Hello there! You are one of the lucky people to have stumbled upon my drabbles about my SSRPG character Hugo Doyle. But don't go away yet! I see you almost clicking that little close tab button... Because hopefully it will be entertaining! Post-Hogwarts

Hugo and the three year old boy apparated in a little wizarding village. It was nearly midnight. When they entered into a old, small house, Charlie tumbled over but Hugo managed to catch him in time. He brought it to his own bed and laid it there. “Uncle Hugo, I’m scared...” the boy squeeked. “Don’t worry,” Hugo replied. “It’s all going to be alright.” He stroked Charlie on his forehead and closed the window. He sealed it extra tight. “Do you want the lights on or off?” he asked Charlie. “Off.” “Big boy.” Hugo closed the door and walked downstairs.

●◆ 25. Sorting Hat ◆●
First Year

“Hugo Doyle.”

Without any expectations, Hugo slowly shifted towards the hat on the chair. Everyone was staring at him. And he was going to be a Hufflepuff. That would be really embarrasing.

He took a seat on the chair, and the hat was placed on his head. “Hmm... Difficult. Friendly, but shy. Certainly smart, but protective and a strong desire to prove yourself...”

Please not Hufflepuff...

The boy nervously looked up at the thinking hat. “I know... RAVENCLAW!”

The entire Ravenclaw table table cheered. Hugo smiled in relieve and hopped off the chair, joining his fellow Ravenclaws at the feast.

This drabble is dedicated to one of Hugo's best friends, Kurumi Hollingberry (sweetpinkpixie)
mini challenge: { cookie craze }
Third Year

“Are you going to eat them all?”

Hugo looked up from the plate of cookies to an annoyed Kurumi. “Hey, I’m hungry!” he defended, stuffing his face with another one of Kurumi’s delicious cookies.

“But I baked them for everybody,” she responded taking a sip of her pumpkin juice.

“Not everybody is growing like me,” Hugo replied with a smirk, petting Walnut who had just jumped on the table in the great hall.

“Just leave some for the rest,” Kurumi said and shot Hugo one last annoyed look before taking her books, grabbing her Walnut and leaving the Great Hall.

Third Year

With his thumb stretched out, Hugo walked alongside a dusty and quiet road. His companions were a few feet behind them, Kurumi walking with Eino and Fee with Selina.

He glanced at a truck that was slowly coming to a halt. When Hugo walked up to the truck, the window rolled open and an obviously American face appeared. “You kids need a ride?” the trucker asked. Hugo nodded and stepped forward, but doing so he heard a loud roar. “NO!” Eino yelled. “I’m not stepping into that thing,” he said, crossing his arms.

“You want to walk to Mexico City?”

This drabble is dedicated to Hugo's girlfriend, Feenella Schwarzberg (MissFeenella)
mini challenge: { all kinds of hearts }
First Year

Hugo balanced on the school broom, slowly flying up. He certainly wasn’t bad, judging by how fast he was flying in his first lesson. Gripping his broom tightly, he went a little quicker.

Now flying pretty fast, Hugo zoomed across the field and saw he blocked someones way. When he decided to go back and apologize, he finally saw her face. Hugo’s eyes widened and his cheeks became a fiery shade of red. His heart started beating faster. She was a Veela. He was sure of it.

“S-sorry...” he said to the beautiful girl, as he stared into her eyes.

Post-Hogwarts

Hugo dropped to the ground. Lily was there. With her bronze hair. The only Hufflepuff in his family. Charlie was also there, Hugo’s little nephew. His brown curles were almost covering his eyes. Lily looked scared. Hugo looked around. He was in the kitchen where he had found Charlie. “I want you to hide under that cupboard. Don’t come out until I come and get you,” Lily said. “Mommy, what’s going on?” “Nothing...” “Are we playing hide and seek?” Lily looked around nervous. “I’m not,” she replied and looked out the window. There was a lone figure strolling the street.

First Year

The classroom spinned around him. Hugo had done it. The dark wizard’s wand was still red. But the red was not from the Cruciatus curse anymore. The man looked confused at his wand which had turned into a red vine. Holding the wobbly candy, his hand started melting into a brown liquid. First his hand, and then his entire body started melting into a gooey chocolate fondue. His feet turned into a bowl and the rest of his melting chocolate body fell into the bowl, and at last, the candy wand fell into the bowl. Delicious, candy dipped in chocolate.

Post-Hogwarts

The fresh morning leaves crackled as Hugo and the eight year old boy stepped on them. On this autumn morning Hugo decided to take Charlie on a nice walk through the forest. Autumn air was filling his nostrils, and as Hugo exhaled he could see his breath hanging in the air.

Walking further, he noticed that Charlie had drifted off. Turning around, worried, Hugo saw that he was busy looking into the nothingness of an open field, stroking the air.

