Rita frowned as she read the letter, and went rather pouty after being called up on such short notice. However, a student's head being stuck inside a Venomous Tentacula was a rather good story, so she quickly packed her Quick Quotes Quill, threw some floo powder into the fire, and disappeared in a burst of green flames.
A while later, Rita stood, beaming, before three cameras. Her quill was scribbling madly as she spoke of the mishap in the Hogwart's greenhouses.
"And so," She concluded. "Marcus Belby has been taken into extensive care at Snt Mungo's."

A bushy haired, pretty girl stood glowering at a blonde reporter. Rita sniffed and lifted her chin, before cleaning her teeth with her tongue.
"Can I help you, Miss Granger?" Rita asked, smiling in the most convincing way she could master. Hermione snorted and folded her arms, disgusted at the older woman.
"Yes. In fact you can." She replied, smirking, and slapped Rita hard across the face. "THAT'S for saying Krum dumped me in last week's prophet!" She nodded and then turned on her heel and left. Rita opened her mouth, and then closed it again. A passerby snickered loudly.

Rita stroked her chin after she had been informed of an interesting turn of events. Harry Potter...speaking parsletongue. She licked her lips happily and whipped out her quill. It was marvellous gossip! Harry Potter, the Boy Who Lived, having a Dark power. Oh! It was too much!
In no time at all, one and a half sides of parchment were filled with Rita's curly scrawl. She scanned her collum and cackled, before sending it off to be printed.
A few days later, the article was out, and was selling well. Who would have thought it? Harry Potter! A parslemouth!

Rita Skeeter folded her legs and continued to look at the Beauxbatons champion, expectantly. Fleur chewed the inside of her cheek thoughtfully, her white blonde hair shimmering slightly in the dim lit broom cupboard.
"Um, well, I theenk zat 'Arry Potter will do...well, in ze Tournement." The veela said finally. Rita smiled silkily and her quill flitted across the yellowy parchment, twisting Fleur's answer.
"Lovely." Rita cooed, popping her quill and paper away in her handbag and standing up. "That will do. If you could get Mr Krum for me..." Fleur nodded, and slipped out of the broom cupboard.

A small beetle with Rita Skeeter-ish markings on it was perched at the top of a tall pear tree within the grounds of Hogwarts. She was watching the third task with much interest, except there was one problem. She was not supposed to be there. But then again, that was where being an unregistered animagus came in handy.
But wait...were those...pears? Rita panicked at the sudden realisation that she was sitting on a pear, which she was terribly allergic too. With one movement, she sneezed, fell from the tree and transformed into the curly haired Rita Skeeter.

Rita squeeled and grabbed the Daily Prophet as a ministry owl dropped it off, early one morning. She skipped through to her collum and beamed. There it was! The story about Harry Potter, the Fourth Champion. And she had written about it.
Skimming through the paragraph, Rita screamed with laughter. Eyes swimming with the ghost of his past. Oh please! It was all for the papers, it wasn't like any of it was true! But it paid the bills, and that was all that mattered to Rita. If there was one thing better than money that came out of her work, it was cracking Harry Potter.

Rita folded her arms, a smug look spreading across her harsh features. She looked at the rusty iron and then up at the quivering old man. She smirked and made a note on her parchment.
"I'll ask you once more. Is that a regestered portkey?" She asked. The man trembled and shook his head. A satisfied smile formed on Rita's lips and her Quick Quotes Quill scribbled away madly.
"Well, well, Dedalus. You'll see you're face in next week's Prophet, that's for sure!" She tapped her clipboard, smiled nastily, and strode away, leaving Dedalus standing, open-mouthed and utterly gobsmacked.

A large, acid green quill was scribbling feverishly, as thought time was running out. A woman with tight, blonde curls was watching the scene with intent interest, and muttering instructions to the quill.
Rita smiled greedily as she watched the two Ministry Officials roll around on the dirt, tugging at each others hair. Making one final note on her parchment, Rita coughed. The two women stopped at once and looked up, scared to who met their gaze.
"Thank you ladies." Rita giggled, and walked off, leaving them absolutely astounded. Pushing her glasses a little higher, she disappeared around a corner.

