This story is called Please Stay With Me and it was written ages ago. The first time my friends read it, they cried. I don't know why. But it's my first One-shot on SS, and also, incidentally, the first one shot I ever wrote.
He was there, split into two. His heart was ripped to pieces. He was just inches away from the girl whom he loved, who was slowly but steadily losing her life.
‘Ginny, no! Wake up Ginny,’ he said, shaking her gently. Her eyes were closed, and he couldn’t hear her breathing, couldn’t see her breathing. ‘Ginny, please, baby, wake up,’ he cried, stroking her flaming red hair.
She didn’t move and he cried out in horror. He stood up slowly, shakily, his platinum blonde hair stuck to his head by perspiration from the final battle. He turned to Voldemort, the one who had killed Ginny.
Harry Potter, standing a few feet away, looked at him in surprise. The boy nodded. ‘AVADA KEDAVRA!’ they both shouted at the same time. One wouldn’t kill Voldemort, two did. As he cried out in horror, he sent one more curse out, the curse that hit Harry.
‘Harry!’ yelled Hermione from the other side of the graveyard. She ran over to his unmoving body. ‘No, please, this is all a bad dream, I’ll wake up any moment now,’ she whispered. She bent over his dead body, and gently lay down next to him, pressing her face into his jet black hair, closing his emerald green eyes that were still open in surprise.
The boy looked at the scene in disgust. One man was the reason all these people were upset. Slowly, he turned back around to Ginny. What had he expected? That now her murderer was dead, she was going to come back to life? That wasn’t the way this life worked.
He swallowed and surveyed the scene, then slowly walked over to Ginny. ‘Ginny, I’ll never forget you. You made me see not everyone is bad, you helped me find myself,’ he cried, breaking down.
Hermione looked up. ‘She’ll know she helped you, she’ll always be with you, you know? She’s always gonna be watching over you, Draco, for ever and always,’
Draco nodded. ‘I love you Gin, please, stay with me, watch over me…’ Well, I know the pairing is something that would never happen, but I've got one for every pairing in Harry Potter and this just happens to be the first one I've put up. Hope you've enjoyed! Lena xXx
