#30 End-Of-Year Feast

The table was swarming with people for the End-Of-Year Feast. The students were eating happily, laughing, talking and drinking. Everbody was smiling, and having a good time.

The Fat Friar, the Hufflepuff ghost was sitting beside the students "Oh darn, I wish I could eat it. The food looks irresistable!" the small ghost said in a wheezy, wizened voice. Hannah Abbott looked at the figure and said "But you cant eat Fat Friar, youre a ghost!".

"Yes, of course I know that child, but it's just so irresistable, and if I was alive I would be gorging right now" he replied. Some of the students laughed at his comment. "Good times, good old days" he muttered with some sadness.

#17 Cauldron

It was Double potions for the 1st year Hufflepuffs. Snape was glaring furiously as a 1st year stirred an elixer against Acne too much. He smirked inguiniously.

The student was terrified at Snapes look. She was Sarah Macintosh, Hufflepuff, and Oh boy she was sweating alright! She was a wimpy 1st year, and a few seconds later, the Cauldron exploded!!!! "So, so sorry professor! Oh god, no!" she said, tears sprang up in her big blue eyes. "10 points from Hufflepuff for your ignorant deeds" the Professor said sharply to Sarah. And with a cleaning charm, he cleaned all the mess off the floor.

#100 Homework

The common room was buzzing with student bees that evening after dinner. It was 4th term, and near the exams. The couches and Chintz Armchairs were full of people, and even all the study tables had gone, filled with the buzzes of student workbees.

A scrawny 3rd year boy was looking for a spot, but no luck came. Even the dormitories were full. He had no choice but to work on the floor tiredly. He sat down, crossed his legs and sighed heavily as people stared at him with piggy eyes. It was strange how far upopularity could really go thought the small boy.

#42. Portraits

A group of Hufflepuff year 5 girls were crossing the corridors when one of those girls, Samara stopped infront of a handsome night galloping accrosss the portraits.

"You seem to be having fun" she siad happily, admiring his sheen armour, and beautiful face. "Come on Samara, no need to be here, we've GOT to go to Astronomy now!" said another girl, Caitlin. "Who are you?" Samara asked the knight again. He stopped in his path and looked at her. "Why i'm Sir Aldred, Whitefodd of Glastonbury, wealthy rich gentleman" he said proudly. "Egocentric idiot" said Tamika, another girl from the pack. Then the group continued walking towards the Astronomy Tower.

#92. Chocolate

It was late afternoon, and the Hufflepuff Common Room was almost empty, apart from a few students in the Armchairs doing homework. One of them, named Will was munching on some soothing chocolate while gazing into the fireplace.

It was at the time were Harry was in his 3rd year, and Dementors ruled the school. "Enjoy that Chocolate while you can. Because you'll be needing it for the rest of the year" A small boy said, staring at the chocolate. Will continued doing his Transfiguration Homework then he replied. “Yes, Dementors, why do you think I’m even munching on this!.

#34. Parseltongue

Justin Finch-Fletchley was lining up with the other Hufflepuffs for the duelling lesson. Finally were doing something exciting in Defence. After a successful duel with Ernie Macmillan, he watched as Potter and Malfoy did it. But his mind turned blank as all of a sudden, a snake was weaving its way towards him! He heard Parseltongue. Just then, the thought became reality, it was Harry speaking Parseltongue! He screamed inside his head as the snake was coming closer. Then all of a sudden, it stopped. He was raged and angry and Potter; why did he set the snake on him?

#88. Sweet Tooth

A group of Hufflepuff girls were sitting by the beech tree near the lake. They were studying for their OWL’s. Meanwhile, a friend walked up to them and sat beside Verity, the most popular of them all, and attractive. “Hey, do you want some candy from Honeydukes? My mum just sent me some.” They all agreed, and ate 15 chocolate frogs, 4 packets of droobles best blowing gum, 6 liquorice wands and 10 cauldron cakes. Amy, the friend who was handing all the sweets out, gave everyone a sugar quill as well. The next day they were all sick, sweet-toothed!

