Chapter 1:

Her name is Elizabeth "Rose" Dragonheart and she is the daughter of Victoria & Logan Dragonheart. She is about to start her first year at Hogwarts and she is super excited. She already knows what house she's going to be in...SLYTHERIN. She knows because all of her family her sister, brother, her mum and dad, her grandparents even her great grandparents are or were Snakes (Slytherins). She was really excited because she already knows a lot of the Slytherin guys (her brother's and sister's friends) because they are always at her house over the summer.

She lives with her family in London. And that includes her bestfriend Quill. He lost his parents when he was about 5. She never really found out what happened and she was always to afraid to ask.

Today was the day that Elizabeth, Quill, her older brother Tom and her older sister Charlie have to go to Diagon Ally and get thier items for school. Her mum and dad were unable to go but that didn't suprise Elizabeth they havent been around much for a while. It upset her but not to much.

"Quill lets get going." Elizabeth yells.

Quill runs down the stairs and says, "Gosh okay just stop yelling."

Elizabeth's eyes narrow and she tells him, "Don't tell me what to do. If i want to yell then i'll yell. I get what i want and you know that."

Elizabeth wasn't the nicest person. Actually she was really rude, mean and cruel but she can't help it thats the way her mummy and daddy raised her. She was raised in the wizarding world so she really hasn't been in the muggle world but once of twice. Both of her parents are wizards so she is 100% PUREBLOOD. He parents and granparents and even great grandparents are not good wizards. They were....death eaters and Elizabeth was pretty much one of them. Elizabeth hated MUDBLOODS and believes that they shouldn't be welcome at Hogwarts or even in the wizarding world. You can say she is a young death eater in training and she loves it.

So Elizabeth, Quill and Charlie took the fireplace to Diagon Alley. When they arrived Elizabeth was amazed. She had been to Diagon Alley so many time but today was just diffrent and she didn't know what it was. She knew that she had to get a lot of things for school but she really didn't care she just wanted to take her sweet time and go to Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. She wanted to make a rep for herself at her first year at Hogwarts.

Elizabeth knew that she had to go to Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. Her older sister Charlie always talked about how there was all different kinds of joke and gag items. Including the love postion. She knew she had to buy some before she goes off to Hogwarts this year. She wants to put a spell on some boys. So she went straight to the love potions and starts to look around.

Tony looked around the shop and saw a girl about his age browsing... the love potions? He had this strange idea that he should avoid that section at all costs, but she was one of the few kids his age he'd seen all day. He decided to go up and talk to her. "Hi!" He grinned and waved. "My name's Tony. What's yours?"

"Ello' Tony. I'm Elizabeth." Elizabeth grins back.
"So what are you doing here?" She asks politely.

Tony smiled. "Nice to meet you, Elizabeth!" He looked through the various aisles of jokes, pranks, and potions. "Just browsing for school. Have to make myself a reputation now, eh?" He laughed, taking down a package and examining it before placing it back on the shelf.

Elizabeth laughed she thought that he was funny, "Ya I guess so. I kind of want to make a reputation for myself you know. My sister got a reputation at Hogwarts for pranks and jokes and I want to show her up. You know what I mean?" she looks down and finally grabs a bottle of Love Postion. "You know you should try some of this love postion on someone. I've seen it. It's pretty funny. You can get bloody anyone to fall in love with you." she laughs again. She looks to her right and sees the Extendable Ears, grins and points toward them, "Those are good too."

Tony smiled. "Really? What was her name? My older brother might've heard of her. And yeah, I know what you mean." He looked down with her and saw they were still standing in front of the love potions. Gulp. "You've actually seen it work? Well I've heard of what it can do, I sure hope no one tries to slip that into my morning apple juice." He laughed, glancing at the ears with strings. "I tried using one of those once. They're really useful, but they hurt my ears whenever I use them. That little string just... ick." He hated the feeling of the string in his ear, and tried using his real ones whenever he could.