A red faced, blonde haired reporter let out a scream of rage as she read the top story in the Daily Prophet. Why wasn't she informed IMMEDIATELY that two teenage boys were seen flying a Ford Angelina? She shrieked again and threw the article in the fire, which crackled feebly.
"Why, WHY?" Rita mumbled angrily, scribbling a demanding owl to the editer of the Prophet. "Why can't people INFORM me of these things so idiots like Isobelle Crawford don't write the collom instead of me?!"
Finally at the end of her tether, Rita kicked the edge of her chair, angry

Rita bit her lip. Oh the many candies, sweeties and chocolates that lay before her. She really shouldn't but...then again... She was going back to work tomorrow, but she wasn't having a photo shoot for ages. Annnnnd, oh! How she longed for sugar.
Finally, she began to stuff her face with delicious treats, until she felt ill and was looking much larger.
A while later, the editor of the Prophet sent an owl. Photo shoot tomorrow, don't forget. Rita practically choked on a chocolate frog at the awful news.

The sounds of laughter, choirs of children and the crunch of winter snow mingled with the happy feeling of Christmas. Rita walked down the main street in Hogsmeade, wrapped in her warmest cloak. Snow swirled around her face, and she pulled her scarf up, so that it covered half of her face.
Pushing her blonde curls back from her face, Rita pressed on. The sweet voices of children echooed in her ears, and it soothed her slightly. She'd had a tiring day at work, and was ready to sit down and have a butterbeer. Hogsmeade had never been more inviting.

Two women, one with curly blonde hair and a cruel smirk on her lips, the other a smug looking lady with short, dark hair and a cold smile, sat facing each other.
Rita Skeeter and Dolores Umbridge continued to eye each other with intent dislike, but Rita was the first to speak. "So, you are the new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher this year?"
"It would appear so, yes." Dolores sneered. "And I intend to bring up the standard in this school!" She said, lifting her toadlike face to the light.
"I'd like to see you try." Sniggered Rita.

A small beetle, with markings around its eyes peered up out of the jar. Hermione Granger grinned down at Rita, her eyes flashing menacingly. She placed the jar containing Rita on the table, and peered at it closely.
"Well, well, well." Hermione cackled. "Who'd have thought that the great Rita Skeeter was an unregistered animagus!" The beetle tried to scramble up the sides of the glass prison that it was being held in, but she was stuck.
"You know Rita." Hermione said innocently. "We COULD come to an agreement..." She raised her eyebrows, a suspicious glint in her brown eyes.

Rita shrieked loudly as an owl flew in through the open window and landed on her wardrobe. She went to climb out of bed, tripped on the duvet cover and fell SPLAT on her face. Cursing under her breath, she scrambled to her feet, and shuffled over to the owl. It held a letter, which Rita ripped open, scanning its contents.
"Blah, blah, blah. Booooring. Why can't I just stay in my pajamas all day?" She groaned, throwing the letter aside and crawling back into the hot pit of her bed. Ooh, those pillows had never been so inviting.

"BETTY!" Rita screeched, hands on hips and a nasty scowl playing around her thin lips. She tapped her foot impatiently, staring down at the broken mess that was scattered all over the floor. A broken glass cup.
A small house elf came bounding into the kitchen, tea cosy and all. "Yus missus?" She asked, bowing as low as she could. "How can Betty be of service, m'am?"
Rita glared and pointed angrily at the shards of glass. "Clean it up now!" She ordered, flouncing out of the room. "And then fetch me some butterbeer. No wait, make that a firewhiskey!"

Rita cursed under her breath as she tottered through the icy street. Winter was, without a doubt, the worst month of the entire year. She pulled her hat down over her eyebrows, and tugged her coat just that little bit tighter. Slowly and steadily, she edged around a group of babbling children.
EEP! It was so slippery. Rita began to walk a bit quicker, eager to get in the warm. And then, out of no where, a rather large snowball came hurling towards her. With a loud shriek, she went toppling over, as the snowball made contact with her head.

Christmas. It may be in Rita’s least favourite season, but it did mean that she received a lot of presents. YAYS! Cackling happily, she skipped down the stairs and fell to her knees beside the Christmas tree. Siiigh. It was just so pretty, with all the lights and snow settling outside…
It was perhaps two hours later when Rita had opened every present…except one. Shreds of wrapping paper littered the floor, but she stared at the last, large present hungrily. Finally giving into temptation, she ripped the paper off and gasped. It was…the biggest bar of chocolate she’d EVER seen.

Rita grinned as her quill flitted furiously across the parchment. It was delicious how she could write stories about people, with just a little time and paper. Giggling to herself, she continued to scribble more words about Albus Dumbledore. Now that the old fool was dead, she could finally print what everyone else had been hushing up for years. Thanks to Batty, SHE would sell the first book about the Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore.
With a hoot and a splash of ink, Rita screamed. An owl had flown in and…a huge ink stain was spreading across her page.
