Hello, everyone! I'm Lissy and mah SS bestie, Anna Banana, and I are going to be bringing you 100 drabbles for our ship Canna, complete with lots of chocolate frogs and jelly slugs and hopefully lots of scenes that make you go AWWWWW! Some of you may be asking--what is Canna? Canna is the name we gave to the ship between our two characters, Anna Greingoth (played by Anna) and Cale Newell (played by mehhh) when we played them in the School RPG. Through these drabbles we'll give you a glimpse of their post-graduation life as well as a few flashbacks to when they were both Gryffindor Prefects.

Secret Crush

What was Cale supposed to do? NOT get herbology help just because the professor was pretty? This was his grade he was talking about; he had NO other hidden agendas…seriously!

All Cale knew was that he was NOT going to tell Anna about his crush on Bunbury. Unfortunately, he sort of lost his mind whenever she was around, and anyone with a brain could figure out what he got all jittery and blushed WAY too much whenever the redhead was around.

Seriously, he was getting help because he needed it. That was all.

At least, that’s what he told himself.

Badge Flashing

I was a fourth year, he was a fifth year---both of us brand new prefects.

I was young and bossy, he was young and…stupid. At least, that’s what I’d thought. We’d fought in Diagon Alley, and I was thrilled to flash my badge right in front of his face.

I hadn’t counted on him flashing one right back at me.

That fight was talked about for weeks afterward. I wasn’t angry at him for having a badge.

I was angry because he was my very first crush, and he hurt me in front of a compartment full of friends.

Yes or Yes?

I have to admit, I was pretty impressed with myself. It was a bold and daring move, sure, but it worked, didn’t it?

I remember I was trying to find the CUTEST way to ask her out. Girls like cute, right? Finally, after hours of pondering the matter, I came up with a definite winner, and I wrote her a note and slipped it to her at a party.

I know, I know. It seems a bit immature.

The note asked her if she would be my girlfriend. She had two options—yes and yes.

Told you it was cute.

“Nothing good will ever come of this!”

I nodded as I listened to my friends complain about the boys and girls of Hogwarts being separated and sent to different schools. “I’m just happy I was saved from perfecting with that awful Cale Newell!”

They all laughed. I laughed with them.

At night, though, as everyone slept, I sat by the window and wondered if he was alright. I wanted him to be happy, but I had no idea why.

They say that absence makes the heart grow fonder.

I can think of one good thing that came of the separation…

Denying the Truth

Cale knew he shouldn’t be feeling this way about Anna, not when he was sort of in a relationship already, but he couldn’t help it.

Cora was a sweetheart and had been the perfect girl to get him out of his anti-dating attitude after Faye broke up with him. No matter how he tried to deny it though, he was falling for Anna Greingoth—his co-prefect and one of the bossiest girls on the planet.

It was not fair to Cora to keep up this act. He had to end it with her.

Anna Greingoth completed him. Simple as that.

Kiss and Tell Fell

It was awkward and embarrassing, but it was also one the sweetest, most loving moments in my life.

We were at Madame Puddifoot’s on our first official date. I think we both knew what was about to happen.

What we didn’t count on was his shirttail getting stuck in the tablecloth, attaching him to our table. When he leaned in to kiss me, he took the entire table with him, and we both ending up crashing to the floor.

We laughed it off. Then, after he bumped his head on the upside down table, we finally shared our first kiss.

Unexpected Secret Admirer

I had never been faced with a situation like this before. All those dating books couldn’t prepare you for a situation like this.

It wasn’t really—NORMAL for a house elf to like a human, was it? Cause I was sure that Beezley liked me more than an average house elf should.

I knew that Anna had no reason to get upset. It wasn’t like I was going to leave her for the elf! Still, I knew the conversation would be…awkward to say the least.

“Hey, Anna, can we talk really quick?”

“Sure!”

“So, you know that one house elf…?”

Ten Things I Hate About You

It happened in Charms class.

The professor was teaching us to levitate by having us float water balloons over a partner's head. Of course Cale and I were partnered up...which wasn’t really good considering we had recently split up.

I was supposed to float the water balloon over his head without letting it fall. I was doing pretty good, too---until I started thinking about the ten things I hated about him.

SPLASH!

I grinned wickedly as the water balloon fell, splashing its contents over his head. "Oops," I remember saying. "May I try again?"

…and she let me!

Detention in the Dungeons

Professor Truebridge is an EVIL EVIL MAN.

It was bad enough that he made us kiss a wall smeared with chicken grease. Even thinking about the incident makes me gag! But no, he went another step further and tricked us into thinking he’d slipped truth potion into our drinks. So naturally, we spilled the beans without really needing to. Cause we THOUGHT we had to, you see.

I guess it kind of helped us in the long run, but it still confirmed two things for me—Plymouth Morgan cannot be trusted around Anna.

And Truebridge is evil. Like I said.

Careful

"Oh, I’m only kissing," Anna blurted out, saying the word she was thinking rather than the work she’d meant to say. "Uhh…I mean, kidding."

She glanced quickly away to hide the fact that she was blushing. She was hoping Cale hadn’t caught her little slip of the tongue, but she was sure he had! She’d have to be way more careful with hiding this little crush of hers.

"Uhh, I gotta go," she quickly said, scrambing to her feet and heading toward the door to the broomshed. "Be…careful," she added, giving him a quick hug before disappearing into the night.

Turn Back Time


If Cale had a timeturner, he’d go back in time and stop himself from arguing with Anna. Then he’d never have to bother giving SETH PATON a second thought.

Unfortunately life did not work that way.

Of all the people…SETH? He was…uggh! Cale wasn’t JEALOUS of him. Anna was obviously using him, so he had no reason to be jealous. And he had awesome hair. But so did Cale. So he was NOT JEALOUS.

He had to get back of course. If she was going to stoop to that level, so could he.

Hmmm, that one Slytherin girl could work…