"Her name is Charlotte but everyone calls her Charlie she's a year 4 Slytherin." it was her fault for bringing her sister up but she never really liked talking about her. She was a "sweet" girl mostly mean but not to Elizabeth...sometimes. Its just everyone always compares them to each other and everyone always tell Elizabeth that she should be more like Charlie. she stoped thinking about it and laughed, "Dont worry I wont try anything like this on you." talking about the love postion, "and ya I have see it work. My sister used it on my bestfriend Quill it took forever for it to ware off that stuff is very powerfull." Just remembering what happened made her laugh."and i use the Extendable Ears all the time they never bugged me"

Tony nodded. "Yeah, I'll have to ask my brother if he knows her or not. Charlie is a pretty common name though..." He added this last part as a thought to himself. Yes, Charlie is a pretty common name. "Oh, good." Phew. "I feel sorry for the poor student you do use that on." He laughed. "Are you serious? Poor Quill..." He didn't know who this "Quill" was, but he sure felt sorry for him. "Really? The strings just seem to not like my ears or something."
He grinned, picking up another box and looking at it closely. "Puking Pastules? Eww. I never liked these as a kid, my brother used to give them to me all the time. I will not make any other kid go through that torture." He laughed, putting the box back on the shelf. He quickly walked over to an area and got a basket, then walked back over to Elizabeth. He wanted to stock up for the term ahead.

"Ya tell your brother it's Charlie Dragonheart. Dragonheart isn't very common." She laughs. It really wasn't a common name. The only people that really it were the people that knew her family's horrible past.
"I plan on using it on a hopeless Slytherin. Probably a year two or three. But ya Quill was bloody mad after that. Still to this day he won't let Charlie foget it" She laughs again but she still feels a little bad. She would never tell Tony that it was partly her fault.
Elizabeth looks down at the Extendable ear she has in her hands and says, "Ya I use these all the time to spy on my mum and dad." She looks at the box that Tony put back on the shelf then back at Tony, "You know out of every joke and tricks i've see over the years i don't think i've ever seen this one." Pointing at the Puking Pastules.

Tony smiled. "Alright, I'll be sure to." He laughed. "Aww, that poor Snake! I have a feeling that whole year won't like you very much. I hear Slytherin's aren't very forgiving." At least that's what his brother told him. "I feel sorry for Quill! I'd be mad too." He laughed again. "You spy on your parents too? Unfortunately in my case, my parents rarely if ever talk about anything cool." His eyes widened. "Really? You've never heard of puking pastules? But... both your parents are wizards, right? Even some of my muggleborn friends have heard of these." He shrugged, picking up a thing of... something. That exploded. He carefully put it back on the shelf, then looked down at his empty basket. He needed to get something.

Elizabeth laughs at the fact that Tony called the Slytherins snakes "That wont happen. Most of them already love me. Charlie's a Slytherin so they are always at our house during the summer. They told me that they can't wait to get me as a Slytherin like them. My whole family, my mum and dad, my grandparents even my great grandparents have all been snakes. I can't wait to be one. And they are very forgiving....to other Slytherins." she smiles. "Puking pastules....I've most likey heard of them but I just don't remember and yes I do spy on my mum and dad." she laughs again "Some things they say are very...interesting and other...I don't think I was suppose to hear." Those things she wasn't suppose to hear scared her.
Then she thought of the word Tony used "muggle-born"...her family had a diffrent kind of name for those kinds of wizards but she knew she shouldn't say it.
"Yes my mum and dad are both wizards but......not the good kind." Elizabeth sadly admits.

Elizabeth looks down at her watch and realized that it was already noon and she had so much to do. So she looked back up at Tony and says, "I'm so sorry Tony but i have to go it was nice meeting you and i hope i see you at Hogwarts. Bye." she give a small smile, grabs 3 bottles of love potion and walks up to the counter. She couldn't wait to put a spell on some snakes and make them fall in love with her .


OOC: I defently can't take all of the credit for this. I have to thank Gryffindorgurl for the part of Tony. This is a conversation that i had with her at Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. So thank you Gryffindorgurl

She walked out of Weasley's Wizard Wheezes and looked at her list. The one thing that there was a lot of what books so she knew she jusy wanted to get all of that out of the way. So she walks over to Flourish and Blotts Bookstore.

While looking at all of the books Elizabeth felt someone bump into her. At first she thought it was her bestfriend Quill.
In a kind of mad British accent she states, "Bloody hell watch where you're...." she stopped mid-sentence when she realized it wasn't Quill. "Sorry I thought you were someone else."
Sorry??? What am I saying? Elizabeth thought to herself, Bloody hell!!! What is wrong with me today. I'm being....nice. Have I lost my cruelness?
Elizabeth looks back at the girl who bumped in to her, "Just watch where you're going okay." Elizabeth says in a tone that wasn't quite rude yet...but getting there.

