45. Touch the Torch

"What is that torch thing?" Ron asked his father who was playing with another muggle object he brought home.

Looking over his shoulder, Arthur saw the 'torch' Ron was talking about, "It's a lamp, not a torch." At least that's what he thought it was called.

"But it lights up..like a torch!" Ron said excitedly, walking over to it.

"It may seem like one.." Arthur's voice was drowned out by the sound of Ron's scream. Quickly turning to his son, Arthur saw that Ron's hand was on the very hot bulb.

"Would you touch a real torch like that!?"

50. Boggert

"Muuuuum!" Percy cried out to his mother, "Make him stopppp!" He was being chased in a circle by Ron, who had his finger way up his nose.

Coming out of the kitchen, Molly could only shake her head at the sight. Boys. Why couldn't she have girls? "Ronald! Get your finger out of there!"

Stopping in his tracks, Ron plopped onto the ground, finger still up there digging.

With one final pick, Ron extracted the finger and held it up to his brother, who was just disgusted, "I told you it was a boggert."

It did scare Percy, after all.

74. X-tinguish

"Fire!" Malfoy's voice screeched through the Great Hall.

Not spotting any sort of fire, Ron ignored him. He figured Draco just wanted to scare him, but it was not happening.

The Slytherin table erupted into silent giggles as Draco slowly made his way over to the Gryffindor table, and stood right behind an oblivious Ron. How could he pay attention to anything when there was a pile of food on his plate?

Drawing his wand, Draco pointed it to Ron's hair, "Aguamenti!"

After Snape pulled Ron off of Draco, he smirked, "He was only trying to x-tinguish the fire, Weasley."

18. Whomping 'Willow'

Ron never liked when he had to de-gnome the garden. He knew the gnomes taunted him when his back was turned. He never knew what they were saying exactly..he doesn't speak gnominese.

Although once, he was sure he heard a gnome introduce itself as Willow. He didn't know gnomes had names either.

Surprise, surprise.

Bending down to examine this named gnome, the little thing had jumped up and bit the boy right on the nose.

Using his fist like a mallet, Ron whomped 'Willow' right over the head.

He kept whomping Willow until it ran out of the garden.

14. Hogwarts, A History

"Really?" Ron asked with eyebrows raised. This was news to him and he was intrigued.

"Yes." How could Ron forget writing that? He was a git, and Hermione would play along. "I read about it.."

She was cut short by Ron digging in her schoolbag and pulling out a book, "In Hogwarts, A History?"

Of all the books to pull out, he picked one on History. Grabbing the book from him, she shook her head, "Ron! You wrote that on your homework!"

Well, of course she did. Only Ron would write Bundimun secretion could be used to wash Snape's hair.

53. Chase

"AHHHH!" Ron's scream rang through the house. Mrs. Weasley's voice was not far behind with a few screams of her own, "Get your behind in that tub!" The boy did not want a bath, which was the reason for the chase around the house.

"Ronnikins," Mrs. Weasley taunted, "I seeee you."

That was enough for Ron to jump out from his hiding spot behind the couch and try to charge past his mother. Molly held the towel to her side and waved it around like a matador. She caught the boy in mid-charge and wrapped him up.

"Bath time."

"AHHHHH!"

3. Transfiguration

Transfiguration was just not for Ron. He could never fully change his hedgehog into a pincushion, and somehow, the hedgehog would always seem to run away.

Ron had no idea that Harry was the reason behind this, and he was just getting ready for what would be the funniest thing ever!

As Ron went up to McGonagall to request another to practice on, Harry placed the 'runaway' hedgehog on Ron's stool.

He wouldn't notice!

Ron returned upset that he couldn't get another to practice on and slumped down on in his seat.

"Professor. I found my hedgehog."

And it hurt.

91. Future Facial Hair

Ron used to sit in front of the mirror for hours. He would sit there and wait, for it would happen one day, and he knew it.

Even at the age of seven, Ron could not wait to be a man. He wanted facial hair!

Mr. and Mrs. Weasley caught him doing this one day, and decided to show him what he would look like with facial hair.

Enchanting the mirror, they sat Ron in front of it, and the boy waited.

Slowly a handlebar moustache appeared on his face, and he screamed. "Geddit off me!"

Ron didn't like it.

90. Present

Out of all the Weasley children, Ron took the longest to say his first words. It wasn't his fault, he just really didn't want to talk.

