A New World...


Sarah looked out of her bedroom window, and sighed at the thought of another week at school. She sometimes thought, that maybe she belonged somewhere else. She lived in a normal Orphanage, yet she could sometimes make things happen without touching them, or when she was mad... She shook her head and got dressed. Let's face it, she was just a misfit.

Sirius looked out the window of his parents house, wondering, how was Harry? As he thought that, something else nudged in the back of his mind. His Daughter. His Daughter, that his mother told Kreacher to give to an orphanage, because she was a half-blood. He went into the kitchen and made himself dinner. Just as he finished, Dumbledore walked into the kitchen. 'Sirius, I have good news.' he said. Sirius scowled. 'What?' he snapped. 'We have found her.' Dumbledore smiled. 'Who?' Sirius said, siting up a bit straighter. 'Sarah.' said Dumbledore. Sirius fell out of his chair. 'Where!' he replied, picking him self up and sitting back on the chair. 'In a Muggle Suburb, a little place called Silsden...'

Sarah got off the bus. There was a tall man, with black greasy hair that was in a curtain of his face. He was wearing a black cloak. 'It's not halloween yet.' said Sarah as she passed. The man just grabbed her bag. 'Oi! Get off it!' Sarah shot at the man as she tried to tug it out of his grasp. The man just turned and she was pulled with him into a tight tube, it seemed. Suddenly, the tube broke and she was standing in the middle of London. 'What the...' she started before she was pulled into a dingy pub. They just went through. The man pulled out a twig, and tapped a brick in the middle of the wall. Suddenly the wall wiggled, and moved apart so they could pass.

Sirius stood in the middle of Gringotts, watching a Goblin weighing rubies the size of his fist. He felt anxious, excited and that same feeling he had when he found Harry..

The Man pulled her towards a snowy white building, passing other shops on the way.Sarah just started at them. Unicorn Horns? A pet shop with owls? Suddenly the man stopped and she crashed into him. They had reached the doors. A the door dressed in a suit or Red and Gold was a....... 'Ummm, what are they?' she asked as the passed them trough gold doors. 'Goblins' the man said. Goblins! .Sarah couldn't believe her ears... as she entered a hall....

Sirius looked up and saw Snape coming towards him, dragging a girl by her school bag, rather roughly. The girl was staring round, at the gold, the rubies, and the goblins. Snape has reached him. 'There you are' he said pushing the girl towards him so she landed flat on her behind. 'Oi! You ever heard of being polite? Or did that die with the thought of washing your hair??' She scowled up at Snape. Then she looked up at Sirius. She had his hair, his face, and looked exactly like him, but her eyes, her eyes were the lovely hazel her mothers were. She looked at his face and he saw shock in those eyes, looking at a man who looked exactly like her, but not her eyes.

Sarah stared at this man in shock. He looked exactly like her, but his eyes were not Hazel, they were brown and looked deep into her soul. 'Who are you....' she asked. The man swallowed. 'Call me Dad.' he said. She looked at the eyes, and saw truth. She stood up, walked towards him, then rushed forward and hugged him, and he hugged her back. Somehow, she knew that she now belonged.....

Sarah woke up, but kept her eyes shut. 'It was a dream' she told herself firmly. 'I dreamed that a man called Sirius turned out to be my dad, and that I am a witch.' But the dream had been lovely, and oh how she wanted to just roll over and go back to sleep, and back into the dream. But no, she had to get up and face school again. She slowly opened one eye, the sat bolt up and opened them both. 'It wasn't a dream!' she whispered joyfully. A thought snuck into her mind. She quietly got out of bed and tiptoed to Sirius bedroom...

Sirius awoke and remembered the events of yesterday. He smiled and turned over, when his door creaked open a bit, and feet padded across the floor. 'Don't even try it Sarah.' he said. 'How did you know?' she asked, slipping under the covers, for Sirius knew the bedroom was draughty and she wore thin clothes. 'You smell of Chocolate. I know it's you.' Sirius replied. They had found out yesterday that Sarah loved chocolate when Sirius brought her some to try. He turned over and looked at her, with her cheeky grin on her face, that her loved to see, for he guessed when she lived in the orphanage she didn't smile a lot. 'What we doing today then?' she asked. 'Well, I thought we could go shopping for some new clothes for you.' he said, as he took in her ragged clothes the orphanage had put on her. 'I'd like that. Would there be a chance of a bit of chocolate?' she asked hopefully. 'We'll see.' said Sirius with a bit of laughter in his voice. Sarah had become more fiery since she meet him, more bubbly and more confident. 'Oh, and Harry is coming over.' he added. 'Your godson? I can't wait to meet him' Sarah Said

Sarah walked down the stairs, a few hours later after they had brought the clothes. Sirius looked up at her, and she saw pride in his eyes. 'Well, what do you think?' she asked with a twirl. They had brought a pair of black bootleg jeans with gold stitching on the back pockets, a loose top with a tiger on it, and a pair of black crocodile boots with wedge heels, and a small black leather jacket. The door opened, and a boy stepped through. Black messy hair, with a lightning bolt scar, and vivid green eyes. She knew that this was Harry. He was about the same age as she was, a little taller, and more filled out. He stopped and stared at her on the stairs. 'Who is this Sirius?' he asked. 'This is Sarah. My daughter.' Sirius came out and gave Sarah a hug. She looked at Harry as two more people came in. 'Sarah, this is Ron' Harry waved a hand to the boy 'and Hermione' Harry waved his other hand to the girl. 'This' he waved a hand at her 'is Sarah, Sirius's daughter.' 'Hi' Sarah said and then stepped down the last few stairs self-concioucesly. She looked into those vivid green eyes and saw confusion and a bit of shy...

