#35 - Pureblood

Adam sat in the Slytherin common room, questioning his bare knowledge of the place. Why had he been sorted to Slytherin? He wasn't cunning or sly. Mis mom, April, told him it was because he was Pureblood, but he didn't think it was reason enough to be chucked into this supposedly evil House. A bunch of his friends were "Pure" and were in Ravenclaw or Gryffindor. Then again, he was raised to be proud of his heritage, always told by Grandad that it was a privelage only given to those who where destined to be powerful. But still... why him?

#78 - Worried

"Now, I don't want you to be overwhelmed."

Adam's mother, April, tugged a little at the Hogwarts school robes she was making for him. "It'll be a lot different than Beauxbatons. Stay close to Ameliah, mind you. She knows her way around-"

"Mom, I'll be fine!" Adam groaned. "I'm fifteen, you'd think I'd be a little more trusted by now." He was always worried on by his mother, and a worried mother was the most annoying thing is his opinion.

April bit her lip as she hemmed the sleeves. "I know... I just want you to be comfortable is all."
