19. Jelly Legs
Draco sat in a windowsill, unusally alone. His heart flipped when he saw a certain red-headed girl go by. She didn't notice him, and he was glad she hadn't. If she had, Ginny Weasley might have put a jelly legs curse on him. She was good at that, Draco admired a good hex, not as much as if it was cast on him though. She kept walking, her books in her arms and her bag thrown carelessly over her shoulder. Draco had a book and parchment spread out on his lap, but he had looked up when she came by. Ginny Weasley, how he loved her name. He taunted it endlessly, but he always got a chill when he said it. He looked back to his book and his parchment and took out his quill. Instead of starting his essay, Draco wrote 'Ginny Weasley' in big swirling letters. Next to her name, he put '+ Draco Malfoy'. What a girly thing to do, he realized... and crumpled up the paper. Then he wondered how 'Ginny Malfoy' might look, but didn't try it. Instead he shreaded the paper. Maybe next time he'd talk to her, like a person and not a lesser creature. Maybe next time she'd listen. Next time.

49. Wingardium Leviosa
The first time she had heard of him, it from her brother. Ginny had gotten a letter from her brother. 'Hogwarts is great, Ginny, you'll love it! Harry and I are having a great time, he says hi.' Ginny remembered smiling at that point, 'Except there're these two prats. One Gryffindor girl, Hermione Granger and this pratty boy, Draco Malfoy.' Ginny read the name aloud a few times. 'Hermione was helping me with the wingardium leviosa spell in charms...' blah blah blah. A that point she only went back to reading Draco and Harry's names a few times and mixing her first name with their last. Ginny Weasley, Ginny Potter, Ginny Malfoy... she repeated in her head, smiling. If Ron hated him, he couldn't be all that bad. Of course, at that point Ginny hadn't met him yet. Once she did, she hated him already. She met him when she was buying books already founding him and his family snobby. Cute, but rude. He had looked at her, and she thought he smiled, but realized it was a sneer. After that, he had used her... used her to open the Chamber of Secrets. She could never forgive him for that.

27. Muffliato
Draco knew it was awful to be glad that Ginny was in the hospital wing, but luckily it wasn't very serious. Gryffindor had been practicing and Slytherin had come down to the pitch, someone hexing Ginny. She would have been perfectly fine if the professors had just left her alone, but instead they tried to fix it. It didn't work well. Ginny remember it like when Professor Lockheart tried to fix Harry's broken arm. Draco followed her to the hospital wing and hid. He hid until everyone was kicked out and Madame Pomfry in her office for the night. "Muffliato." Draco mumbled, pointing his wand towards Madame Pomfry's door. Then he crept over to Ginny's cot, touching her softly on the arm. She woke up with a scream.
"What the bloody hell are you doing here?!" She yelled.
"I-I love you." Draco said softly. "I had to tell you. I love you."
"Wh-what?" Ginny asked, she was sure she was asleep. She had dreamed of this day, but it had never actually had a chance of happening before.
"I love you." He repeated slightly louder, much stronger. Tentatively, he leaned over her bed and kissed her softly. As much as she didn't want to, she kissed him back. Oh, hell, she wanted to. A lot.

15. Hurling Hex
The Gryffindor quidditch team was on the quidditch pitch practicing. Ginny was waving frantically, but Harry passed the quaffle to Ron who promptly dropped it.
"Don't be such a prat, Harry." Ginny scowled. "Forget why you're mad at me and pass the quaffle when I'm open or we're going to lose!" she hissed as her broom whizzed past his, towards the ground. She picked up the quaffle and tossed it back up into the air. Harry caught it. As Ginny started going back up, she was thrown off her broomstick. Someone had preformed the hurling hex on her!
"Ow!" she cried, and whimpered in pain. Tears filled her eyes as she turned to see who had a wand pointed at her, but she couldn't see because Draco Malfoy had punched him in the face. The Slytherin quidditch team had been advancing on the pitch, until Draco had punched the kid. They all stopped to watch the fight. Draco blushed, embarassed that he had punched someone for hexing a Gryffindor. But it was Ginny Weasley and, she didn't know it yet... but he loved her. The Gryffindors crowded around Ginny, glaring at the Slytherins and brought her up to the hospital wing.

40. Sonorus
Draco thought about it. He could tell her he loved her, again. Maybe this time she'd believe him. Though, maybe she would say it back. The last time, he had said he loved her and kissed her. She hadn't protested, though Draco wasn't quite sure she kissed him back. Draco was at the quidditch game, staring at Ginny. Someone had the sonorus charm on them and was broadcasting their voice and announcing the score of the game. Would they just shut up? Draco wondered, screaming in his head. He was thinking about Ginny and people were talking,
"And Ginny Weasley has the quaffle-" Draco's head shot up. Finally, what they were saying was useful. The booming voice was distracting when it wasn't talking about her, though. Draco watched her in awe. She was amazingly talented and oh, so beautiful. I have to tell her. Draco decided, and she has to believe me.