Sirius looked at Harry and Sarah, and sensed that Sarah had lost her confidence, although Harry wasn't helping by staring at her. Sarah walked down the stairs and ran into Kreachers den, although she didn't know that. 'Oh more blood traitors, what would kreachers mistress say if she saw this...' Sirius heard Kreacher say and Sarah came running out and back upstairs to her room. Sirius heard the door slam, and then silence. He looked at Harry and saw in those eyes confusion and a bit of frustration. He said 'Look Harry, she is here to stay. I have just found her, and I don't want to lose her again.'

Sarah threw herself on her bed. Why, Why, did Harry keep staring at her? Whats wrong? She heard a knock on her door. 'Go away!' she said. Hermione simply came in and sat on the side of the bed. 'What do you want?' Sarah said, muffled by the fact she had her face in the duvet. 'Look, I know how it feels. When I first meet Harry, I felt like my confidence had drained.' said Hermione. Sarah sat up and she looked at Hermione. 'Come on.' Hermione took Sarah's hand and lead her downstairs. They went into the kitchen and found everyone sitting there. Sirius jumped up as they entered the room. 'Sarah, are you ok?' he asked, going over and looking at her. 'I'm fine Dad, calm.' Sarah said. 'She just needed another girl's point of view.' Hermione said. 'Calm Sirius.' They sat down and Sarah looked at Harry again. 'Sorry.' he mouthed. Sarah grinned in response and Harry grinned back. 'Sarah's Hogwarts Letter arrived this morning while we were out. I found Kreacher about to burn it when we got in.' Sirius said and grinned...

Sarah woke up. It was September the 1st. She shook with excitement, and sat up, looking at her trunk packed in the corner of the room. She got out of bed and into her new outfit, a lovely blue jumper and a pair of loose jeans and her new trainers, as hermione woke up. She looked over and smiled. 'You look lovely Sarah. Here, let me do your hair.' She said, picking her wand from her bedside cabinet. Sarah sat down as Hermione curled her hair along her wand, so it fell in ringlets that she put into a ponytail. Sarah looked at herself in the mirror. 'Wow, thank you.' she said softly. Her old english teacher had a fit if she wrote that, but Hermione smiled as if she had just composed a whole poem. Sarah walked down the stairs into the kitchen, where Sirius was making sausages and bacon with toast. He looked up and Sarah saw his face soften. 'You look lovely Sarah.' he said as he put the pan down for a minute to look at her. Sarah stood there for a while, then ran over and hugged him, as she had done when she first met him, and Sirius hugged her back.

Sirius gently unhooked Sarah so she could sit down and eat her breakfast. He tipped a pile of sausages and bacon with 2 slices of toast, as Harry, Ron and Hermione came into the kitchen. Sirius tipped breakfast onto their plates as well. As they finished, Sirius sent then up to their room for their trunks. Unfortunately Ron decided to charm his to fly down the stairs which knocked Sarah down the stairs. 'Ron you git! You just him Sarah!' Harry shouted at Ron as Hermione came running down the stairs, wand aloft so Sarah stopped before she hit the stairs anymore. 'Ow.' Sarah said as a impressive purple bruise started to swell on her forehead. Harry came tearing down the stairs and caught Sarah as Hermione put her wand away. Sirus took the cases himself 'before we have anymore accidents' he thought.

Sarah stood on the Platform between 9 and 10, and looked at the barrier. 'Sorry, I am meant to do what!' she said. 'Run between to barrier. Come on, I'll help.' Harry said and he took her hand. The pushed the trollies and Sarah shut her eyes, and braced for impact.

But the impact never came. Sarah opened her eyes and found herself on the platform. She was gaping at the giant train as Sirius, Ron and Hermione came trough the barrier. Sarah looked back and saw a big iron archway, with a sign saying 'Muggle London'. Sirius took a cadge she had though to be Ron's of the trolly and gave it to Sarah. Sarah pulled the cover of and gasped, for in the cadge was a small, fluffy, tawny owl, looking up at her and hooting happily. 'I brought her for you when you were off with Harry, Ron and Hermione getting ice cream.' Sirius smiled. 'Now go, the train is about to leave. Just say Sirius to her, and she will find me.' Sirius gave Sarah a gentle push onto the train while Harry put her trunk upon the luggage rack in their compartment. She waved as the door shut.