"Um... Excuse me," Daniel said to the [Elizabeth] who was standing directly in front of the part of the shelf that held the book he wanted. He'd already gotten all his school books, so now he was just looking for something to read for fun. He almost immediately regretted saying anything to [Elizabeth], though. She didn't seem very nice, judging from her interaction with a girl who'd just bumped into her.

"Bloody hell!!!" Elizabeth was mad now. First someone bumps into her and now this.
She turns around to face the boy who spoke to her, "What?!?!? What do you want?!?!" She asks him in the rudest way she could possibly think of.
She was very proud of herself she had gotten her cruelness back and she was loving it. She thought to herself again, I might as well act the way my mum and dad raised me.

Daniel stared at the girl blankly. Really? Seriously? "You're in my way," he deadpanned, raising an eyebrow. He'd learned long ago from his seventeen-year-old sister that nothing annoyed mean girls more than not letting them bother you. It had always made her really angry when Daniel didn't react the way she wanted, so he figured it would probably work the same way on this girl. Mwahaha.

"Oh my gosh really! I'm so sorry" Elizabeth says very very sarcasticly, "Guess what....I DON'T CARE!!! and your annoying me so I REALLY DON'T CARE!!!" She says loadly but not quite yelling...yet.
Being mean, cruel and rude was Elizabeth's specialty even this...kid couldn't ruin that.

"I'm annoying you? Interesting..." Daniel answered, scratching his chin. "Hmm." He looked at her. For all her yelling, she didn't really look like she could physically injure him, so he figured he was in the clear on that front, at the very least. "Well. I'm going to keep annoying you until you move." He shrugged. He wanted that book, gosh darn it, and he would stay here and bug the heck out of her until she got out of his way. It was kind of fun, anyway. At home, his mom always got him in trouble when he did this to his sister (which was SO not fair since she always started it)... But his mom wasn't here. And this girl wasn't his sister. So ha. He looked past her at the girl who'd bumped into her and wondered what she was making of the whole situation.

Elizabeth just laughed it was funny to her that he thought that he could annoy her so much that she'll move. She has an older sister and older brother no one can out annoy them. So she could stay here as long as she needed.
"Really? Wow okay! I can stay here for as long as I want. Plus if you annoy me to much I can just hurt you. I may not look the part but I can raise bloody hell when I need to. Plus I grew up in a family of death eaters so don't underestimate me.” Elizabeth says while getting in his face.
She always got what she wanted, where she wanted it, when she wanted it and whatever she wanted it, If she hads to hurt someone to get it then so be it.

Daniel shrugged again. "You talk a big game." He nodded sarcastically, as if to say, Uh-huh, suuuuure you could hurt me. He sized her up. She was smaller than he was. He could probably just pick her up and move her out of the way. But he would rather see where this went first. "I'm Daniel, by the way. Very nice to meet you. I can see that we are going to be wonderful friends."

"It's not just talk...Daniel. Like I said I can raise hell when I need to."
She took a good look at him and he was probably a good 3 or 4 inches bigger then her but she didn't really care. Her older brother was most likely like 8 to 10 inches taller. So if she could take him down she didn't see any reason why she couldn't take this kid down and she wasn't afraid to either. Elizabeth has her fist clenched and down at her side waiting for the moment that he gives her a better reason to just hit him straight in the face.

"If I ever need hell raised, you'll be the first person I go to," Daniel answered with a mock-serious nod. "But for now, the only thing I need raised is that book off the shelf. Is that also in your area of expertise?" Oooh, she was getting maaaad. And he was enjoying it.

"ha ha ha very funny" she said sarcasticly.
She took a deep breath trying to calm herself down. She really wants to hit this guy right now but she knows she can't get in anymore trouble with her mum for "hurting" people. But her dad would be proud of her. She's a young Death Eater in training.
"Don't be bloody smart with me." Elizabeth gets in Daniel's face again.

"Thank you. I've been told I'm hilarious." Daniel grinned, still looking at the girl. He raised an eyebrow when she yelled again. "I suspect if I got smart with you, you wouldn't understand me anymore," he answered, mentally high-fiving himself. That was totally a good one.

Elizabeth's mouth feel open. She was in shock the he pretty much just called her stupid. She hated that more then anything because she really wasn't stupid. She knew things that young wizards her age only dreamed about. Somethings that she wish she didn't know.
"You just called me stupid. Wow! You think you're funny do you? I know things that you could only dream about. I also know how to kill someone and get away with it. My mummy and daddy taught me that one." she informs him. and shs wasn't bluffing. She really did know all that stuff even if she wished she hadn't.

