Are you ready for another post?

The whole day, Jamie refused to look at Alicia. He swapped seats with Harry and Ron in all his lessons where he sat next to Alicia. Hermione spent most of her time trying to keep Alicia calm. Everything seemed to set her off crying. She kept shooting looks at Jamie but he ignored them, preferring to start talking to Harry or Ron.

"Alicia, just calm down!" Harry said as she burst into tears again. Jamie paused on the stairs before continuing. "You two are always arguing... This will just pass over and you'll make up like you always do!" Ginny hugged the crying girl.

"It's okay Alicia... Shh..." She said, looking round the room for the red hair of Emily. She was nowhere to be seen.

"Emily's gone to meet someone" Hermione said, sitting down on Alicia's other side. Ginny nodded and looked down.

The others tried to calm her down for ages. At about one o'clock in the morning, the portrait hole opened and Emily ran through the room. Alicia sat up and watched her go as footsteps sounded down the stairs.

"Can we talk? Alone?" Alicia nodded quickly, Ginny squeezed her shoulders before dragging Harry away. Hermione patted the girls' knee before leading Ron away.

Jamie sat opposite her and looked down at his feet. Alicia's lip trembled before she looked up at his face.

"What is it, Jamie?" She said, her voice was shaking. He looked up at her tear stained face and nodded.

"Alicia... Ali- I'm so sorry!" He said jumping up and hugging her tightly. She started crying again. "I take back everything I said! I love you and I need you! I'm so sorry!"

"Jamie! I'm sorry too! I don't hate you, I don't! I love you too!" She cried, kissing his face and neck as tears poured down her face.

"Let's put all this behind us... Forget about Malfoy... You and me... Now and forever!" He said and she nodded before she gasped and looked up at him.

"Malfoy! Emily! I've got to go and speak to Emily!" She said quickly, standing up.

"I'll wait here for you, babe" Jamie smiled, kissing her before walking over to the others.

"I'll be right back... Ginny- DON'T HIT HIM!" She said as she ran up the stairs.

Hello Abi, Great little post. I'm so sorry! I can't believe I did that! I went to bed and closed my eyes then jerked them open again. "Did I just call Jamie, Jason? Surely I didn't!" But, I surely did. Don't let that reflect badly on your story. It's just me staying up too late at nights and getting up too early in the mornings. I'm really sorry. Your writing is great and thanks for sharing your secrets, but I doubt you make any mistakes on them. You both know each others characters so well. It really works.
I'll be watching for the next post. Oh!!!!!!!!!! And I'm so happy for Jess and Jason (teasing) Jamie!

Alicia walked through the door to the dormitory and glanced around. Emily was lying on her back, staring at the ceiling. She was playing with the heart pendant that Alicia had given her. She sighed loudly as Alicia sat at the end of her bed.

“Spill,” Alicia said quietly.

“Well, he said he likes you. I don’t think he’s going to drop any of this, Ali. You might want to watch your back and try to avoid being alone. He might try to corner you and what not,” Emily said quietly.

“Anything else happen you want to talk about?” Alicia asked.

“Not much.” Emily paused before she told Alicia everything. “And then he left,” she whispered as she finished the story.

“I’m sorry, Ems. He’s an idiot, and he doesn’t deserve you,” Alicia said. She patted Emily’s knee and smiled slightly.

“Anything new with you?” Emily asked.

“Well, Jamie and I broke up,” Alicia said quietly.

Emily gasped loudly. “What! Why didn’t you say anything? And here I was going on about my problems! Ali, I’m so sorry, are you—” Emily rambled.

“But we got back together,” Alicia interrupted.

“Oh,” Emily said, lying back down. “You should have started with that part,” Emily said. Alicia laughed lightly. “What happened?” she asked.

“We got in an argument about the entire thing, and we both shouted that we hated each other,” Alicia sighed.

“Oh, I’m sorry I wasn’t there for you,” Emily whispered.

“You were a bit busy with your own problems,” Alicia chuckled.

“When do you think this necklace will start working?” Emily asked with a chuckle.

“Maybe it already is working,” Alicia replied with a smile. Emily looked at it closely, wishing it would bring a certain blonde to her. “It’s not going to pop him out of thin air,” Alicia giggled as she read Emily’s facial expression.

“Oh, shut it,” Emily giggled, throwing her pillow at her.

Alicia shielded her face with her hands and caught the pillow. “You are so on,” Alicia smirked. She took hold of the pillow and started hitting Emily with it.

