50. Waddiwasi

Ginny Weasley walked, hand in hand with Harry on a beautiful Sunday morning. A morning so harry and the utter antithesis of drear that it would never even cross the minds of such illustrious people about its important in the lives of characters such as Ginny Weasley, and Harry Potter.

Still, today was important, as important as any other happy memory in a not-so-happy existence could be. Harry squeezed her hand, she squeezed it back this squeeze shot back and forth was nothing compared to what was to come.

As Ginny and Harry walked up to the expanse of wall that was the entrance to the Room of Requirement something annoyingly unneeded – and what she thought was just filler came flying through the wall. Spouting gibberish about how Ginny and Harry were sitting in a tree.

“Ginny and Harry Sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G!” Peeves taunted.

Ginny glared.

Harry pulled out his wand.

Ginny, had no idea what was on her love’s mind – but waited and watched as he spoke.

‘Waddiwasi!” He called, pointing his wand at the door that appeared on the wall.

In a moments time Peeves was flying off, and gum somehow stuck up the ghosts nose.

48. Unbreakable Vow

Ginny ran her hands through her hair, slammed the book closed and sighed. Her attention not full wrapped into the art of ‘dark magic’, as really Defense Against the Dark Arts was more just dark arts now.

Today they had learned about Unbreakable vows, and she had known of them before. When Fred and George had attempted to cast one on Ron. She chuckled, and nervously looked towards the silent blipping radio, she tapped the radio and said tonights password.

“Lightning struck the Ministry of Magic and narrowly escaped” River - the codename for Lee Jordan spoke. Ginny smiled, she was glad that Harry had escaped the Ministry. She was glad her father hadn’t know he was there - he’d have gotten himself killed for him, she just knew it.

“Be careful Harry” she whispered even though she knew he couldn’t hear her, and that wherever he was - he undoubtedly wasn’t thinking of her. She was just his ex girlfriend - the girl he left for some stupid reason? Everyone in the school knew he and she had once been - and that she was his best mate’s sister. She already had a target on her back. Him leaving her didn’t even diminish it.

49. Wingardium Leviosa

Laughter could be heard from every corner of the Potter’s home. Ginny was teaching making her daughter Lily’s bed, and the young Lily Luna would roll under the sheets and hide underneath them. Her bright cheeks bright and red with happiness. “Where is my little Lily?” she asked putting her hand to her forehead pretending to look about for daughter. Her smile broadening as she saw the lump under the blankets giggle and move.

“I just can’t find her” she pretended to succumb to defeat and sat down on the bed. Hitting the lump she jumped up as the lump laughed again. “Wait? Thats not normal” she smirked, pointed her wand at the blankets with a swish and a flick the words finally left her mouth.

“Wingardium Leviosa” she laughed as she saw the blankets fly upwards and Lily roll to hide underneath them. “There you are, come on now we have to make this bed dear” she smiled. It was then that the deep rolling laughter of her husband was heard from the doorway. Her arms now about her daughter’s waist as she hugged her.

“You got home early” she smiled over to Harry and he nodded, smiling softly.

47. Twitchy Ears Hex

Ginny put her hand on her hips as her mother was yelling her voice breaking as she screamed at the top of her lungs. Her heart was breaking, Harry had broken her heart and her mother was saying it was all in the call to arms - his duty to the wizarding world. But Ginny didn’t want to hear it - he was being pulled away from her again.

“Ginny you are being ridiculous he loves you,” Molly’s face was red with anger. “He loves you you know he does” she huffed breathing out her stress and anger.

“Mum I don’t care” Ginny snapped.

Molly was obviously ticked her at her daughter, because suddenly Ginny’s ear was twitching and itching as if someone had cast a spell at her. “Mum seriously?” She snapped.

Her mother was standing there confused. “W-wasn’t me” she looked confused.

“Please give it a rest Gin, you know Harry loves you” George chuckled, “and i mean at least you’ve got an ear that can twitch” he laughed, jovially. “Gin, Harry just got promoted to Head of Magical Law Enforcement just give him a little rest before you know it you’ll be married and have kids as well”

13. Flagrate

Ginny wasn’t going to tell him how scared she was – not at all. He didn’t like her that way – obviously, if he had he wouldn’t have had let her come along to save Sirius tonight. Still, she loved him, Hermione knew that; heck, she was starting to suspect that Ron thought she might have feelings for him as well.

When the room spun around them and they ended up in different confusing places she felt like this would be the end; that the circular hall would be were she would die. But she would die fighting – fighting not only for herself but also for all wizarding kind. Fighting to see another day – fighting to have Harry Potter realize she was there. She was beautiful, and she was the girl of his dreams.

She made a note to herself to remember the spell Hermione had used – since; it was probably going to be a lifesaver at one point. Maybe tonight because each door that they had entered was now marked with a fiery red X mark.

So now the only door without one was the exit and that seemed to be where they were headed after Sirius’s demise and Voldemort’s arrival.