Not that he would have anything interesting to say, he was only a baby!

It was on the night of his first birthday and the family had just got done singing and eating cake when it happened.

Everyone gathered around the boy as he opened and closed his mouth, and they all knew it was time. Standing around him cheering him on, Ron opened his mouth one last time and spoke..

"Gimme present!"

Mwaha!

22. Kneazle

"Crookshanks! Noooo." Ron pointed his finger at the kneazle. Just because he was bigger than Pig, didn't mean he could pick on him.

If you would call it that..

Slowly, the kneazle lowered his paw, and turned away from the owl. Ron let out a sigh of relief that he wouldn't have to tear them off each other.

Couldn't they get along!?

Now that Crookshanks wasn't allowed to bother the owl, he had his eyes on a much bigger bother; Ron.

Hopping on the man's lap, the kneazle sunk his teeth deep into Ron's hand.

"Hermione! Crookshanks bit me!"

"Again?"

2. Muggle Studies

Everyone knew Mr. Weasley always wanted to know how airplanes stayed in the air. Ron knew this especially, and that was the reason he had decided to take Muggle Studies.

Well, Ron had no idea he would be learning about all these other things as well. How muggles got along without magic was a mystery to him.

He just didn't understand.

Ron went home for Christmas that year, and his father was full of questions for his son. "So, son. How do airplanes stay up?"

Ron shrugged his shoulders, "Magic."

He wouldn't tell his father he had dropped that class.

31. Dress Robes

When Ron had received the package that held his dress robes, he couldn't believe it. Why did he have to open the package in the Great Hall where the whole school could see?

More importantly, how was he going to impress the ladies wearing those hideous robes?

It just couldn't be done.

Taking the package up to the common room, so he didn't have to face anymore embarrassing remarks from the students, Ron got to work cutting the lace off the sleeves and collar.

Holding it up to the mirror, he shook his head.

They looked better with the lace.

57. Gape
April Fool's challenge

Ron stood in front of the Professor's desk with his mouth agape. Not only shocked, he was also confused, and it was evident by his expression.

"Mr. Weasley, I said April Fool's. Go back to your seat. Now." Professor Snape smirked as he shooed the boy onward. How Ron thought he had received an O on his exam was almost enough to make the man smile.

Nodding slightly, Ron walked back to his seat, more confused than before. How he heard Snape use the words April and Fool's in the same sentence was enough to make him run away screaming.

69. Rabbit Slap

Being muggleborn, Hermione wanted her children to grow up learning muggle traditions. For example; Easter. She was used to having the Easter rabbit come and deliver her sweets.

Ron on the other hand, had no idea what the Easter rabbit was.

Dressing up one year, he donned the whole suit, cottontail included.

Rose and Hugo were asleep, and Ron, now too into the Easter spirit hopped into the children's bedroom, carrying baskets of sweets.

"Happy Easter you two!" he exclaimed standing over the children as they slept.

Hugo was the first to wake and slapped his rabbit father.

"Loud rabbit."

52. Bore

"She's a bore." Ron whispered to Hermione as they stood over the crib that held a sleeping Rose. She was always sleeping, and Ron just wanted to play with her.

"Ron!" Hermione whispered back, and gently slapped his arm, "She is a baby, what do you expect her to do?"

Ron shrugged. He didn't know what he expected actually. He just knew he wouldn't have long to play with his daughter, for she would be all grown up before he knew it. He had to play with her as much as he could now.

"Can't we just wake her up?"

82. Careful

"Do be careful, Robert!" Professor Slughorn told Ron as he made his way around the classroom.

Since his name was not Robert, Ron easily ignored the man. He didn't know the Professor was talking to him. Ron continued to add his ingredients for he only had one thing on his mind; the phial of Felix Felicis he could possible receive.

Quidditch tryouts were coming up and he needed all the help he could get. Even if his best friend happened to be Capt--

BOOOOM!

Ron didn't even get to finish his thought when his cauldron exploded.

"Robert! I said careful!"

16. Dragonhide Gloves

Bam!

The sound of an unconscious Neville hit the floor of the greenhouse. Professor Sprout was not worried, for all her years of teaching, she had seen students hit the floor harder than that.

Sighing, the Professor pointed a finger at the snickering Weasley, "See if he is alright."