"I actually never called you stupid. You said it, not me," Daniel answered with another grin. "Your parents sound like right winners, then, don't they? Did they also teach you how to get out of the way? Because that's really all I want from you." He crossed his arms over his chest. He actually sort of believed her, but then again, he wasn't sure. She was an 11-year-old girl, after all. In any case, he didn't think she would actually kill him in a bookstore. Too many witnesses.

"You implied it." she reminds him.
"And I never said my parents were good people. To be honest I don't know what they are anymore. They're barely around anymore." Elizabeth was getting upset talking about her parents. But you couldn't see it in her face or hear it in her tone. She hides her feeling very well. She learned a long time ago to hide her feelings so that she didn't appear to be weak.
She shook out all of those thoughts out of her head and answered Daniel, "Like I said before I get what I want, when I want it, where I want it and how I want it and that's not going to change today. So i'm not moving!"

"Implied but never said," Daniel replied. He rolled his eyes a bit. "Don't you really want me to go away and stop talking to you? Because that would happen if you took, like, two steps to the right. Two steps to the right, and your biggest problem right now would be gone." He shrugged. "But I've got nothing else to do today, so if you'd rather keep talking, that's perfectly fine with me. Making new friends is just oh, so fun, isn't it?"

Thats kind of all Elizabeth really needed. A friend.
She never gives up but she just felt so...defeated. So she just took two steps to the right and gave up. For the first time in her life.
She looked down and couldn't stop thinking about her parents. Now you can see the heartbreak in her eyes. She gave up on fighting her emotions. Not looking up at Daniel, Elizabeth mumbles, "I'm Elizabeth by the way."

Whoa! Hey! Wait! Had she actually done it? "Um... Thanks," Daniel said, grabbing the book from the shelf after she'd moved. "Ah... Erm..." Why did she look sad?! What the heck was going on?! He reached out and patted her shoulder awkwardly. "Are you... Are you alright, then, Elizabeth?" This was not the reaction he thought she was going to have! Sad girls were not his area of expertise! His brain was entering panic mode! MUST MAKE GIRL NOT SAD ANYMORE!

There was one thing on Elizabeth's mind and that was the night her mum and dad were taken away from her. She was only 9 years old and they were framed for a murder they didn't do. It tore her apart inside to think that they were sent to Azkaban for something they didn't do. But she couldn't let Daniel see that she was in pain. She cleared her mind the best she could but still not looking up she was able to say, "Ya I'm fine." What she didn't get was why Daniel was still there. He got what he wanted so why didn't he just leave. In a calm tone (with no rudeness what so ever) Elizabeth looked up and asked, "You got your book. Why are you still here?”

"Uh... Well..." Daniel said. To be honest, he couldn't really think of a reason other than, "You looked upset. So I figured I'd make sure you were okay." He nodded.

"Its not like you actually care." Elizabeth told him. He most likely just sees her for some mean girl that wouldn't let him the book he wanted but she did have feelings. She may not show then but she does have them.

"How do you know?" Daniel asked with a shrug. Even if this girl had been mean at first, now she just seemed kind of sad, which made him feel bad for some reason. "Uh..." he trailed off for a moment, thinking. "Do you want to go somewhere?" He didn't know where. Maybe to get some ice cream or something? Gosh darn it, Daniel hated it when he felt bad for people who were mean to him, but he just couldn't help it.

Elizabeth was shocked that he was still here. she thought to herself Maybe he dose care but why? She finally answered daniel, "Um..sure how about the Rest Area at the carnival.?" She still couldn't believe he was being nice to her after she was so mean to him all day. She just didn't ge it.

"Okay," Daniel agreed. He hadn't been to the carnival yet, so this could be kinda cool. Hopefully Elizabeth stayed semi-nice...

Elizabeth grabbed her books and says, "So i'll see meet you there later. I have to take care of a few things." She walks up to the counter to buy her books and she had a million things going through her mind. The major thing is WHY WAS SHE BEING NICE TO PEOPLE!?!? another was Why did she give in to Daniel. She knew that something was wrong with her today. She wasn't being herself. And that kind of scared her because she walways did fine being her self and she never got hurt. She was scared to get hurt again.

OOC: I have to thank awakemysoul again for the part of Daniel.So thank you awakemysoul!

OOC: I would really like your fed back I really want to know if you guys like my character and the whole story.

Yeah i like it, its not too bad. I want to write a story similar to yours but I don't think it'll be that great. But yeah anyway good story, can't wait to see what happens next!