“What is it, Charlie?” he asked, walking towards the place where Charlie was standing so breath-taken.

“Can’t you see them?”

Fourth Year

Hugo sneaked into the common room after he received his late night owl with the book he had ordered. It was very quiet in the common room. He threw himself onto a comfy chair and started reading from the book “The Secrets of Parseltongue”. He wouldn’t stop reading until he could speak a decent sentence. He had been able to learn some German in a night, so why not Parseltongue?

After an hour of studying Hugo decided to give it a shot. “Hissssshhgahhkkabashhhiiiiii...” Hugo frowned. That wasn’t right. He threw the book away and left to the dormitory.

Stupid book.

Post-Hogwarts

The string of dragon heart was suspended in mid-air. He steadied his hand and started carefully putting the core in the piece of wood. When the two materials hit, there was a spark and some dust, as the heartstring was lowered further into the wand. Carefully mending the pieces of wand together, he felt his heart pound in his neck as the wandmaker stood beside him, looking critically at every action Hugo took. Hugo handed the wand to his master. It was a piece of art. Hugo waited in anticipation as he studied the wand.

“Well this isn’t very good...”

This drabble is dedicated to Hugo's Gryffindor friend, Selina Skylar (fanficfanatict)
Post-Hogwarts

“Welcome to the championship game: the Falmouth Falcons versus the Holyhead Harpies!”

Hugo and Charlie took a seat in the highest row. Blurs of grey and green shot across the stadium doing their intro. “Look,” Hugo pointed at the woman in the front of the triangular formation. “That’s Selina Skylar,” he told Charlie. “She’s an old friend of mine from back in Hogwarts!” He smiled and cheered. “Way to go Selina!”

The teams took their formation as the quaffle was thrown up and the players shot through the air.

“I don’t like Quidditch,” Charlie said looking sad. “Can we go?”

mini challenge: { find the snowman }
Pre-Hogwarts

“Hugey Wugey!”

The guys who were making an obscene snowman started laughing as Hugo passed them.

Ignore.

One of the guys came walking next to Hugo. “Hey! We’re talking to you!”

Hugo ignored him and walked further. The guys started laughing harder. Another guy came from a corner with a snowball at his hand, pretending to throw, then stopping.

“Just kidding, we don’t through at weirdos,” he said and all the bullies laughed.

Just as Hugo thought they had stopped, he felt an icy snowball shoved in his neck. Pretending not to care, he walked on, crying on the inside.

Post-Hogwarts

Hugo sighed as he untied his tie. He hated going to funerals. The sadness... The condolences... Just let him rest and grieve in his own way. Not to mention the burden that fell upon his shoulders when Elijah took off and he had to care for the boy. He looked at a picture of his sister and shed a tear.

He left the room and walked into Charlie’s room. “Hey buddy,” he said as he looked at the sad face. He couldn’t stand seeing children cry. As he untied Charlie’s little bowtie, the boy started to cry.

“I miss mommy...”

This drabble is dedicated to Hugo's Slytherin frenemy, Leopold O'Donald (Calezilla)
Second Year

Hugo stood there, in the dungeons, holding some socks for Leo. Why oh why did he come to the dungeons to bring Leo socks? He did not know. Right as Hugo wanted to leave the socks in front of the Common Room door, Leo appeared. In his footed dinosaur pajamas.

“Hi, Leo...” Hugo said, closely inspecting him and the glow in the dark those dinosaurs had.

“Thanks, Hugo,” the boy smiled as he kindly took Hugo’s socks.

“Nice PJs...” Hugo said in a mocking tone, but actually feeling quite jealous.

“Thanks,” Leo responded and turned around.

HUGO. NEEDED. THOSE. PAJAMAS.

Second Year

"Please don’t!” Hugo begged when Fee and him stood in front of the classroom door.

“Come on, you’re a Ravenclaw! You’ll learn stuff!” Fee said smiling brightly and took his hand. Naww, she took his hand. Now he really couldn’t refuse.

“But I HATE Arithmancy!” Hugo defended.

“Will you do it for me?” Fee asked puppy-eying him. Hugo sighed. He couldn't win from puppy eyes.

“Okay,” he said and opened the door, walked in to the room and took a seat. He looked at Fee. She was the only one who could get him through Arithmancy without falling asleep.

Pre-Hogwarts

“This is my show and tell about owls,” the boy Robby said to the rest of the class. Pointing his finger at one of the pictures that he hung up on the blackboard, next to the big letters spelling OWL, he said: “This is an owl. Owls say hoot. They live in the night and eat mice,” Robby told.

Hugo’s finger shot in the air. “They also fly around the world to deliver mail!” he said proudly not even thinking about what he just said. The whole class started laughing at Hugo.

“Hugo! Don’t interrupt Robby’s presentation!” the teacher yelled.