Placing his potted mandrake on the table, Ron made his way over to Neville and bent down beside him. He seemed to be alright, just..unconscious. "Neville! You alright?"

No answer.

Taking off one of his drangonhide gloves, Ron slapped it across the unconscious boys face. "I said are you alright!?"

13. Quidditch

Ron was thrilled when Hugo reached the right age to be taught how to play Quidditch. Teaching his son how to play was much better than teaching his daughter. Rose was always trying to catch butterflies instead of the snitch.

Typical girls.

Sitting atop his broom, Ron held Hugo in front of him and kicked off the ground. A few giggles escaped Hugo as the wind blew in his face.

"Okay, Hugo. Now here is where you.."

Ron was cut short when Hugo seemed to be distracted by something shiny.

Was it the snitch..already?

No.

It was a butterfly.

86. Daring

To say Hermione was embarrassed would be an understatement. She had clearly remembered telling Ron to pick out something dashing to wear to her parents house.

She remembered for she is Hermione, and she never forgets anything.

She would have never expected Ron to show up to her parents house wearing none other than one of her dresses. A dress that showed a little bit too much leg, and on him, well, showed a little too much of everything.

Pulling Ron to the side, Hermione hissed in his ear, "What are you wearing?"

"You did say to wear something daring."

85. Snappish

Getting rid of turtles at the Burrow was much easier than gnomes, for turtles can not run. Ron never had trouble picking them up.

Until he came upon a snapping turtle.

Not knowing the difference between normal and snapping ones, he went about collecting it the same way. Picking up what seemed to be the biggest turtle ever, Ron stuck his finger close to it's head. He liked to watch the turtle hide in its shell.

But this turtle was not hiding in her shell. Opening her mouth wide, the turtle bit down on the pointed finger.

"Oi! You're snappish!"

72. Vex

Ron's singing always vexed the people around him. It wasn't the fact that he couldn't sing, even if he really couldn't, it was mostly over his choice of song.

Sitting at the Burrow, tired of the awkward silence, he cleared his throat and started to sing.

"The bristles on the broom go SWISH, SWISH, SWISH! The bristles on the broom go.."

Before he had a chance to finish, the broom that was sitting very unnoticed in the corner, was suddenly whacking him over the head.

"Ow."

Well, that wasn't how the rest of the song was supposed to go..

"SWISH!"

56. Fight

"They are at it again." Molly Weasley snickered to Arthur one day in the sitting room. There was no mistaking the fight going on in four year old Ron Weasley's bedroom.

"Shall I separate them this time?" Arthur asked, trying his hardest not to laugh. Ron could yell and scream all he wanted, and it was still funny.

"No," Molly replied, "give him a few more minutes."

Arthur waited a few minutes before he went to separate the quarreling boys.

"Ronald, fighting with your reflection again?" Arthur asked, very amused.

Ron nodded and pointed to the mirror, "He started it."

88. Sweet Tooth

Little Hugo Weasley was..something.

The boy of three was HYPER. He would spend his time running around the house, never seeming to slow down or tire for that matter. Hermione had hid all the sugar products away from him, casting charms on the cabinets so there was NO way for him to get to the sweets.

Why was the boy was so hyper then?

Ron, of course!

While Hermione would be tending to the household chores, Ron would sneak to the cabinets and hand Hugo a few sugar quills.

No need to rid the boy of his sweet tooth.

55. Egg On

"Do it."

"Doooo iiiiit!" Fred and George egged on Ron, giving him a little shove so he was standing riiiight in front of their sleeping Great Aunt Muriel.

"Fine." Ron said, and with a disgusted expression on his face, he glanced at the table next to the chair the woman was sleeping on. Gross. With a deep breath, he picked up the woman's teeth and shoved them in his mouth..

The laughter that erupted from the twins woke Muriel up, and with one look at Ron, she started to laugh as well. "You know you have broccoli in your teeth?"

30. Feast
New Beginnings Challenge

It was decided.

A new term meant time to do things differently. Ronald Weasley was not a child anymore; it was time for him to start acting like the adult he was becoming.

And these changes that he promised himself he'd make, would start as soon as he arrived at the opening feast. He was rather excited for this change, and found it hard to sit still during Dumbledore's speech.

'Any second now,' he thought to himself, 'I'll be a changed person.'

That's right. As soon as the food arrived, he was going to eat the pudding..