“Hey!” Emily exclaimed. She grabbed her other pillow and started hitting Alicia with it.

“I want in on this!” Hermione laughed from the doorway, Ginny right behind her. They both picked up pillows and started hitting anybody in their paths, laughing uncontrollably.

After a fifteen-minute pillow fight, Emily, Alicia, Ginny, and Hermione collapsed on the floor, breathing heavily.

“If I didn’t know any better, I would say you two have your personalities on shuffle,” Hermione laughed as she glanced at Emily and Alicia. They all started laughing.

“Do you think the guys are still up?” Ginny asked.

“Why? So you can go be with Harry?” Emily laughed, adding kissing noises to the end.

“I'd be quiet if I were you unless you want to be hexed!” Ginny said, blushing intensely. She threw one last pillow in Emily’s direction, but Emily just caught it and slid it under her head.

“Bring it on, red! And thanks for the pillow,” she giggled.

“Anytime,” Ginny said sarcastically.

“Oh, fine, let’s go find out if they’re still up. Since I know that Alicia wants to get to Jamie, and I’m sure Hermione is just secretly dying to see Ron,” Emily laughed.

“I’m with Ginny—shut up,” Hermione said, giggling slightly.

The four girls walked into the Common Room. Five boys were sitting around the fire—Jamie, Harry, Ron, Fred, and George. They were all talking about whom they were taking to the Yule Ball.

Emily sighed, remembering she didn’t have a date. She sat down next to the twins on the ground while Alicia snuggled up into Jamie’s side on the love seat. Hermione and Ginny both scooted into one of the overly sized arm chairs.

“Who are you guys going with?” George asked.

Jamie and Alicia both looked at each other. “Her,” he said at the same time that she said, “Him.” Everyone laughed.

“I’m going with Neville,” Ginny said quietly.

“You can’t go to the dance!” Fred said loudly.

“Yeah, you’re too young!” George agreed.

“Oh, please, she’s plenty more mature than the two of you together,” Emily replied with the roll of her eyes. Ginny stuck her tongue out at the twins and they returned the gesture.

“So, who are you going with?” George asked Emily.

Emily’s cheeks turned a light pink. “If I go, I’ll end up going stag,” she said quietly.

“Or, you could come with me,” Fred suggested with a smile.

“That means I’ll actually have to go,” Emily replied, her lip curling up.

“I would make you go regardless,” Alicia said with a grin.

“You’re hurting my feelings, Ems. It should be an honor for you to accompany Fred Weasley,” Fred said with a grin.

Emily slapped his arm playfully. “I guess I’ll go with you,” she sighed in a joking manner.

“Don’t act, baby. You know you like it,” he laughed.

“Don’t make me regret this,” Emily giggled. Fred extended his arm around her shoulder and she leaned back on it. “Ugh, now I have to go shopping,” she thought aloud.

“I’ll go!” Alicia said.

“Well, duh,” Emily said. “Next Hogsmeade trip then?” she asked. Alicia nodded enthusiastically.

These are such nice little posts to read and try to relax to. I guess I don't understand young love these days. Why oh why would Emily have it in her mind that she still wants him!?!?!?!?!?!? And why would he think he deserves either girl after he treated them that way? Great post as always Emily. I'll be watching for the next.

Are you all ready?

'Shopping...' Alicia thought happily as she headed towards the village. Ginny, Hermione and Emily surrounded her, laughing and joking.

"So? What are we getting?" Hermione asked as Hogsmeade came into view.

"Dresses..." Emily laughed, directing herself tothe dress store, Winston's.

"Not funny... Alicia? Can you see them?" Ginny said, playing with the zip on her jacket. It had got extremely cold overnight.

"In your future, I can see-" Alicia started, putting her fingertips on her temples and the corner of her mouth twitching as she looked over at Emily. Hermione and Ginny burst out laughing. "A one armed... Floor length... Silvery sort of colour... It's hard to explain, I'll shout when I see it" Alicia said, dropping her hands. Emily laughed as Hermione pushed the door open.

The bell above the door called the owner out from the back.

"Ah! Miss Alicia! Are you here for a dress for the ball?" The man said, hurrying forwards to where Alicia stood. She nodded and looked at the others behind her.

"Winston, this is Ginny, Hermione and Emily- my best friends" The little man bowed slightly as Alicia pointed out each girl.

"Nice to meet you, friends of Miss Alicia... We had new dresses in yesterday" He added, looking round at Alicia.