Sirius waved at watched as Sarah waved into the Distance. He felt happiness, and a little lonely, thinking now he had to go back to Grimmude place, alone except for that little toerag of a house elf...

Sarah waved until Sirius was out of sight, then sat down into the compartment, her hand clenched around the bag of coins Sirius had given her, for the food trolly. 5 minutes later, the door opened and Sarah, thinking it was the food trolley, looked up, into the pale drawn face of a boy. 'Well well well, look who it is. Potty, the Weasel and the Mudblood.' said the Boy. Before Harry could open his mouth, Sarah had stood up. Harry closed his mouth. 'If I chuck a stick, will you leave? Or do I need to hex you before you leave?' she asked fiercely. The boy stepped back. He muttered something to the two boys with him, and they left. Sarah sat back down. 'Who does he think he is?' she asked. 'That' said Harry 'was Draco Malfoy. And that must of been a record time to get rid of him, we have never done it so fast.' He smiled.

Once my mind starts working on a story, it doesn't stop...
I am adding a new point of view. We have only yet just had Sirius's and Sarah's point of View (thats what the lines are for) now I am adding Harry's and Draco's.

Harry looked at Sarah as she sat down, after the scene with Draco. 'Wow, we have a tough cookie on our hands' he thought. He remembered that Day they had first met, she had run into Kreacher's den then to her room. She had regained confidence since that talk with Hermione. 'I will never understand girls minds' he said to Ron

Draco walked down the Train. No one except Potty, Weasel and the Mudblood had ever stood up to him. Where had she come from? He hadn't seen her before, she could only be a first year, yet she was as tall and looked the same age as him. It was strange.

Sarah fell asleep. When she awoke, her stomach was rumbling. 'Have I missed the trolly?' she asked. 'Yes, but I took some money and brought you a bit of everything. Look' said hermione. Sarah looked. 'Ay vey. That's a lot.' Sarah said and help herself to a chocolate frog. 'Watch out, they jump.' said Harry. Sarah opened the wrapper and her frog jumped out. She grabbed it and bit its head of. 'Hey, my card has Dumbledore on it!' she exclaimed. 'He was my first one too.' said Harry. Sarah ate her sweets and the whole compartment started to nod off. Suddenly Sarah woke up, and heard voices. She didn't open her eyes, and she heard Draco Malfoy's voice. 'Come on, lets just go in and get her. She is just too good to be hanging round with those 3.' Sarah slowly took her wand out her pocket. She opened her eyes and pointed at Draco. 'Avis' she whispered and whole compartment woke with a start to see Draco running round with birds pecking at him. Laughter filled the train as the everyone watched Draco run back to his own compartment with birds following, pecking him at every chance they got. Hermione watched and said 'Was that you Sarah? That was really advanced magic.' Sarah giggled and nodded. 'Come on.' said Harry 'we better get changed.' The train pulled up at Hogwarts. The familiar voice of Rubas Hagrid filled the Air 'First years this way! Sarah Black? You're to come this way too!' Sarah said bye to her friends and made her way over to Hagrid. There was no room left in any of the boats so Sarah travelled on Hagrids knee. 'Duck!' yelled Hagrid and they all ducked under the stone archway. They turned a corner and then they saw Hogwarts....

Sarah gasped at Hogwarts. It looked like a fairytale castle out of a book. Turrets and everything. The boats stopped, and Sarah gingerly got out. She was the tallest among them 'and the oldest' she thought. Hagrid knocked on the great wooden doors 3 times. Immediately after the 3rd knock the door opened. A old witch stood there. 'First-Years Professor McGonagall.' said Hagrid. Sarah coughed. 'Oh, and Sarah Black, 3rd Year,but not sorted.' Hagrid said, giving Sarah a push forward that knocked her over. 'Oops. Sorry.' apologised Hagrid, pulling Sarah up. 'Follow me please.' said Professor McGonagall, and she lead them into a big hall. Sarah expected to be lead to the big doors, behind which was a lot of noise, but they were lead of to a small hall. 'Wait here.' said McGonagall and she went out. Sarah shifted about and then jumped as pearly white figures floated through the walls, along with some other girls screaming. Then another ghost floated through, but he was much more solid and colourful. 'OOOOO! Ickle first years! What larks!' he squealed and started to chuck stuff everywhere. Sarah pulled her wand out and said 'Avis transparentis!' pointing it at the trouble maker and little ghost birds shot out of her wand and started to peck him. 'AGHH!' said the ghost and he floated out the room with the birds still following through the wall. 'That' said a crisp voice 'was well done.' Sarah turned to see McGonagall had watched the whole thing. 'We are ready for you.' she said and Sarah got into line behind her. They marched through into the big halls, and faced a hat. They stared, and it started to sing.

Sarah breathed easy. They only had to put on the Hat! McGonagall pulled a scroll out and read names off. Sarah last name was Black, so she was near the start. Soon it got to her turn. 'Black, Sarah!' Sarah walked up, her legs feeling like jelly. She put it on, and it fell over her ears. 'Now' said the hat 'where do I put you? I have placed many of your ancestors in Slytherin, yet your father was a Gryfindor. I see a fire in your sole, yet loyalty to friends and Family. I see cunning in your mind, yet you have a brain of knowledge far greater then many people I have sorted. You posses all the qualities each of the founders had. You are a difficult decision. Yet I see great things in your future, great adventure, and these's show where you belong. You belong in...'

