Chapter Guide
1-Jail Break

Chapter 1: Jail Break!
Disclaimer: The universe in which I am writing my story, and all cannon characters are strictly the creation of J.K. Rowling.

Earl Grey sat silently within his cage atop a a dresser over looking his captor's bed. He didn't like this cage that his captor placed him in, he much preferred wide open spaces as opposed to this jail cell. He blinked his large eyes and let off a loud croak to see if he could stir his captor awake who was sleeping in the bed beside him. The Teenaged boy shifted some, and mumbled something incoherent in his sleep. Something about a fleece and tea. No good, perhaps if he slammed against the cage hard enough it would fall onto the captor and wake him up to let him out. That's when he heard the door open slightly, it was too dark to make out what had let itself into the dorm's bedroom, but whatever it was it had bright yellow eyes. Earl Grey followed it's movements until it reached the side of his captor's bed. It leaped up onto the dresser and sat down beside him. It was the captor's pet cat.

Charmer had a a rough night, he had roamed around the kitchen all night hoping to come across some prey. But there was no food for him there, he would have to settle with what ever Master put down for him which was normally cold tasteless Tuna. Master never understood that he wanted to be a hunter! couldn't Master have the decency to find him a Pygmy Puff or something he could chow down on. He entered back into the Common Room seconds after another human opened the entry way. Charmer slipped past the human's feet and darted to the common room to eat another dull dinner. As he entered into the dorm room he heard a strange noise come from the dresser beside Master's Bed. He swiftly jumped up to the bed to see that there was a creature sitting within the cage. Master had indeed caught him something to feast upon today. It didn't look like a mouse, or a Pygmy Puff what had Master captured for him?

Earl Grey stayed as still as he could as the black cat loomed over his cage. Did his Captor's cat just licked it's lips!?!? His large eyes turned to look directly at the cat, but it was no longer beside him. The black cat had moved in front of the cage now and slipped one of it's paws into the cage. It patted down Earl Grey which annoyed him greatly. Early Grey let off a loud croak which scared away the cat's paw from him.

Charmer wasn't sure if he would like eating a toad, this was a toad was it not? It felt some what differently around the eyes, they seemed pointed at the tips. Charmer moved his paw out of the cage when the toad let off a loud noise! It startled him some, but that wasn't going to keep him from having some kind of taste test. Charmer inspected the cage some and found it had a simple push down lock holding the cage shut. moving his paw under the lock Charmer pushed up and the little metal bar moved up and out.

Had the black cat done what he thought it did? The Cat opened his cage! Earl Grey had the perfect chance to escape now, He jumped forward swinging the cages door out and smacking the cat to the floor! Earl Grey landed on the top of the wooden dresser's surface, he inspected his surroundings and quickly leaped down to the floor the doorway was still opened slightly and Earl Grey could not resist the urge to leave! He hopped to the door and left the boy's dorm.

FREEDOM!

It took Charmer by complete surprise when the toad jumped forward and smacked the gate directly into him! He fell to the floor, but quickly adjusted and landed on his feet. He shook his head to try and forget the pain that the toad inflicted upon him with the cage door and saw he toad hop right out of the door!

DINNER!
