100 Drabbles for Jayden Troutwater - Sa13+ Oh hai (; My name is Beth..and as you can see I have joined the challenge to make 100 Drabbles for my SSRPG character, Jayden Grace Troutwater. <3 A little bit of info: For those who don't know, Jayden is the daughter of William and Adele Troutwater Disclaimer: The Harry Potter Universe and everything in it belongs to the wonderous J.K. Rowling. Charrie Mentions: -Caelius Ashdown (Toujourspur) #61, #62 -Elliot Morganzo(kayquilz) #35 -Jordan Macey(Curlypotter14) "Hey there" Jayden called out to her boyfriend Caelius, her teeth chattering noisily. "I do believe a 'Merry Christmas' is in order." He announced, picking her up and twirling her around playfully. "Put me down!" She giggled, making a face. “As you wish, darling.” He responded with a chuckle, setting her down and planting a kiss on her temple. “You goober, it’s amazing your guardians handle you so well.” And with that she tackled him, throwing them both down onto the snow covered ground. “Merry Christmas, Jay,” He murmured, planting a soft, feather-like kiss on her lips. Merry Christmas indeed. |
Jayden was walking around the Hogwarts grounds, her black tresses bouncing as she moved. “Ahh… the smell of freshly mown grass, ” she breathed, taking in the smells around her. Suddenly, an even more familiar Amortentia reached her nostrils, the smell of Cael’s cologne. “Why hello there Mr. Ashdown,” She called out, letting him know that she knew that he was around, trying to sneak up and scare the daylights out of her. She felt his arms wrapping around her waist as she leaned back to look up into his mossy green eyes. “To class then?” She asked. “To class….” |
Finally, it was time. This was it, the big moment. Time for sorting. "Troutwater, Jayden." A female voice called out, beckoning her to the front of the room where the stool and hat waited for her. She sat down, the chair was cool and hard against her back. "I see what's in your mind Jayden, cunning, wit, and bravery. Any house would be happy to have you, but which one... you are destined to do good things with your mind.... it better be.... RAVENCLAW!" The hat blurted out, its final words echoing inside her head. Ravenclaw. She was a Ravenclaw. |
“I don’t really see what the big deal is, Elliot.” Jayden sighed, rolling her eyes. “I mean sure, I’m a pureblood, and Cael’s a pureblood but I’m sure I’d love him just the same if he was a muggle born.” She sighed, crossing her legs and folding her arms across her chest. Elliot could be so… stubborn sometimes in the older traditions. “Oh Jayden,” Elliot chuckled, a look of pure horror on her face. “Blood status seems to affect everything these days. Perhaps when you’re older and more educated you’ll understand.” The girl smirked, her eyes flashing mischievously. Oh Elliot. |
“Arrruuummmph!” Jayden groaned as she dropped her mountain of school books down on the study table. The homework was becoming so tedious, she barely had time to herself! “Alright Jayden, focus, ” she mumbled to herself as she worked her hair up into a tight bun. If only Cael or Elliot were around, homework probably would be going faster. But alas, Elliot was still angry with her and Cael seemed to be frequenting the common room with his presence a lot less. “Boys…” She sighed, eying the pile of homework that never ceased to come to an end. Homework. Hmph. |
"Roar!" Jayden bellowed, giggling at her baby brother as his face formed into an 'O' shape. "Oh! Too funny! Mother, look at Nick! Isn't he just sweet?" She smiled, her blue eyes shining with glee. At first she had been worried that her parents wouldn't have any time for her when baby Nick was born - but things were better than ever now! Everyone was just so.... giddy. "Roar Nick! Roooaaaaaarrrr!" She laughed, kissing him and blowing raspberries on his exposed baby belly. Living with a baby in the house was hard, but times like these were the best. Roar. |
“Oh Merlin.” Jayden mumbled to herself as she entered the Potions classroom. A horrid smell filled her nostrils immediately upon her entrance. “Oh gross!” She groaned as she sat down. Hopefully this time class wouldn’t be quite so… tedious. Potions was never really her thing . “Now, where’s my book? I never seem to be able to find the bloody thing” She grumbled, rifling through her bag in search of her book, quill, and other various supplies. “Alright, I have everything; now to focus on not blowing anything up. Maybe we will make something to cover up the stink.” Hmph. |
Jayden skipped into the Herbology Greenhouse, a smile stuck on her face. The girl loved Herbology, working with plants just gave her such bliss. It truly was her calling. "I wonder what we are going to be doing today.." She mumbled, sitting next to Elliot. "Hopefully something that's not dirty.." She heard Elliot grumble. That girl could be so... negative sometimes. Or maybe Jayden was just weird. She loved digging up dirt after all.. and to some that wasn't considered normal. Oh well, no matter. It was Jayden's hobby after all. Not theirs. Hmm... now where were her dragon-hide gloves? |
Jayden skipped out of the common room, humming a cheerful tune as she descended the staircase. “Oh No!” She shrieked as she tripped on her teen sized footy pajama leg before she hit the ground with a resounding THUMP! “Ugh! Stupid footy pajamas! Merlin’s beard I could have diiiieeeed!” She grumbled, eying her clothes with irritation; her cheerfulness was now being replaced by anger and embarrassment. Luckily, she hadn’t been spotted falling by Caelius or Elliot. Had they seen her, they probably would have teased the Mickey out of her. Surely they would have, she could see it now! Stupid Pajamas. |
Jayden sighed, reaching helplessly for her embroidered hankie that she had gotten last Christmas as a gift from Elliot. “Merlin, could this allergy season get any worse?” She whined, taking a deep breath in before blowing into the kerchief with a satisfying HONK. Her fellow housemates were giving her looks of terror with every blow. “I promise that I’m not contagious you guys, just allergic to something in the air!” Of course, none of them were going to believe her. She took another deep breath in. Peasants. All of them. Every. Single. One. Well, at least her hankie was pretty. |
Jayden entered the Muggle Studies classroom with the look of someone on a mission; because well – she was on a mission. Get in. Learn. Get out. Simple. Why focus on a class that she didn’t really need to take? She’d spent time with the Muggles before; she knew how they lived their lives. This class was just plain irritating. Sure, it was helpful to know some things about the Muggles, especially if one wanted to work at the Ministry as she intended to. Still though – why waste time learning about people she was barely going to have to interact with? |
Jayden sighed, resting her head on her pillow as tears slowly streamed down her face. It had been two months since her breakup with Cael. Why was love so intense? Why did everything have to hurt so much? Even Elliot was at a loss of what to do to boost her spirits - not even hand me down dresses or chocolate treats and tea were going to help. She could only hope that the heartache was going to heal with time. “Uuuuuughh” She whined, getting out of bed for the first time that weekend. “Stupid boys, they just ruin everything!” |