GRYFINDOR!

Sarah heard the hat shout this out to the whole hall, and she took of the hat and walked over the the table which was clapping. She slid in between Harry and Ron, and Harry gave her a hug. She smiled. When the last person had been sorted, Sarah looked down at her plate. Those sweets seemed ages ago. Dumbledore stood up. 'I have a few words, but lets us eat before!' He sat down. Sarah's mouth opened. The food had appeared before her. She piled her plate high with chicken, steak, sausages, roast potatoes, fries, yorkshire puddings and poured gravy all over it and tucked in. She had never tasted food like this, except maybe her dad's food. Halfway through the feast Peeves ran through with birds still pecking him. After the main course had finished, the pudding appeared. Sarah helped herself to anything chocolatly in her reach. Afterwards she felt so full she didn't pay attention in the speech, and was glad when it finished, so she followed Harry, Ron and Hermione up to the common room. The solid ghost flew towards them, still chased by the birds. Harry and Ron burst out laughing when they heard what Sarah had done to the ghost, and told her he was called Peeves. Apparently he might respect Sarah now he knows not to mess with her. They finally got to the Portrait. A fat lady said 'Password?' 'Leo' said Harry. Sarah looked round, and followed Hermione to the girls room. Sarah sat on her bed, and started to write a letter.

Sarah smiled and turned over, and sleep gently took her for the night.

Sarah woke up. Today was Saturday. She looked at her watch. It said 9:30. She looked over as Hermione stirred. They both got out of bed and Sarah pulled on her clothes. Suddenly her hair turned a behind-long cherry red. Hermione stared. Sarah concentrated and her hair went into a neon green bob. 'Wow, your a Metamorphmagus!' said Hermione. 'That must be why your hair curled so easily. You willed it to.' Sarah grinned, and decided to go for rainbow coloured little plaits. 'Lets see what Harry and Ron say.' Sarah said with her cheeky grin. They went down into the common room and found the boys waiting for them. Harry's jaw dropped. 'Sarah! What have you done to your hair?!' Ron exclaimed. 'You don't like?' Sarah asked hurt. 'How about this then!' She concentrated and her hair went into a black ponytail. Ron's draw dropped as well. 'I'm a Metamorphmagus. We found out this morning. Come on. I'm hungry!' Sarah leapt out of the portrait hole and they all went down to breakfast. Sarah sat down and pilled sausages and toast on her plate. 'Look who looking at you Sarah.' Hermione giggled. Sarah looked over and caught Draco staring. 'I think he likes you.' Hermione said. 'Your one of the few people who stand up to him.' 'And I think I am gonna puke. He finally got rid of the birds. Look he is coming over!' Sarah exclaimed. Harry and Ron pulled their wands out. Draco came over the their table. He scowled at Harry and Ron and motioned Sarah to come over here. 'Cool it boys, I'll hit him with birds if he tries to hurt me.' Sarah gigged and wandered over. 'Umm Sarah...' Draco began but Sarah cut him off. 'Look, lets forget about yesterday and start fresh.' said Sarah and she held out her hand. Draco took it and they shook. Sarah's hair turned a neon pink plait when she let go of Draco's hand. Draco stared. 'I'm a Metamorphmagus.' Sarah explained. 'I still haven't got the hang of controlling it properly. I'll get there.' she ran back to her table. Suddenly her owl came flying through the window. 'Ooo, Dad must of wrote back!' Sarah squealed. She took her letter, gave her owl some toast and opened her letter as her owl flew away.

'Did you really?' asked Ron. He had been reading the letter over her shoulder. 'Yes. Now come on, we have a weekend without homework. What do we do?' asked Sarahh

Let's have Neville Now...

Draco watched Harry, Ron, Hermione and Sarah walk out the door. He sighed. Where did he go wrong? Why didn't he cut her off and say what he felt? She was different to every other stinking pure-blood he had met. Different to all the other girls his mother had introduced him to, in the hope he may fall in love. He turned round so see Pansy staring at him, with love in her eyes. 'Yuck' he thought. The pug-faced girl, who was madly in love with him. He shuddered.

Neville bumped into Harry, Ron, Hermione and a girl with pink neon hair he didn't know. 'Hi Harry, Hi Ron, Hi Hermione, Hi... er...' he said. 'Sarah' sad the neon pink haired girl. 'Sarah.' repeated Neville. He had just met this girl, so why was there butterflies in his stomach? Sarah's hair turned a deep pink. Neville's mouth formed a perfect little 'O'. 'I'm a Metamorphmagus.' explained Sarah. 'Look!' She concentrated and her nose turned into a beak. All 3 boys fell about laughing. 'Quack.' Sarah said, and turned her nose back to normal.

