A certain potion master stormed through the hall, splitting up students like fish in the sea, two Gryffindors fighting laughter as he passed them.
”My doesn’t Snape look particularly snappish today?” Fred asked rhetorically.
“Don’t you mean Snape-ish?” George corrected his other half with a smirk as a Ravenclaw felt Snape’s wrath.
“Right you are my dear twin,” Fred said as they resumed walking.
“What did you two do?” Angelina asked looking curiously at them.
“Us? We did nothing…” he answered.
“Nothing that can be traced back to us that is,” George explained as the two Weasleys shared mischievous grins.

1. Herbology
“Ready?” George asked his brother as they sat in Herbology class ready for today’s lesson. “Commence the test,” Fred answered taking the pill they had created. “Tangy,” he remarked swallowing it and waiting for it to take effect.
George watched his twin as he put his earmuffs on, Fred setting his own on his head so they looked on but weren’t covering. On the count of three both pulled the baby mandrake out of the pot, its screams filling the greenhouse as Fred collapsed unconscious.
“Guess its back to the drawing board for that product,” George remarked biting his lip.

75. Yodel
“Yudl - Ay … Yudl - Ay …Yudl - Ay - WEEE – Hooooo” came a voice doing a yodel from the corridor where Filch’s office could be found usually followed by cursing and grumbling as the man in question tried to figure out where it was coming from.
”Think he suspects?” George asked as they walked down the hallway towards class. Their impish grins as usual gracing their faces.
” Yeah right," Fred replied with a chuckle.
”Yeah…like we’re the only ones who’d give him a yodeling Umbridge doll for his birthday and then hide it for him to find.”

50. Boggart
"Hey mum, I think we found another way to tell us apart," Fred called down from the dusty room upstairs in Grimmauld Place having been instructed to clean.
"What is it?" Mrs. Weasley asked coming up the stairs to investigate after hearing loud noises coming from the room where the twins were supposed to be working.
"...with a boggart," George answers, the boys pointing to the creature in the corner of the room halfway between a dead clown and a basilisk. The boggart in question having been caught so confused when confronted by the two pranksters at the same time.

48. Leprechaun
Green was not always a good color for certain Gryffindors to wear and that was not because it was the house color to their rival house, Slytherin.
”We look like overly tall leprechauns,” Fred commented making a face as he fingered the spelled robes as they looked at their changed appearances in the mirror in their dorm room.
“Could be worse.” George countered tilting his head in examination of their reflections. “They could have wound up pink thanks to that stupid spell of Ron’s.”
Both Weasley twins couldn’t help but shutter. “Yeah…that is all we need…to look like twin Umbridges.”

The explosion almost shook the house on its foundation as one bedroom filled with smoke.
"Fred and George Weasley! “ Mrs. Weasley yelled from below as two identical heads slowly became visible from underneath their workstation.
“It was nothing!” the two pranksters in question yelled back before waiting to hear footsteps coming up the stairs. When none were heard, George let out a sigh of relief.
“That was close,” he replied looking at his mirror image as Fred moved to x-tinguish the curtains for the third time.
“You’re telling me,” Fred replied the edge of his hair unknowingly singed.

92. Chocolate
Wrapping paper littered the area around the common room Christmas tree by mid morning. As students dispersed downstairs for breakfast rustling could heard off to one side before a hand shot up in victory clutching an undisturbed gift.
"Found it!" Fred exclaimed as he freed the rest of his body from the tree carnage.
“I knew Bill wouldn’t fail us,” George remarked presenting himself as his counterpart opened the box to reveal its contents. Taking a foil-wrapped piece, Fred passed the box to George and they unwrapped their favorite gift.
“Mhmmm…Chocolate,” they both murmured as they savored their first bite.

"Why oh why did Ronnikins have to fly Dad's car into the Whomping Willow? We only barely escaped being punished for the next century for teaching him how to operate it because Mum was madder at him for nearly getting expelled," Fred replied as they strolled out onto the school grounds towards the offensive tree.
“Could have been worse.” George replied causing his twin to shoot him a questioning look.
“Could have been us, managing to get both Mum and Dad mad at us the same time.”
“Nah that would have been better. That hasn’t happened in a couple years.”

There was a gentle scratching as Fred moved his quill along the bottom of the cup, humming quietly providing a distraction for his work.
“What are you doing? George whispered.
“Shuu…” Fred countered.
“Now read the cups of those across from you,” Professor Trelawney instructed the divination class as she surveyed the room. Finishing up his work, Fred lowered his quill and handed the tea cup to his twin.
“Beware…” George read in an eerie voice, “You will be attacked by Mrs. Norris,” he predicted seeing the catlike image on the bottom of the cup causing them both to snicker.