"I know, I saw it... That's why we're here, Winston. We want to see them" Alicia said, a smile on her face. "It's all you, now"

"Thank you, Miss Alicia... Misses are very pretty... Three lucky dates somewhere... Miss Emily first, please"

"Just stand there and listen to what he says... Winston is the best dress maker I know" Alicia said, pushing Emily towards the racks.

"Red hair... Naturally curly?" He said, circling her. Emily nodded. "Not too tall... Not too short... I have the perfect dress!" And the man skipped off out the back.

"Don't worry... He's always like that... Just leave him to it" Alicia said as Ginny stared at the door. He returned a few minutes later, carrying a bag of a hanger.

"This will be perfect for you, Miss Emily... Do you like it?" He let the bag fall to the floor and Emily gasped.

(Emily's Dress)

"That's the one I can see now... You just changed the future, Winston" Alicia laughed and the man smiled broadly, placing the dress carefully into a bag.

"Miss Ginny next, please" Ginny skipped forwards and the man begun his circling. "Yes... I know the dress..." He said, stepping out the back again as Emily wanded towards the shoes. He returned and revealed the dress, getting the same reaction from Ginny.

"It's plain and simple... Just what I wanted!" She said, clapping her hands together as he bagged it for her.

(Ginny's Dress)

"Glad to help... Miss Hermione?" Hermione edged forwards. "What are you planning with your hair?"

"I don't know yet" She answered timidly and Winston frowned.

"I have a dress that would look lovely on you but your hair needs to pulled up" Hermione nodded and he went to find it.

"It's beautiful!" She said, looking at the dress with a smile on her face. Winston placed it in a bag and Hermione joined Emily and Ginny at the shoes.

(Hermione's Dress)

"Right... That leaves me, Winston" Alicia grinned as he walked forwards. "I'm think on having my hair red and pulled up into a bun"

"Perfect... One minute, Miss Alicia" He said, skipping off again.

"Guys... Look at this" The other three walked over to where Alicia stood, looking out the window. Draco Malfoy was having an argument with Pansy Parkinson.

"Looks like trouble in Paradise... But as fascinating as this is, I have shoes to find" Ginny said as Pansy walked away. Emily and Alicia swapped looks as Ginny and Hermione returned to the shoes.

"What was it about?" Emily asked as Draco vanished into the crowd. Neither of them noticed Winston return.

"Pansy thinks that I kissed him..." Alicia answered, shaking her head. She turned her back on the window. "Oh, sorry Winston! Let's see it, then!"

"Right or wrong?" He asked as Alicia stared at it.

"More than right... It's perfect!" He grinned and bagged it for her.

(Alicia's Dress)

"Shoes... Miss Ginny will look very nice in the glitter flats... Miss Hermione in the ballerina heels... Miss Emily in the silver flats and Miss Alicia with the-"

"Red heels... I don't want to match..." Alicia said and Winston smiled, nodding as he packed the four shoeboxes.

Hermione pulled out her purse and Winston shook his head.

"Miss Alicia and her friends do not pay here- just tell people where you got the items" He said as Alicia handed the bags out to their owners.

"Here you go! Get yourself a drink at the Three Broomsticks" Alicia said, dropping a few gold coins onto the counter.

Two hours later, the four girls were sitting in the warm common room.

"So how much did your dresses cost?" Fred asked as he, George, Jamie, Harry and Ron sat round them.

"Five galleons, apparently" Hermione said, rolling her eyes. Jamie turned to Alicia, a smile on his face.

"You went to see Winston?" She nodded and he laughed.

"Five galleons, each?" Fred asked and Emily shook her head.

"Five galleons for four dresses and four pairs of shoes" She said and the twins laughed.

Hello Abi, thanks for anther refreshing post. It's great to think of the wonderful talent SS has writing FF's for them. It's always a pleasure reading this story. I'd love to borrow Alicia. I have to go grocery shopping, and I'm so tired of making my menu for the week, and getting to the store only to find they're out of stock on a bunch of items, and then I have to spend yet longer than normal time finding substitute meals. Alicia could make things so much easier on me. Teasing aside, the girls are lucky to have her to shop with them. Alicia doesn't seem worried about this at all! Pansey can be so much trouble for her. She should try to look at the future and see if she or Pansey are sporting black eyes or worse.
I'm sure the girls will all look lovely in there new dresses. Well, we know Hermione does. I was about to ask if you was going to let us know when the dresses pending approval will be ok'd. But, it's ok, I'll just check back now and then.