Sorry it's short, I have got to go for teas

Sarah awoke. She looked at the date, and saw it was the first Hogsmeade weekend. She trembled and got out of bed to open her trunk and choose what to wear. She eventually choose the outfit her dad he brought her on the first day they had spent together, and looked in the mirror, deciding what to do with her hair and eyes, and went for shoulder length black hair like her dad, and hazel eyes, like her mother she had been told. She went down into the common room and sat in a chair waiting for Harry, Ron and Hermione to wake and come down. She settled herself into her book, and waited for them to wake. Eventually they came into the room, yawning and bleary-eyed. Sarah shut her book and looked at her watch. 'Really, it takes you lot 2 hours to get up? And I thought I could be bad on a mornings.' She enquired. 'Come on, I want to eat. Woman cannot survive the morning on chocolate alone.' 'I don't know how you manage Sarah.' Said Harry with a slight grin. After breakfast, they all lined up by Filch to go out. After a quick few checks they set off. 'Right who wants Honey-dukes?' Sarah asked. 'My secret supply is running low.' With laughter and agreeing from the other 3, they set off for the warmth of the shop, and emerged with big bags of sweets, which Hermione labelled and put in her small secret bag. They wandered down the street, when at the end, a big shaggy shape appeared at the end of the street. Sarah look at the shape, then at the 3 who had grins on their faces. 'What the...' she started before she was knocked over by the shaggy dog. She stared at the dog, then it gave her a big lick. 'Hello Sirius.' said Harry. 'Dad? Where!?' said Sarah, her head swivelling round. 'In front of you' said a voice, before a hand pulled her to her feet. 'Hello Dad. I take it you were the big dog?' Sarah asked Sirius. 'You got it.' Sirius replied with a grin, before pulling her into a rib crushing hug. 'Isn't he a bit old Sarah!' screeched a voice? Sarah turned round with disgust to see Pansy. 'Well, A. He's my Dad, and B. At least I can get a boyfriend because I don't look like a girl who took Polyjuice potion containing a pug hair.' Sarah retorted back, which wiped the smile from Pansy's face, and caused everyone to laugh as Pansy run away bright red. Sirius let go of Sarah. 'I've only been gone for 2 months dad, not 2 years.' Sarah said. 'When all you have is Kreacher round the house, it feels like 2 years.' said Sirius with a grin. 'Lets see the Metamorphmagus then' Sarah concentrated and her hair went into blond locks, then back to black shoulder length waves. She grinned up at her fathers face.

Sirius look at down at his daughters face with that cheeky grin he had missed so much. Suddenly the sky darkened. He pulled Sarah close to him as streams of Black flew and hit the ground. 'Hahahahah!' he heard a voice laugh he recognised as his cousin Bellatrix. Sarah buried her head in his chest. 'What's happening Dad!?' She asked, with terror in her voice. 'Oh look! It's my dear old Cousin Sirius! And whats this?' Bellatrix asked before Sirius felt Sarah pulled away by magic. 'No!' he gasped. He was not going to lose her again. 'It's my cousin's little girl! Well, I always like causing chaos. So I will be on my way with this little child. What say you Master?' Bellatrix asked, and to his horror, he heard a voice, a voice that terrified all who heard.
'I see no reason why. We always need new death eaters.' Said Voldemort. 'DAD!' Sarah screamed, and before he could get to her, she was gone, the darkness was gone, and all that was left of her was an echo in the wind. 'SARAH!' he yelled. Only a few moments ago he was hugging her, she was grinning up, then she had her head buried in his chest with fear. 'Sarah? SARAH?' yelled the trio. But she was gone, and he didn't know when he might see his baby girl again...

Sarah landed with a thump, inside a room. She sat there, dazed for a moment, before all the event came flooding back. 'Dad?' she asked, before she collapsed in a heap on the floor. She awoke later to find herself on a bed, with a blanket over her. She got off the bed, and tried to disapparate, but her attempts were fruitless. Cursing who ever put the Anti-Disapparition Jinx on this place, she attempted to look for other ways to escape, but the room only had a small window, which she could fit through, but the drop was a big one, a bed she had be lying on and a locked door, which was jinxed so alohomora would not open it. She reached into her pocket to find with great relief, her wand and a picture, which was of her and Sirius, happy, laughing, without a care in the world. She looked at the picture, sat on the edge of the bed, and cried herself to sleep.

Sirius sat in the middle of the meeting of what to be done about getting Sarah back. He pulled out a picture of him and Sarah {yes the same picture} and stared as if trying to communicate with Sarah from the picture. Everyone was talking, but it meant nothing to him. Nothing did anymore

Sarah awoke aruptedly. She had just seen Sirius at home, staring at that picture she had in her pocket. She reached in and her fingers touched an edge of mirror. Her heart leapt. It was one of the two mirror's Sirius had given her to communicate with him durning school. She held in front of her face, and said clearly 'Sirius Black.'

