Hello, Hi, HOW ARE YA? I'm Erin (if you couldn't tell from my UN

) and I am going to pay homage to my favorite little lioness, Lexi Umbridge (nee Kennedy) here with 25 Song Drabbles.

These will span her whole life... so some may be SUPER sappy. You have been warned.

And yeah... I don't own the fabulous world of HP, JK Rowling does, my brain is just happy visiting once in a while.

Nobody's Perfect

Lexi wrung her hands together as she looked into the mirror. Could she do this? Was she ready? Shaking her hands out, rolling her shoulders she brushed hair from her eyes and practiced a smile. Would anyone believe it? Likely they wouldn’t even notice her strain.

Orlando would see through her fake smiles and know what to say. But after today she wouldn’t see him all too often, would she? Her chin shook slightly as she pulled her dress robes round tight. Time to say goodbye to Hogwarts, to her friends… and hello to the future. If she didn’t fail.

Stairway to Heaven

And she's climbing a stairway to Heaven...

There were loads of things to see in Bali, but Lexi laid in the open air bed and POUTED. Nicolas wouldn’t allow her to overdo herself, as he said. It was beginning to be a total drag. SIGHS. Treyen, Kurumi, Jim, and others had come along and said their… “GOODBYES” but Lexi wasn’t ready to go just yet. Dora and Ace were her world. It was cutting her up inside at the THOUGHT of it all.

But what was she to do? She had no choice. When the MAN UPSTAIRS said it was time, it was time. Period. That’s life.

Way We Were

Memories...
Like the corners of my mind
Misty water- colored memories
Of the way we were
Scattered pictures
Of the smiles we left behind

Neptune hadn’t shown up. Lexi hadn’t really expected her to, but it hurt her more than she thought it would. Holding the package she wiped tears away before opening it. All of the pain washed away as she read the accompanying letter and opened the jewelry box.

Memories.

Tuney had sent her memories to keep and watch whenever she wanted. There was no better gift in the world that she had EVER received. Well, aside from Tune’s friendship itself. Summoning her portable pensieve over she unstoppered the first phial and dipped her face into the surface and watched her past.

Have I tried to turn this love around?

Her fingers played across the glass on the frame she was holding. Tears had long since stopped dropping. Was she over it? No. And likely it would always hurt somewhere deep inside, but she had tried so hard. And she had fought for so long to hold it all together.

Sometimes it was better to throw in the proverbial towel, though. And Merlin knows they were volatile. With a shaky breath Lexi set the photo back down and gave her boys one last look before turning to leave.

That sound? Her heart breaking to bits. Time to go for good.