#25. Sorting Hat

The Sorting Hat was left to itself in Headmaster Dumbledore’s office. It was thinking of a new song, and a new verse for Hufflepuff. Like each and every other year, it was left revising and inventing ballads for the Sorting Ceremony of students; describing each house and its qualities. It was stuck on Hufflepuff, thinking to itself the basic qualities of a Hufflepuff. Finally it decided on this:

Good Hufflepuff, she took the rest
And taught them all she knew.

Just like the previous years’ songs, it always stuck to the 3 words: Loyalty, inclusion and patience.

#65. Ooze

It was a stormy day, and a fire was blazing in the Hufflepuff Common Room. Ernie Macmillan was being his pompous self, and walking around the common room, looking for trouble. Nearby, a group of third years were happily experimenting with some new charms they learnt in class. One of the students accidentally said the wrong incantation, and not a second later everything within 5 metres of the group was covered in ooze, including Ernie. He stood there, fuming and started shouting at the group, who were laughing hysterically. He sighed, and altogether they said “Evanesco” and the mess disappeared.

#5. Astronomy

The fifth year Hufflepuffs were at their Astronomy Class, observing star patterns. One of the students smiled happily as she reached the top of the tower. Astronomy was her favourite subject. She unpacked her telescope and immediately saw 5 constellations and a group of stars that spelled out the word "Hufflepuff". But after more careful observations she released herself from the telescope and drew a sharp intake of breath. It was the Grim - she had seen a constellation of Grims! But when she looked through her telescope again, it was gone. She shook her head, thinking she imagined it.

#72 Vex

‘Stop it’

“Stop it” he repeated in a whiny voice.

She couldn’t stand it, Hannah slapped Darcy on the face and he immediately fell silent, but still carried a smirk on his lips. Hannah Abbot was reporting her little brother Darcy to Professor Sprout. Darcy was an annoying, troublesome first year who always found an excuse to break the rules.

‘You are so annoying Darcy! Just quit trying to be cool and breaking the rules. This is the second time I have to report you to Sprout” she said angrily. Darcy sighed heavily and followed his sister quietly, head bowed.

#55. Egg On

The Hufflepuffs in the Hogwarts Role-Play Grounds were sitting at the Hufflepuff House Table. One of them had just finished her food at sat there, arms folded and looking very bored. She was the first one done with breakfast and was eyeing the boiled egg with her eyes narrowed and a malicious smile on her face. Alicia took the egg in her hands and threw it down the table, splattering someone. That person had a shocked expression on her face and Alicia burst out laughing and threw one more. Then Headmistress Rae called her over to the Staff Table.

#1 Herbology

The Huffelpuffs were having their Herbology lesson. There was a storm raging outside and you could hardly hear any others voices. They were studying the more dangerous Venomous Tentacula’s with MASSIVE leafy tentacles. Ernie Macmillan, Justin Finch-Fletchly, Hannah Abbott and Susan Bones were one of the groups struggling to take it down. Then, out of nowhere its tentacle hit Justin with such force that he flew out of the Greenhouse right into the storm. Justin screamed and the group rushed outside and helped him up before running back into the Greenhouse looking flustered, which was now full of laughter.

#48 Leprechaun

One fine day, Ernie and his gang were sitting by the fire in their common room. They were bored so Ernie decided to “entertain” them in anyway he pompously could. So he took out his wand, muttered an incantation he’d made up and out of nowhere, a Leprechaun simply popped in front of them.

“I am at your humble service” the Leprechaun said and Ernie’s gang started laughing hysterically.
“What in the world did you do Ern?”

Outraged, it grabbed Hannah’s hair and started tugging on the plaits with all its might. She screamed and Ernie turned a mysterious pink.

#2 Muggle Studies

A stormy day was ahead of the Huffflepuffs, literally and physically. They had Muggle Studies with Alecto Carrow, the new Professor. They always dreaded her lessons, which had become compulsory. The 2nd years rushed into the classroom as Professor Carrow walked in with a rather stern gait. “Churchill, detention for coming in late!” she seemed to scream. A silent tear came down his face and he narrowed his eyes malevolently. One day she’d have the payment of her life. Carrow banged her fist on the desk and began with her usual:

“Muggles are worthless twerps who think they’re the greatest.”