Sirius jumped as he heard his name. It had sounded like Sarah then. No, he was just so upset he imagined it. He jumped again as her voice said 'Dad? Are you there? Please answer me! I can see through your jacket pocket as it has a hole in it!' He pulled out the mirror from his pocket and looked at the tear stained face of his daughter, the watery hazel eyes that looked into his as a smile spread across her face. 'Sarah' he said, and the whole table look round to see the mirror, and all peered into it to see the face of Sarah, the girl who meant so much to them. 'Where are you!' Sirius asked. 'I don't know, I'll show you the window.' said Sarah, and she turned the mirror so they could all peer out of the window. Snape recognised the place, those peacocks! 'That Lucius Malfoy's house!' he stated. 'What! I will be killing Draco as soon as I get back to School.' Sarah said as she turned the mirror back to her face. Sirius left then, left them to talk about how to get Sarah out of the Manor. ' I want to get out of here. They have put a Anti-Disapparition jinx on this place. I want to come home.' said Sarah, tear welling up in her eyes. Sirius couldn't bear to see his girl cry, so he started soothing her until she eventually slipped into sleep, and the mirror went blank and all he could see was his own face.

Draco sat at a table, feeling sick at the fact he knew Sarah was contained upstairs, away from her family, her friend, her life. He couldn't bear to think what it must feel like to be away from his family. Well, not his Dad so much, but his mum, his mum whom he had told Sarah about, how he felt and how it sickened him at the thought, who right now was sitting next to him, with her arms round him, and Draco's head in his mum's chest. He felt something slip into his hand, looked down and saw it to be a key. He looked up at his mum, and she whispered 'Sarah'. He then knew it was one of the keys to Sarah's chamber. He slipped from the table, and padded up to Sarah's room. He unlocked the door, and saw Sarah on the bed, stirring with tear tracks down her face. He ran into the room and put his arms round her. She leant against him, and said' I want to go home, to Dad.' Draco went 'shh' and stroked her hair, going shh softly every now and then.

Narcissa looked through the crack in the door and saw her son with his arms round the girl, stroking her hair and whispering soft words to her, as she looked more relaxed in his arms. She realised maybe the path to her son's happiness was not cakes and sweets, but was a loving family and friends. He looked content there, and she felt a pang, that her cousin Sirius must be feeling, only 100x worse, for she knew how she would feel if her only child was taken.

Sarah felt more safe. Draco had his arms round her, he was stroking her hair and whispering words of comfort to her. She drifted off in his arms, with the feel of his hand on her hair, the sound of his voice... When she awoke, something was hitting the window. She pulled herself out of Draco's warm arms, for he had fallen asleep, went to the window, and her heart leapt to her throat. There was a crowd of people there, and her Dad. She hastily shook Draco, and he woke up. 'Wussgoingon?' he said. 'Dad's here to take me home. I have to go. See you at Hogwarts.' she said, and gave him a kiss. She opened the window. 'How do I get down?" she called. 'Jump! We will catch you!' her Dad called back. 'Goodbye Draco.' she whispered to Draco, climbed onto the frame of the window, and jumped. She felt herself fall, then stop. She was floating in mid-air. She gently floated down, into the waiting arms of her Dad. He hugged and she hugged him back, feeling as if she would never let go. She clung as he Disapparated, and they were safe back Home. She went to sleep in her Dad's bed, with the feel of his arms around her, and felt safe as she slept.

Sirius awoke. He thought of yesterday and panic filled his head at the thought of Sarah still stuck at the manor. Something stirred in his arms. He opened his eyes. To his relief, he saw it was Sarah, sleeping peacefully. He pulled her closer, and slipped into sleep once more.

Sarah awoke. She lay there for a moment, then opened her eyes. She was alone, in a bed. For a moment she thought it was at the Malfoy house, then looking round, saw it was her Dad's room. She got up, and went downstairs. Her Dad was on the sofa, reading a book. 'Daddy.' she said. 'Yes?' he asked, not turning round. 'Why don't you ever tell me about Mum?' she asked. Thud! Sirius dropped the book. 'If I haven't said now, I'm not planning on it.' he said. 'Why? Why? What is it about it you don't like? Yu don't really ever tell me stuff and yet you expect me to be your happy daughter! I'm 13 Dad, 13! I'm not a Child!' Sarah shouted, close to tears. 'This conversation is OVER!' Sirius yelled. Sarah stood there for a moment, tears threatening to pour out, then grabbed her Firebolt and ran out the door.

Sirius watched her run, feeling guilty. He had never yelled at her before. She had only wanted to know. She was right, she was not a child. She would be back in a few hours, like she always was, and then he wold tell her about her mum.

Sarah flew, and flew, flying yet not knowing where she was flying too. Eventually it became dark. She landed by a lake near the Weasley's house and the Malfoy Manor. Climbing into a tree, she laid on a brach 4x her size, and slept till morning. When she woke, she heard voices. She searched her coat pocket, and found an extendable ear. She lowered it down. 'He's really worried you know. She has never been away this long, two or three hours at the most. He thinks she may have actually run away this time.' said Harry. 'Don't worry, she will turn up soon. I hope.' said Draco and there was worry in both boy's voices. 'Oh my god! Draco and Harry have a civilised conversation. The worlds gone mad!' she thought. Snap! The branch holding Sarah broke, and she went tumbling down to land in front of the boys. 'Shish Kebabs.' she said picking herself up. 'Told you.' said Draco. 'Sarah!' said Harry, and before she could blink, Harry had pulled her into a rib-crushing hug. 'Oww... I... can't... breath...'' she spluttered. 'Where have you been, Sirius is worried out of his mind!' he asked. 'In a tree! You saw me fall out!' she said, wiggling out of Harry's arms. 'Lets go home. I think I was a bit over the top.' she said. Both Harry and Sarah got on the broom. Draco said He would walk back. They flew off to her home.

