Here are 50 Ficlets for Olympia Stanton, the latest of my SSRPG charries. She is my somewhat absurd Australian tree-hugging-in-your-face-protester and avid animal rights activist. She speaks her mind, is always up for an adventure and gives the warmest hugs ever... apparently.

Of course I do not, in any way, shape, or form... own any of the rights to the magical world of Harry Potter - those rights lie solely with its genius creator, J.K. Rowling.

1. Accio

"You want it? Come and get it!" Olympia called over her shoulder, her bare feet hurrying around the corner and out of the room, leading the way down the hall. She could hear the footfalls echoing behind her, the claws softly clinking against the timber floor as the form gained speed, all the while her own legs worked to keep up the pace she established.

Pushing her way through the fly-screen door, she sprinted across the front yard and hopped the fence before throwing the red object in her hand as far as it would go. A blur of black flew up and over one of the railings in the fence, in a far quicker fashion than she had as it moved to capture the object.

"WOOOOOOO!" Olympia cheered, watching as her fur-baby chased down its prized possession. A few small teeth marks were still present on her hand, a symbol of the struggle it took to extract it from the dogs jaws in the first place.

"Accio ball," she practically sang, wand cast in the dogs direction, her other hand positioned to take the catch. It was quality time in the sunshine... preferably without bite marks.

18. Incarcerous

Her voice was one with the crowd, only, possibly, a little louder. "IT'S NOT SCIENCE! IT'S VIOLENCE! IT'S NOT SCIENCE! IT'S VIOLENCE!" she chanted loudly, pushing against the barrier that had been erected in front of the laboratory for wizarding pharmaceuticals development.

"ANIMALS LIVES ARE THEIR RIGHT! WE HAVE JUST BEGUN TO FIGHT!" she chanted some more. Ugh. This was getting them nowhere. Pushing a little more rigorously against the magically reinforced barrier, Olympia finally broke through with the aid of a quick sharp blast or two from the tip of her wand. It was then that she clambered over the remaining debris – effectively elbowing a law enforcer in the face while she was at it. Whoooops. Could she bat her eyelashes at him and get away with it?

The moment she heard the incantation leave his lips, she knew that wouldn't be the case.

Ropes bound her feet and hands together, but it didn't stop her lips from moving.

"That's right! Cage me up! Do to me what you do to them! ... If you even dare!"

35. Quietus

"Sssshhhhhhhhhhhhh," hissed Olympia, as she undid the latch to the stable door before easing it open wide enough for her and her companion to steal through.

"How long do you think we have?" questioned Darcy as he lengthened his stride to catch up with her. An arm wrapping around her waist long enough to pull her in for a kiss on the cheek.

"A couple of hours at best?" she replied uncertainly.

With her AWU hoodie pulled over her head, Olympia grabbed a saddle and bridle from the tack room before approaching the first stall in the line of many. The corner stall occupied by the handsome red-chestnut Aethonan, Duke, looked to be in a state, ready for her to muck out upon their return. His whinnied greeting was met by smiles and of her own. "C'mon boy," she cooed as she led him out of his stall.

A carrot occupied him while she saddled him up, and before long she met up with Darcy at the stable entrance. After casting a quick quietus on the door and the horses hooves, they led them out only to mount swiftly before taking to the star-studded skies.

34. Point Me

She was, completely and utterly lost.

Even with her map in hand, there was no telling which way was east, west, north or south.. nor was there any way in telling which way was left and which was right, or where it was she was standing in the first place. Of all the dramas in the world!

"Faaaaaaaaaaantastic!" she muttered, giving up on the map once and for all and ditching it in the street bin as she passed, moving in whichever direction it was she was taking. She hardly cared anymore. Getting from point A to point B had never been her strong suit, but if there was one thing she was good at, it was playing the role of damsel in distress.

"Excuse me, hi there, sorry to trouble you," she started, casually helping herself to a chair outside a cafe and interrupting a conversation between two expensive looking gentleman. "Couldn't point me in the right direction could you? I fear I'm lost." She grinned brightly, the cheer in her voice reciprocated with a warm glint in her eyes. The Australian watched as the Londoners exchanged looks before leaning forward in their seats.

48. Unbreakable Vow

"Do you have your papers? Identification? Money? Do you need more money?" Kathleen rattled off anxiously, pacing the living room, a hand on her chin in thought.

"Yes, yes, yes, no and yeeeess to anything else you're going to think of," Olympia replied, kicking up her feet and resting them on the edge of the coffee table. Kathleen pushed them off in passing. No feet on the furniture.

"And you'll let me know when you've arrived?" she questioned, paused in front of her now.

"Yes Mum," Olympia replied.

"And you'll call at least thrice a week?"

"Yes Mum."

"Do you swear an Unbreakable Vow?"

"I do."

A brief silence fell between them, in which Olympia put her feet back on the table, only to have them pushed off again, and her mother pacing just as frantically.

"Mum, I'll be fiiiiiine, it'll be just like when I stayed in Syndey!... Only not." Only further, much, much further. "Besides, magic does miracles! We're not all that far away in the grand scheme of things."

50. Waddiwasi

Waddiwasi-what now?! It sounded super strange, like some kind of alien life form... it sounded foreign off her tongue.

"Are you sure that's right?" she asked, twirling her wand between her fingers.

"Absolutely, just point and have good intentions," replied the girl with a solemn nod.

"Huuuuuuuuhhhhhh..."