First Year

Sitting at a study table, Hugo hid behind his book. He was reading at the library a lot. But he wasn’t reading now. Not now SHE had entered the room, sitting at the perfect spot so Hugo could stare at her.

And she left. Hugo sighed slightly, but then he felt a light tap on his shoulder. He turned around. It was Fee.

“Whatcha reading?” she asked. “Hogwarts, a History,” Hugo responded and blushed a little. “It’s very informative,” he said.

“Oh, is that why you were reading it upside down?” she asked and giggled as Hugo blushed even more.

Post-Hogwarts

Charlie looked at Hugo, questioning. Hugo hadn’t even realized he did not automatically know this. “Just walk straight through that wall and you’ll get to the platform.”

Charlie had a confused look, but trusted him. Hugo glanced around for muggles, then walked through the barrier.

There it was. Platform 9¾, in all it’s glory. This was the first time Hugo had returned to the platform since seventh year, and from a whole new perspective. But now life could start. As he waved goodbye, he thought about the dreams he could achieve now that Charlie was going to be at Hogwarts...

This drabble is dedicated to Hugo's Slytherin friend, Katie Star (PureBlood64)
Pre-Hogwarts

“MUGGLE, MUGGLE” The guys laughed while pushing Hugo around. It wasn’t a good idea to have called them stupid muggles when he got angry at them.

“What’s wrong, Hugey-wugey? Don’t like being called a muggle?” one of the guys laughed.

Finally, they pushed him in the mud and walked off. Hugo looked up from the ground and saw a girl sitting next to a tree across from him giving him a kind smile. Hugo looked at her confused, stood up and walked off.

“Hi,” the girl said but Hugo didn’t hear her.

“I guess I’ll see you at Hogwarts then!”

Second Year

Hugo and Kurumi were studying in the library. It was snowing outside and Hugo didn’t feel like doing anything else but reading.

“That’s so sick...” Kurumi said looking at a drawing in her textbook. It pictured a scared young woman in a pile of burning wood.

“What?” Hugo asked, looking up from the chapter about when the Trace was established.

“It says here muggles used to hunt down witches and wizards and burn them alive... Why would they do that?” Kurumi asked, clearly not understanding why those muggles would do such a thing.

“Out of fear...” Hugo answered, still reading.

Pre-Hogwarts

Hugo stared at the rainbow from the forest. There HAD to be a pot of gold at the end. And the Leprechaun would gradually step aside and Hugo would have money to buy... Stuff... Driven by his Ravenclaw curiosity, Hugo walked further along the path in the golden hour sun, focusing on the rainbow that surely had to end somewhere...

Finally he stumbled upon a busy road. Those muggle vehicles were going really fast. But Hugo needed to cross the road in order to get to the end of the rainbow. He stepped further and looked up.

It was gone...

Second Year

Tonight was the night. As Hugo walked up the stairs of the astronomy tower, he thought about what he would do if it went wrong. Their friendship would be destroyed... He could throw himself off the tower... But that would be a terrible waste of such a good student. His heart started beating harder and harder in his chest...

The end of the stairs. He couldn’t turn back now. Hugo walked towards the railing and looked at the stars. This had been a special place for them. As he sighed, he felt a light tap on his shoulder.

“Hey, you...”

Third Year

Hugo opened the folder. The rest of the group looked at him quietly in anticipation.

Then he frowned, going faster through the documents in the folder. “There’s... There’s no Adam Burn in here...” he said, still going through the documents.

“Just great...” Eino muttered.

“You drag us ALL THE WAY out to MEXICO to find Adam, we steal from their ministry only to find out HE’S NOT IN THE WIZARDING SCHOOL?!” Eino yelled.

“He could be ANYWHERE. This whole trip was a WASTE!!”

Hugo looked from Kurumi to Fee. They looked sad, not saying a word, silently agreeing with Eino.

●◆ 92. Chocolate ◆●
Fifth Year

Kurumi smiled at the house elf handing her the bowl of molten chocolate. She was so nice to house elfs. Hugo didn’t quite understand that.

Hugo watched closely as Kurumi poured a little bit of chocolate into her perfect cake.

“Now you’ll want to pour a little bit in. Be subtle, because less is more,” she explained, handing the bowl filled with chocolate to Hugo.

Looking from her perfect star-shaped cake to his somewhat rock-shaped cake, he poured so much chocolate in the cake overflowed and chocolate was dripping off the counter.

“Woops... I guess more is more for me...”

Post-Hogwarts

“YOUNG WITCH FOUND DEAD”

Those four words hit Hugo harder than he had expected. Now it was official. She was dead. The prophet had made it real. The night it happened it felt like he was dreaming. Hugo still hoped that he had dreamed. That it was all a nightmare. But it wasn’t. The big letters in the headline explained it more than anything. A teardrop fell on the little picture that was included with the article, making the ink smudged and dirty. Just like his head felt from inside. For the first time the Ravenclaw was confused and scared.