Sirius looked out the window, fear and guilt gnawing his stomach. If only he hadn't yelled at her, she would be safe and happy. He looked out, rubbed his eyes and looked again. A broom had landed on the lawn. And getting off was... Sarah!

Sarah got off the broom. She heard the front door open. She jumped onto the ground when she was pulled off it again, into a hug that smelt of 'Dad!' she choked. 'Sarah! I've been worried sick! Where were you?' he breathed into her ear. 'She was in a tree, she wouldn't of been fond if her branch hadn't snapped and fallen out with her.' said Harry, grinning. 'What! A Tree! You spent the night in a tree!' said Sirius, still holding Sarah tightly. 'Yep.' Sarah said. 'You must be freezing! Lets get you inside.' he said. Sarah grinned at Harry, who said he was back off to Ron's house. Sirius shut the door, and refused to put Sarah down till he sat on the sofa. He pulled her onto his lap. 'Right, what do you want to know about your Mum?' he said. 'Who was she, and were is she now?' Sarah asked. Sirius said 'Well...'

'Your mum and I met in Hogwarts. I was a Gryffindor, and she a Hufflepuff. We met and we stated dating. We eventually got married. A year later, she had you. She was called Samantha, I was called Sirius, so we went for another S name. Sarah came up, and we called you Sarah. One day, your mother was at work, and I was at home, looking after you, when your mum called. She was in trouble. I left you at home, knowing that only the Order could get in, and they all loved you. I regretted that for a long time. When I arrived, your mum was there facing a crown of Death Eaters. I ran forward and started firing spell at them, as they fired back. In the chaos, one of us hit your mum. I cried then, and took her body to the same Graveyard as Lily ad James Potter. I buried her next to them. I went home, vowing to protect you with my life. But when I got home, you were gone. I interrogated Kreacher and learned his 'Mistress' had told him to take you to an orphanage, but had said not to tell me. I felt like life just wasn't worth living. Thats why I didn't tell you. I just wanted you to be happy, and safe. I didn't want to lose you like I lost your mum.' Sirius finished. Sarah sat there. She realised her eyes were blurry. Tears spilled out, Sirius pulled her against him, and put his arms around her as she wept.

Sirius sat there, his arms round his baby girl as she sat there sobbing. ''I've made you top all soggy.' she sniffled. 'It's Ok, it was going to wash.' he said. The door rang. 'Come on, lets go see who it is.' Sirius said. He went over the the door, and opened it. 'Hello Sirius. Now, where is that God-Daughter of mine? I have some chocolate for her.' wondered Lupin, standing at the door. 'Remus!' Sarah shrieked and gave her God-father a hug. 'Hello Bon-Bon.' Remus said, giving her a hug back. Sirius smiled and said. Hello Remus. I'll got get Sarah's case. It's packed upstairs.' He went up he stairs and into Sarah's room. He saw her Diary, left open. Hew grabbed it,thinking she would want it, then looked as he saw his name.
'I can't tell Dad what I did at the Orphanage. It's the reason when we went to London no kid wanted to be near me.
Sirius frowned as he stuffed it in Sarah's suit case.

That was cute Kreacher is evil. I wonder what she did at the orphanage...

