Failing Again - #1 Herbology

Oliver couldn’t believe that he had failed yet another Herbology class quiz. And he’d got himself detention for it. He’d never live this down; the twins would tease him forever.

“Come on Mr Wood start re-writing that essay on Devil’s Snare.” Professor Sprout called as she left him in Greenhouse Three. Oliver and Herbology were like..the twins and studying. They just didn’t go together!

He sighed as he pulled his Herbology book towards him and started reading. The information filtered into his brain but just wasn’t processing. He wasn’t the academic type and Herbology definitely wasn’t his strong point.

Muggles with Muggins - #2 Muggle Studies

“Ah muggle studies the class where we can say how little muggles know about real sport and get graded for it!” Oliver joked as he saw his first class of the day. Percy Weasley cast a piercing eye at him.

“Muggle studies is a highly respectable class Oliver. We must learn about them so we can understand them better. I, for one, will be paying great attention. Who knows when something learnt in that class might help me out?”

Oliver chuckled at Percy’s thinking before grabbing his books and heading to the classroom, which was quite a while away.

How do you solve a problem like Oliver? - #3 Transfiguration

Professor McGonagall cast a beady eye over her class as they sat in silence. She had just caught them all transfiguring each other’s belongings into pillows and having a massive fight. And the main culprit was just who she suspected it to be. Mr Oliver Wood. That boy was going to be a handful. But she knew the perfect outlet for his energy and skills, he could tutor younger students, like Katie Bell who was currently failing transfiguration pretty badly. Yes a transfiguration tutor would be the perfect thing for him. And she could give him extra credit for it.