35. Quietus
Ginny was headed out to do her homework by the lake. She had her bag over her shoulder filled with books, parchment, quills, and ink. She went and sat by the lake, sneering at Draco Malfoy on the way. He had been sitting in a windowsil with Pansy Parkinson fluttering close to him. God, Ginny hated that jerk. Except, she didn't... Well, Ginny didn't know what she felt, but she tried not to think about it. Instead, she sat down, took off her shoes, stuck her feet in the calm, cool, water and started her homework. Only a little while later, Draco Malfoy appeared by her side. He sat down right next to her.
"Ginny, I'll be blunt. I love you." Ginny looked at him and gaped.
"No you don't, leave me alone you horrible, insensitive...!" she started screaming insults and obsenities at him.
"Quietus!" he said, and her voice quieted. She shut up and glared at him.
"Tell me you love me." Draco commanded Ginny, already knowing it was true. Ginny shook her head.
"No!" she said, trying to shout, but it was soft.
"Tell me you love me." Draco demanded again. She only shook her head.
"Not on your life, Malfoy." she croaked.
"Tell me." Ginny protested, though.
"Never."

20. Knitting Charm
Ginny wondered if her mother really knew how to knit. It was Christmas time and as the customary Weasley present, Ginny had recieved her very own sweater with a giant 'G' on it. Every Weasley had one from every year they went to Hogwarts. Mrs. Weasley always sent them, hoping her children would stay warm, and this was Ginny's first time to recieve one. She was excited for years before she would sit home and watch her mother put a knitting charm on her needles and let them knit. She pulled the sweater on and left the common room.
"What's that you're wearing? A dead animal?!" It was Draco Malfoy, go figure.
"Get lost, Malfoy." she quipped and turned away to leave. Draco watched her walk, and only rolled his eyes.
"Good insults wasted on a filthy little blood traitor." he said, but she pretended not to hear him.

11. Expecto Patronum
Ginny loved DA meetings. They helped her so much in Defense Against the Dark Arts, where she was barely learning anything anymore. Harry helped her so much.
"Ok, guys... er, today we're gonna learn, uh... the patronus... repeat after me, uh, I guess... Expecto patronum!" She sighed. Oh well, so Harry wasn't the best public speaker, but he said the spell strongly and out of his wand flew a white tinged stag. Ginny tried.
"Expecto patronum!" she shouted. It didn't work. She kept trying. By the end of the night she had gotten a sliver of silver out of her wand, but nothing more. But by the next meeting Ginny had gotten it. She showed her little fox patronus to Harry proudly.
"Great job Ginny!" he praised her. As she left the meeting, Draco came over, trying to bust the DA.
"EXPECTO PATRONUM!" She yelled, pointing her wand at Malfoy, concentrating on her happiest memory... he fell to the ground with an 'Oof!' He tried to yell at her, but lost all his wind and could only splutter. She stormed off, careful to step on his hand as she left.

6. Crucio
"C-C-" Draco couldn't say it.
"Oh, for god sakes boy!" Bellatrix pushed him out of the way, "Crucio!" Ginny watched the scene play over in her head. It had been the final battle, and Draco couldn't do it. He had almost died... but Ginny had saved him. Voldemort had turned on him, when Draco couldn't preform the illegal curses. He was nearly dead when Ginny got Harry and Hermione and Ron and while they went on to defeat Voldemort, Ginny saved Draco. She wasn't sure why... she supposed it was to help someone against Voldemort in need. 'The enemy of my enemy is my friend,' but she knew it was more then that. She knew, then, that she loved him. She had never wanted to admit it before, but she knew it now... she loved him and she could scream it to the world! Only she wouldn't, she'd keep it inside her for at least a year to come.

8. Diffindo
"Get away from me, Malfoy." Sixth-year Ginny Weasley hissed. Malfoy followed her anyways.
"Stop it! Leave me alone."
"You wish, bloodtraitor," he smirked, sending several spells her way. She blocked all of them. Draco wouldn't stop.
"Leave her alone, Malfoy." Harry said, coming to Ginny's side along with Hermione and Ron.
"You want me to pick on you instead, Potty??" Hermione was about to throw her own spell at him.
"Or how 'bout you, Mudblood?" Ginny finally turned around. Draco had gotten to her. She was about to hex him, but he hexed her first.
"Diffendo!" he said, pointing his wand at her robes. They tore off her. Ginny shrieked and tried to gather the shreds of her clothes. Hermione took off her own robes (still having a skirt, and shirt, Ginny only having underclothes) and covered Ginny with them. Draco laughed, Ron hid his head, and Harry had been gaping. Ginny glared at them all.
"I bet you wanted to see that, you pervert." she hissed and stormed away, Hermione on her tail. Ron and Harry following quickly. Ginny was crying.
"Smooth, Draco..." the Malfoy boy said to himself softly.