“On the count of three,” George replied quietly from their spot by a tree.
“One…two…THREE!!” Fred answered counting off in a stage whisper only loud enough for his twin to hear.
When the count reached three, one snowball after another shot at an unsuspecting Slytherin, leaving the boy quickly looking around for the culprits as the two cackling Gryffindors hid in plain sight.
“See I told you borrowing Harry’s cloak would be fun,” George remarked as they walked still invisible to their next target.
“Just imagine all the pranks we could do with none of the danger of being caught.”

"What's the answer to number 3?” George asked from his lounged position, parchment and quill in hand.
"Mandrake roots,” Fred responded in a similar position red hair almost gracing the floor.
"You sure?
"Yep."
“What are you two doing?” Angelina asked as she neared, looking down at the pranksters. Their heads hanging off the edge of the couch where their legs should be.
“Homework.” They answered together.
“See blood rushing to the brain…” Fred started to explain.
“…helps you think better,” George finished.

“No and that’s final. Your mother would never forgive me,” Arthur Weasley replied shooing his twin sons from where he kept the enchanted Ford Anglia before securing it and reentering the house.
“Great, a flying car right under our noses and we can’t fly it,” George remarked as they walked into the gardens around The Burrow, absently kicking at the garden gnomes.
“Guess we gotta do it the hard way,” Fred remarked with a smirk as he kicked a nasty one of his own. An expression that was soon mirrored by his other half.

As the duo made their way to the professor’s office, they greeted each of the portraits they passed by name. They had been here often enough to be so familiar. Entering the room when called in they were met by the upset deputy headmistress.
“Ah Misters Weasley,” McGonagall nearly muttered. “How nice to see you two again so soon. You do realize why you both are here?”
“Yes Professor,” George replied as he glanced at his twin.
“Though we daresay the portraits in the dungeons look better with our improvements,” Fred added as they both fought the urge to snicker.

A red headed eleven year old stepped up to the stool in front of the teachers table and took a seat down upon it. His mirror self having left it only a few moments before.
"Ah...interesting," the sorting hat spoke as it sat upon the young student's head. "A mind so like the other it would be impossible to keep them apart."
"GRYFFINDOR!"
George near-hopped off the stool to join Fred at the table belonging to their new house A troublesome smirk upon their faces as they exchanged looks while the next student took their turn with the ancient hat.

"Just one? " Fred asked causing the woman to turn, George taking the opportunity to snatch a few from the tray.
Hearing the noise Molly turned quickly around but George was already hurrying away with Fred in pursuit. “You and your sweet tooths,” she scolded.

“We got them from Dad,” George finished.

“Mr. Weasley…” Professor Snape called out at the latest mishap.
“Yes,” two voices echoed as Fred and George answered in unison, twin innocent looks plastered on their faces.
Snape narrowed his eyes as he looked from one to the other. “Did you switch the aconite with the asphodel?
“No,” George answered with a shake of the head. “We switched it with daisy,” Fred corrected matter-of-factly with a nod.
“Detention! Both of you.!” He remarked swiftly turning to walk back to the front with a huff.
“So worth it just to push his buttons,” Fred admitted, both struggling not to laugh.

Filch was hammering up the latest proclamation; 28 rules of absolute nonsense imposed by the ministry.
"Just what Hogwarts needs..." Fred remarks looking up at the wooden framed document declaring a new head to the school.
"And people thought Phineas was bad," George added as they stood against one another in the entrance hall, creative wheels in their minds already in motion.
“Dear Gred I say we congratulate her on her new position the Weasley Wizard Wheezes way,” one replied with a smirk.
“Excellent idea Forge,” the other answered mirroring the grin that grew on his face.

He probably should have had them come into the shop separately. Because two Weasley twins testing out TWO sets of wands to be chosen was testing Olivander’s normally calm demeanor.
…and the strength of the spells protecting his shop from TOO much damage.
CRASH!
“Not that one.”
BANG!
“Or that one.”
No…no…no. He stopped the boom, taking away the pine and phoenix wand.
Merlin help him. It took at least four tries from each of the brothers, a harder choice than any of their previous three siblings.
And what do you know…identical twins do not get claimed by identical wands.

“Hermione I think we’re going to have to agree with Ronikins on this one…” Fred remarked with a sigh as they returned to their rooms.
“…he might be half-kneezle, but Crookshanks is all menace, especially to our spying,” George added.
“He certainly didn’t mean to wreck things,” Hermione defended her familiar, though she did feel bad about messing things up.
“But he still destroyed our prototype and we don’t have another here at headquarters.”
“We’re stuck not knowing what the Order is talking about.”
Hermione sighed.
“Unless you want to risk spying a bit closer.”
“No one would suspect you.”

“Look George, we made it!” Fred excitedly shared the newspaper he had found after returning home from their Egypt trip with his other half.
“A picture right there in the Daily Prophet…too bad we had to share with the whole family….and a rat”
“Ah they were just needed to combat out awesomeness on the front page,” he mused with a chuckle.
“Yeah, no one can handle the Great Weasley Twins on their own,” George agreed with laughter of his own.
“So that’s why the professors want to run when they have you both in class,” Ron teased.
“You’re just jealous.”