Olympia considered this new information for a moment, the second year casting her eyes over her surroundings. Projectiles, projectiles.... "AHA!" she exclaimed triumphantly, her wand quickly and deliberately pointing at the boot in the corner of the room. A safe projectile if ever she saw one, and with a quick but clear "Waddiwasi," she sent it flying to her room mate, the boot hitting her square in the chest.

"Oi whatchit, yeah?!" the girl exclaimed, rubbing her chest with a frown on her face.

"That's fantastic... really, fantastic."

"I said goooood, intentions," the other girl emphasised. Olympia grinned mischievously, sending her friend a wink. "Yeah, I heard you."

2. Avada Kedavra

"Gahhh! Bradon! Why do you have to be so annoying?" she yelled across the room to the figure dashing behind the couch.

"Am not!" he yelled back, unimpressed.

"Are too," she taunted in reply.

Olympia rolled her eyes before surveying the damage he'd done to her work. It was ruined!

"It was ugly anyway, there's too much red," he muttered, taking small measured steps closer to her and the placard on the floor. "You can clean it up though, use magic!" he informed before dropping to the floor beside his sister. Olympia stared at him.

"I'm not allowed to use magic outside of school..." Duuuhhh. Didn't he know anything? And there was not too much red, it was the right amount. "Do you know how much blood is shed during these hunts? It's ridiculous, and all this red is to symbolise that. So stop being stupid."

"You're stupid," he retorted.

Olympia flicked paint at his face, not caring where else it went.

"I'LL AVADA KEDAVRA YOU!" he shouted back, throwing his sparkler wand in her direction, hitting her in the face. “Oh yeah?” she replied, flicking more paint at him.

"MUUUUUUUUM!"

28. Nox

If her wand light wasn't enough to get them noticed, then her giggling was. Olympia tiptoed from the bookshelf to one of the desks and quickly slipped beneath it, sitting on the floor cross legged with her partner in crime. "It's in one of these," she trilled, pulling a modest stack across the floor.

"In one of those?" her friend questioned.

"Well I didn't think it'd actually be useful, now did I?" she replied defensively, giving her friend a nudge with her elbow. "C'mon, the sooner we start the quicker we'll be out of here."

"You're insane if you think I'm going to sit here and break curfew with you. I like my good standing, I like visiting town... and as much as I like your messed up rubbish, it's just not worth it."

"But you came anyway," Olympia replied, already flipping through one of the heavy tomes that was open on her lap. She scanned her wand over the page, letting the light illuminate its words.

They sat and worked quietly for some time, until there came a distinct sound of footsteps down the hall.

"Nox!" they cried out in unison.

49. Wingardium Leviosa

"Sssshhh, it's 'kay boy..." she soothed, her voice lower and huskier than usual.

Olympia lay on the straw bed beside the grey gelding, running a gentle hand through his mane and along his neck. She continued to soothe as the beast as he blew loudly through his nostrils. He shifted beneath her touch until after some time, he settled, his rib cage heaving with each peaceful breath it took.

She moved onto her knees, her hand moving further down to bring the wing up, slowly and gently. There was a disgruntled whinny, but the gelding stayed on his side on the stable floor.

The damage wasn't in the humerus, considering the wings range of motion wasn't hindered, a promising sign.

With her other hand, Olympia ran her fingers along the wings structure, the radius and ulna also seemed unaffected. It was only as her fingers reached the carpometacarpus that the trouble began. The joint was warm and swollen, but just beyond... "It's your second digit, love," she whispered softly, easing his wing back into resting position. A few marginal coverts fluttered from the wing break, floating in the air as if charmed before making its gliding decent.

21. Langlock

"You're in my seat," stated Bradon, clearly not amused.

"So?" Olympia replied.

Their parents sat and watched, sipping from their juices before exchanging knowing looks with one another. Hugh moved to withdraw his wand from his pocket, letting it rest on the dining table as a warning.

"Sooooo... I want you out of my seat," he said defiantly.

"No."

"No?"

"It's my birthday, I can sit here if I want to," Olympia retorted, sticking her tongue out at her younger brother and wiggling and adjusting her position on her seat – if only to rub it in a little. "You snooze, you loose kid," she added, content with starting on her pancake stack.

"You're a nasty, stupid, ugly wiiit---".... Bradon stomped his foot and flailed, his hands grasping at his mouth as if he was trying to expel something, but failing.

"You don't call your sister names on her birthday, Bradon... have some manners will you?" came Hugh's command, placing his wand back on the table, not moving to unstick the boys tongue from the roof of his mouth just yet.

"Thanks daddy."

11. Expecto Patronum

Happy memory, that's what she needed, a truly happy memory. One to fill her all up and consume her in... happiness. Brilliant. The art of producing a patronus, was far more difficult than she had anticipated, and for a long time all she managed was a flimsy wall of silver, like a shield.

Though, practice made perfect, or at least... that's how it was supposed to work.

Thursday after lunch, like clock work, Olympia left the food court and found herself an empty classroom.

Memory after memory had failed her, but there was one that she'd only recently created. And it filled her with giddiness and pride. Eyes closed with concentration, and wand poised in front of her, Olympia recited the magic words, "Expecto Patronum!" With a gentle roar and a quiver from the tip of her wand, a silver winged horse erupted from her wand. Eyes wide open now, Olympia watched as it danced around the room.

"Well that's poetic," she murmured to herself, reflecting on recent events and now this.