39. Sectumsempra
"You didn't!" Hermione gaped at Harry.
"It was an accident!" Harry was protesting.
"It was still wrong." Hermione pointed out.
"Sounds bloody brilliant to me." Ron laughed.
"Bloody sounds about right!" Hermione scoffed.
"What happened?" Ginny came down the dormitory steps hearing Hermione talk about blood.
"He used the sectumsempra! The idiot..."
"I don't understand..."
"He used a spell, on Malfoy," Ginny's face paled, "that cut open his whole body and made him bleed! I mean, it was Malfoy... but it was still wro-" *Ohno.*
"Is he ok?!" Ginny asked. Harry shrugged.
"He's in the hosp-"
"Who cares?" Ron asked snobbily.
"We should go check. And if the boys don't have heart enough to go, Hermione, we should." Ginny said, she was doing the right thing... but all she really wanted to do was make sure he was ok. The least she could do was check up on him.
"Malfoy!" she cried, busting open the hospital wing doors. He looked up at her weakly.
"Weasley?" he asked, in a croaked voice before his eyes fell closed and he was exhausted. Hermione hadn't come, and Ginny was greatful. She went over to Draco and took his hand.
"Oh, Draco..." she murmered softly.

47. Twitchy Ears Hex
"That was a great hex, Ginny!" everyone all around was congratulating her on hexing Draco. She had performed a hilarious twitchy ears hex while he was talking to his goons, and his ears had started twitching uncontrollably!
"WEASLEY!" he yelled, once Crabbe had shakingly pointed out what happened. Draco turned around and Ginny smiled at him, waving her hand flirtingly. Draco glared at her. How dare she embarass him like that. He preformed the counter curse and sent everyone off, walking up to Ginny.
"What was that for?" he hissed.
"For everything you've done. And everything you haven't." she said softly, and walked away. Draco stared after her.

50. Waddiwasi
People thought only Fred and George Weasley played tricks. Hahaha, well, Ginny had learned some stuff from them! She did live with them for fourteen years, after all! Pranks weren't really her thing though, after all, she was much better at hexing. As Draco came into the room, she decided to try it out. She smirked as she pointed her wand at a piece of gum under a desk. "Waddiwasi" she murmered, still grinning. She moved her wand quickly, pointing it right at Draco's face, sticking the chewed wad of gum right onto his nose. Ginny started laughing hysterically, while Draco tried to rip it off. "WEASLETTE!" he yelled. She only smiled in return.

41. Scourgify
"Congratulations." Ginny hissed seethingly.
"Me? You were the one who put the gum on my face!" Draco growled.
"You hexed me back! It was 'cause of you we got caught." Draco laughed.
"What are you laughing at?" Ginny demanded.
"You said 'we got caught' like we were caught snogging in a closet or something." he laughed. Ginny rolled her eyes. They were in detention with McGonagoll and she was making them clean the floors.
"Scourgify," they both whispered.
"We could still get caught for that..." he suggested, the thought made Ginny's heart flip as he walked over to her and kissed her softly.
"Don't pretend you don't like me, Ginny, I know you do."
"And you like me, too."
Then together, "I love you."

9. Disapparate
"I can apparate now. We can run, then disapparate anywhere you want to go, anywhere... I don't care. As long as we're there together." Draco said passionately. Him and Ginny were in the Room of Requirement.
"Draco, you know we can't. We have classes... everyone'll know." the name 'Draco' rather then 'Malfoy' was foreign on Ginny's tongue.
"I don't care anymore! As long as you know... as long as you know, and I know... nothing, no one can keep us apart anymore." he said, taking her hands. Ginny was taken with his romantic passion, but couldn't allow it.
"You're father... he'll kill us both, or at least me..." she reasoned.
"You're pureblood." Draco shrugged.
"According to your family, we're still bloodtraitors." she said distastefully.
"You're still pureblood." he repeated. Ginny sighed. He wasn't getting it.
"Draco, I love you, but we can't be together. Nothing allows it. I'm sorry."

