, and Harry Potter was once again in the limelight. There was no proof You-Know-Who was back, no disappearances, no deaths…nothing, besides the claims of two people.

“Anything in the newspaper today, Marietta?” one of her friends, Isabel MacDougal asked.

“Oh, nothing really…” Marietta sighed as she folded up the newspaper. “Just some stuff about Umbridge…you know. About her being Hogwarts’ first ever ‘High Inquisitor’.”

“Okay,” Isabel said, turning back too her breakfast.

#43-Headmaster

“Hello, Ms. Edgecombe,” Marietta was surprised when she was walking down the hallway alone to see Professor Dumbledore walking in the opposite direction. And more surprised that he was even speaking too her. “How is your face doing?”

Marietta absently touched the formation of pimples across her face. “Fine, Professor Dumbledore. They are getting a bit better.”

A small sign of a smile formed across Dumbledore’s face. “That is very good to hear, for I heard from Professor Flitwick that you were having trouble to find a spell to remove them.”

“Yes, sir,” Marietta mumbled, looking down at the floor.
