Hi, I'm Fae and this is my first time doing some ficlets on SS. So here's some ficlets for Draco Malfoy, I hope you all enjoy!

49. Wingardium Leviosa
First Year

Despite other appearances, Draco Malfoy was just as excited as any of the other first years to start learning how to use magic. To start casting actual spells, not just watch as his parents cast spells.

He just couldn’t believe that this was going to be the first spell that they were learning.

A levitation spell.

He doubted it would ever be useful.

With that in his mind, he rolled his eyes, barely paying attention to what the miniature professor was saying. It was only when everyone else had started to speak that he’d finally broken out of his own thoughts, a smug smile on his face as he waved his want and said ‘Wingardium Leviosa’.

The smug smile fell immediately.

Nothing happened.

His eyes hardened only a minute later when a feather floated in the air, due to a mudblood. He had been shown up by a mudblood!

This was unacceptable.

39. Riddikulus

Third Year

Draco was scared. Absolutely terrified. Perhaps it was about the boggart that he was meant to be facing in a moment. In truth, he knew it was because everyone else would see his boggart. Everyone else would see his fear.

And he knew it already.

He knew what he was going to see.

It was something that he would never be able to live down if they saw it, he knew that much, so he’d gone as far to the back of the room as he possibly could. There was a hope in him that perhaps, if he was really lucky, he wouldn’t have to face his boggart.

He’d try it by himself at home. It wouldn’t be too hard to find one in the dark mansion. While it wasn’t inviting for most people, the boggarts definitely loved it there. When he was younger the house elves often got rid of them for him.

As it ended after Potter’s was a dementor, he sighed in relief. Draco would make fun of Potter for that, so he couldn’t imagine how people would react to his.

The figure that would’ve walked out of that closet was one all would recognise.

32. Peskipiksi Pesternomi

Fifth Year

Peskipiksi Pesternomi.

A smirk crossed Draco Malfoy’s face as he remembered his second year at Hogwarts. Gilderoy Lockhart was useless, narcissistic and terrible at his job. In Draco’s opinion it just proved that Dumbledore was equally as useless if he was willing to hire someone who was clearly incapable of teaching defence against the dark arts.

Merlin’s beard, Lockhart wouldn’t have been capable of passing a NEWT and that was meant to be a minimum requirement of a professor.

The chaos of that first class with Lockhart, of the quiz that he had administered to them and the pixies he had released and then left the twelve year olds to deal with as he ran away was still memorable. While Draco didn’t want to remember his own reaction, the looks on Potter and Weasley’s faces were still ingrained into his memories.

They were equally as useless; he’d just forget about how he hadn’t been any more useful than them.

Looking down at his OWL though, he immediately knew that the answer to the question was that it wasn’t a legitimate spell.

At least that was one answer guaranteed to be correct.