45. Tarantallegra
Ginny looked longingly at Harry. She wished he had the brains to ask her, though of course... by then it was too late. Like Viktor asked Hermione, before Ron thought to it. Ginny wanted to go to the Yule Ball though, so she agreed to go with Neville, and it was so gorgeous. She spotted Draco and Pansy together and smirked. He was caught off guard when she muttered "Tarantallegra" in his direction. His feet started dancing uncontrollably, and Ginny started laughing.
"What?" Neville asked. She pointed towards Draco and Neville started laughing too.
"It's a good night." she said softly, even though the night had just barely started.

42. Silencio
"Malfoy, what are you doing?" Ginny screamed.
"Shhh!" he hissed at her.
"Tell me! Right now!" Ginny and Draco had finally confessed love for each other, and had been meeting secretly (just to talk) for about two weeks. Now Draco had grabbed Ginny by the wrist and pulled her into the Room of Requirement and she didn't know why.
"Silencio!" he hissed the spell at her. Ginny's mouth kept moving, but no more words came out. Now he pressed her up against a wall and started snogging her. She wanted to protest, but couldn't help but succumb to his whims... she kissed him back equally as passionately as he kissed her.
"Mmm..." he mumbled.

26. Morsmordre
"Morsmordre." Ginny stared at the sky when she saw Voldemort's symbol fly out of a wand. No! How dare you think it was hers?! Of course not! But she did gape at the boy's wand it was.
"I can't believe you." He hadn't noticed her there.
"No, it's not... it's not what it looks like."
"I trusted you!" she was hurt.
"I promise it's not-!"
"Just stop. I'm leaving." Ginny walked away. Draco watched her go.
"I betrayed her trust." he whispered. She was angered. How could he do that to her? He told her he was good, and he went behind her back. That evil, dirty, tricky, sly, cunning... adorably cute... GIT!

28. Nox
"Ow! Wha- who- whe-?" Ginny asked confused. Someone had pulled her into a room.
"Nox." he muttered and the lights went out. She still couldn't see him.
"Look, I'm sorry. I know... I know I was wrong." Draco.
"Very wrong." she answered spitefully.
"Very wrong," he corrected himself, "what can I do to make it up to you?" he seemed sincere.
"If you're that willing to prove you're sorry, then I forgive you." she said, amazing even herself. Draco sighed relief.
"Thank you." he said, suddenly pushing his lips on hers.

3. Braking Charm
After she had been thrown off her broom, Ginny begged her mother to get her a new one. School would be awful without it. She made sure the new broom had a good braking charm on it. She didn't test it out, but it was guarenteed to work- or her money back. The only thing that could have made this new broom sweeter would be if the Slytherin who broke her first one bought this one (he didn't). It was still the best present she could get.

4. Blasting Curse
"You wanna bet I couldn't beat you?" Ginny challenged.
"I bet I could," he told her.
"Alright, let's go then." the pair went through the steps. Bow to your partner, three steps back. Then Ginny hit Draco with a blasting curse. She won as he fell to the ground.
"Malfoy!" she cried out when he didn't get back up. She went over and bent by his side.
"Malfoy..." she whispered. Why was she upset? He was her sworn enemy... because, though she knew she couldn't admit it, she loved him.

5. Colloportus
Ginny was so mad. How could Draco do that to her? He betrayed her. She felt like slamming every door from England to the United States. She decided, instead to slam the one in the dormitory.
"Colloportus!" she yelled at it. Instead of slamming though, there was an odd squelching noise. She knew that would happen, even though she really wanted a slam. Oh well, close enough. Damn doors.

7. Confundus
"There are a few rules, first." Ginny told him.
"Name it," Draco said, "but then I got some." Ginny nodded, 'signing' the deal.
"The bumbling idiots,"
"Crabbe and Goyle?"
"Yeah, them. They look like they're under the confundus charm on them all the time. I don't want them anywhere near me. Clear?" Ginny asked.
"Yes, ma'am!" he laughed, "Now, my demands..."

23. Levicorpus
"Do it, I dare you." she challenged him. They were in a fight, as they generally were (which was fine with them both).
"Fine, I will." he told her.
"Get on with it then."
"Levicorpus!" Draco uttered the words and Ginny shrieked as she was pulled up by her leg, she struggled to keep her shirt covering her.
"Let me down this instant!" she said stubbornly. Draco only laughed at her attempts.
"DRACO MALFOY!" she yelled.
"Alright, alright, don't get your knickers in a bunch..."

25. Mobilicorpus
Who knew that Draco would faint at such a small sight of blood. He had never seemed to mind before, but then again... Ginny noticed he seemed to get softer as time wore on, pushing at him. Ginny had only cut a bit of her palm on the wall and when Draco saw it... he just fainted.
"Mobilicorpus." Ginny muttered, she'd have to take him to the hospital wing. Ginny considered hitting him into a wall somewhere, but decided against it. They were officially dating now after all.