Great post Abi. I'll be watching for the next.

“Father, I wasn’t aware you would be making it,” Draco said quietly as Lucius Malfoy joined the party of three at the Three Broomsticks. Pansy smiled stupidly as her father kept studying Draco.

“Of course I would make it, Draco. Don’t be stupid,” Lucius replied. Draco’s cheeks flushed pink for a moment before returning to their usual pale. Lucius sat down on Draco’s left as Pansy grabbed Draco’s hand in his lap. Draco did his best to hold back from rolling his eyes and snatching his hands away.

“I see you two are getting along quite well,” Mr. Parkinson observed, indicating to Pansy and Draco. “Have you thought about when you want your wedding?” he asked.

“I don’t want to rush into anything,” Draco said automatically. Cassius’ eyes narrowed and Draco looked away.

“Maybe after we finish school,” Pansy put in. Cassius smiled at his daughter.

“Yes, yes, after school will be good,” Lucius agreed. Draco stayed quiet. “So, Draco, Cassius was telling me an amusing little story. Want to guess the subject?” Lucius asked, his eyes boring into Draco’s skull.

Draco wouldn’t meet his father’s eyes. He shook his head slightly. “I have no idea, father,” Draco said in a monotone voice.

“Well, Pansy seemed to have an encounter with two certain Gryffindors. And it was all about you. Is there anything you’d like to tell me?” Lucius asked coldly.

“It’s not my fault if I’m popular, father.”

Lucius hit his son in the back of the head. “Don’t play dumb,” he said coldly. Cassius glared at Draco while Pansy dropped his hand.

“I don’t even know which Gryffindors you’re talking about,” Draco lied with a straight face.

“It was a Miss Black,” Lucius started. Draco flinched at her name. “And a Miss Daniels,” he finished.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Draco replied.

“Since I knew you wouldn’t be one for sharing, I asked for someone to check up on you,” Lucius said with a hard face. Draco tensed. He wasn’t expecting this. If Lucius found out about Emily, she’d be dead, especially with her parentage. “Last year you disappeared almost nightly, Draco. Where did you go?” he asked.

“Most likely the kitchens for a late night snack,” Draco replied.

“Don’t lie,” Lucius growled.

“What answer are you looking for, father?” Draco asked in frustration. He glared up at his father, grimacing.

“How about a week ago on the North Tower?” Lucius asked, anger boiling into his face. “Did you kiss Daniels?” Pansy shrieked, covering her mouth with her hands. Cassius’ face grew red as he glared Draco down.

“Of course I didn’t! Maybe you should get a better spy,” Draco replied, sweat forming at his hairline.

“He saw you and her kissing, Draco. Now, explain why you disgraced the Malfoy name,” Lucius said, pounding the table with his fist. “Do you enjoy embarrassing me, Draco?” he shouted. A few people glanced over at them, but looked away quickly when they realized who it was.

“I didn’t… She…kissed me,” he lied quickly.

“Don’t lie,” Lucius repeated.

“Draco, it must have been dreadful,” Pansy purred as she grabbed his hand again.

“I’m not lying, father. She kissed me,” he said slowly. Draco internally felt sorry for Daniels. He hoped that his father wouldn’t do anything to her family. Draco shook the thoughts from his head.

“If I find out differently, Draco,” Lucius started to threaten. Lucius glared at Draco as he nodded.

Phwew, crisis averted, Draco thought. Draco excused himself from the table quickly and Pansy followed after him. She grabbed his hand and he rolled his eyes.

Pansy started rambling on about Alicia and Emily and their stupidity, calling them names. As she and Draco reached the street, he huffed loudly.

“Would you just shut it, Pansy?” he yelled at her. People stared at them as they passed. Pansy’s jaw dropped.

“Why? Do you not like me insulting them? Did you like it when Daniels kissed you?” Pansy screeched, horror in her eyes.

“Of course not, don’t be ridiculous,” Draco said loudly. He yanked his hand from hers.

“Then why would your reaction be like that? You like her, don’t you?” Pansy asked in shock. “Which one though? Is it Daniels or is it Black?” Pansy asked quietly.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Draco replied evenly. He flinched at Emily’s name. Pansy narrowed her eyes.

“Ugh! I can’t believe you like her!” Pansy yelled. She turned on her heel and flew through the crowd. Draco watched after her for a second, realizing he would hear from his father about this, and then he walked away, through the rushing crowd.
