Yaharr! Welcome to my 100 Helga Hufflepuff drabbles. I believe Helga is a character that often goes unnoticed; we forget her in the shadow of Gryffindor and Slytherin and Ravenclaw. These drabbles are aimed at bringing justice to our dear Helga. So without further ado, let's begin!

1. Herbology

Helga loved to take naps in the greenhouses. Her particular favourite was greenhouse fourteen, where the fruit-bearing plants grew.

It was late May and the weather was unusually sunny and warm, causing drowsiness even amongst professors. Helga, who taught Herbology, stayed back after the last class before lunch and let the students dribble out of the greenhouse. When they were gone, she kneeled down onto the earthy floor, crawled underneath a table bearing pots of Skittering Satsuma trees and closed her eyes. The musky scent of soil mixed with the spicy tang of fruit, cradling her into a warm sleep.