#53 Chase

A Hufflepuff walked up to the girls and took a deep breath before asking:

“will you go to the ball with me?”
“Cant you see were busy?” Veronica asked.
“Sorry for interrupting your tea party” he said forcefully.
“Seems clear that Florence doesn’t want to go to the ball with me”
This time it was Florence who blushed as he walked away. She ran to him. He turned and jogged away, embarrassed as the Hufflepuff followed him. She practically had to chase him around Hogwarts before she said

“wait ….”
He finally stopped “yes, I will go” she said breathlessly.

#12 Charms

Professor Flitwick was teaching the 6th year Hufflepuff’s disillusion charms. “You see class, how easy it is?” he squeaked after a demonstration on Ernie Macmillan.

“Let me try” Harrieta Potera exclaimed eagerly. This would be revenge for the time Ernie did the Locomotor Mortis charm on her three times the other day.

She muttered a made up version of the incantation and her eyes widened with the effect. Ernie’s hair and his head was on unstoppable fire . She let out a silent cackle “oh I’m so sorry Professor” she said innocently as Ernie was taken to the hospital wing.

#57 Gape

At the ball [see #53] Colin was waiting for Florence in the Entrance Hall. He knew after tonight he would be lovesick. All the Hufflepuff Boys were waiting together in the Hall. Then, the door open and a flutter of laughter was heard as the girls came gliding out. No Florence; but her best friend Angie was there talking to an extremely beautiful girl he didn’t recognise. Angie then pointed to Colin and the girl walked up to him. He gaped noticeably; it was Florence.

“Hi”
“You look …..” Colin gaped “beautiful”

She linked her arm with his and off they went.

#98 Pyjamas

All the Hufflepuff girls were sitting around Hannah Abbot’s dorm. It was a PYJAMA PARTY! Hannah, as a Prefect, wanted some of the girls to find a bit more fun in their timetable so she handmade the funky invitations, sent them out and everyone came. There were pizza, chocolate, lollies, you name it. So there they were, sitting in a circle gossiping. Umbridge was on the topic, but then one of the girls suggested a spooky story. Just as she was about to scare the everything from the girls, the Hufflepuff [lady] ghost came gliding by to join the party.

#69 Slap

Helga Hufflepuff slapped Slytherin.
“How dare you say that I’m not worthy, Salazar”
“I never …” he retorted.
“Oh yes you just did!”
They were at a local ball along with Rowena and Godric, another one of those Hogwarts celebratory ones.
“I’ve worked hard in life to be the individual I am. And I’m still not worthy enough for the great Salazar Slytherin?!” she said and walked away.
He glared at her; she sure had attitude. He turned his eye on Rowena, who had finished dancing with Godric and walked towards her.
“Would you like this dance?” he asked passionately.

#61 Kiss

Colin and Florence were sitting together by the lake, holding hands. It was the day after the ball and Veronica and all of her other friends just couldn’t get enough of spying on them. They all seemed to think Colin was a useless lump. The two were admiring the lake and the effect the sky had created.
“Nice sunset” she said, smiling.
“Just like you” Colin replied.
They looked at each other for a while before Florence interrupted
“I know what’s going to happen, just like any other fairytale.” She sighed
“This is the part where we …”
They kissed.

#14 Hogwarts, a History

Angie was sitting with Samara in the courtyard, reading Hogwarts, a History. She was up to the part about Helga Hufflepuff.
“You know, it would be awesome if Helga was re-incarnated. The stories she could tell. The love life she could expose” Angie said. Samara whistled
“You like that stuff. Especially love lives. So expose’. Me on the other hand, I’d like to enjoy my own” she answered.

“You’re trapped in your own world, Samara” Angie laughed.
“It’s not a crime. But I do wonder what the Founders’ love life was like. Who had a crush on who?” Samara winked.