'Thanks Dad!' said Sarah, as Sirius handed her her suitcase. 'Love you lots.' said Sirius, giving her a hug. Sarah waved and shut the door behind her. She always went with Remus for a month. She loved him as much as she loved her dad. He was like a second parent. A month passed pretty fast, and she soon found herself packing her things to go back home. Then, it was the same suitcase to go back to Hogwarts. Nothing much did happen. he wrote to her Dad, saying she was staying at Hogwarts for xmas, to be with her mates and god-family. She went to Bed on Xmas eve, thinking what her first christmas would be with her family will be like. She woke up in the morning to two large Cracks! Pulling her draped back, she found a stack of presents and two house-elfs at the foot of her bed with more presents. 'If I knew I was going to get company, I would of been better dressed.' she smiled. Kreacher bowed low. He had 2 presents. She took the top one. It was from her Dad. She took the paper off to revel a black box. She opened it and gasped. It was a gold necklace, saying Sarah, with black jewels dotted in it. She took the next. It was from Kreacher. Opening it was a picture of her as a baby, her dad, and a mousey haired woman with hazel eyes, in a frame mended with Sellotape. 'Oh Kreacher.' she said, before giving the house-elf a hug. 'Kreacher must return home, for Master Sirius was clear Kreacher was to give the presents to Mistress Sarah and come back. But Kreacher is glad the Mistress Sarah likes Kreacher's Present.' said the elf, before disappearing with a crack. 'Dobby next!' said the next house-elf. He only had the one present. Sarah opened and found knee-high socks, one black and red, one purple and black. 'Dobby made them himself! Dobby has to go, for the kitchen is busy for christmas dinner!' said Dobby before disappearing with a crack. Sarah grinned and delved into the rest of her presents. Harry, an iPad he had charmed so it never ran out of battery , Ron some Goal-keppers gloves, Hermione a writing set, Fred and George a big box of joke stuff, Hagrid a big Crate of Homey-dukes sweets, Bill some black dragon hind-boots, Ginny, a book on Jinxes and Hexes for enemies (Sarah made a mental note to use some on Pansy) and Lupin a pad of paper that never ran out of pages, a pencil that never needed to sharpen and a pack of 50 gel pens that never ran out of ink. Sarah smiled and got dressed. She wore a Black pair of Denim Shorts, her new socks, her boots, an off the shoulder top saying 'I'm Unique. Gotta problem with it?' and her black leather jacket. Looking in her mirror, she went for Black thigh length with red streaks, and a finger with just the one streak down the left, and blue eyes. She went down to the common room. 'Hello! I'm here, the person that makes your life so great!' she announced to the 6 people that were alone in the common room waiting for her. 'Can you enter a room quietly?' asked Ginny. 'Nope, I don't think so.' said Sarah. 'How did you get an iPad Harry! They cost £700, because you got one with wifi and is 36GB!' she exclaimed. 'Magic can get you anything. Wait outside an Apple shop for a while, under an certain cloak, accio it as someone enter and hey presto you have an iPad.' Harry said. 'Oh how I love you my God-Brother.' Sarah said, hugging him.

Haha, that was cute Kreacher may have redeemed himself slightly with his present, but I still want to know why he took her to the orphanage and what not... PLEASE PAMS!

That night, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Fred, George, Ginny and Sarah sat in the common room, in their night clothes. Sarah was wearing a new pair of pyjamas as a late christmas present from Draco had arrived. It was a pair of black silky long pyjamas. She sat in the common room, playing on her new iPad and listening to music through the headphones that had come with it, when the fireplace said 'Hello.' 'Hello Dad.' said Sarah, putting down the iPad. 'Happy Christmas.' 'Happy christmas to you too.' said Sirius. 'See you are wearing the necklace I gave you.' 'Is it real onyx jewels?' asked Hermione. 'Of course it is! I'm not fobbing my daughter off with anything less.' said Sirius. 'I need some answers from you.' he said, suddenly looking serious. Sarah looked at her dad for a moment, before it dawned on her. That's why her diary had been in her suitcase, even thought she didn't remember putting it in there. 'You didn't. You did! A diary is a girl's privacy!' she cried. ' I know, I am disgusted with my self, but I need the answers from you.' Sirius said, looking ashamed with himself. 'It's difficult, you don't know what life was like back them.' said Sarah. 'I'm listening.' Sirius said. 'You may hate me.' she whispered. 'I'm willing to take that chance. How can I hate you?' said Sirius. Sarah took a deep breath. 'Well...'
'Back in the orphanage, I was bullied a lot, because I could do things, that the others couldn't. They hurt me, and took the money that the orphanage gave you for lunch. At dinner, the would push me out the way so I would get the scraps that were left. So one day, I was sitting on the bed, eating what I had salvaged from the dustbins from the all-you-could-eat-buffet down the road, three boys came barging into my room, demanding my money. I shut my eyes. I was sick of it, I imagined them on the floor screaming and withering, when a scream opened my eyes. They were on the floor, screaming and withering, just as I had imagined. I had stopped imagining it, so they got up and ran to go tell the house mistress. She locked me in the cellar for a week, with no food and just a glass of water a day. That is what happened.' finished Sarah. Sirius looked at her.

Sirius looked at his daughter. He felt a wave of the parental care wash over him, as he heard her story. 'You had every reason to do that. And no control.' he said firmly. Sarah smiled, as her dad pulled his head back out of the fire. 'Poor Sarah.' said George. Fred looked over. He got up, and walked over. 'Sarah, could I talk to you for a second?' he asked. 'Sure. If anyone touches the iPad, they will die.' she added to the group. Fred took her to a corner of the common room, where no one could see them. 'Fred, what is..' Sarah started, before Fred kissed her. She kissed him back. After a few moments, they broke apart. 'Oo la la. Mr Weasley, I must inform you that your kiss is addicting.' Sarah whispered. 'Need I say, yours is as well, Miss Black. I have wanted to do that for ages, but I was a bit scared that you wouldn't like me.' said Fred. Sarah stared at him, and looking into his brown eyes, realised that she did like him. It was a feeling that had lain dormant for many years, and had suddenly erupted like a volcano. 'Oi! You two! What are you doing back there, snogging each other?' yelled Ron. 'Shall we tell?' said Sarah. 'I see no reason why not.' said Fred, taking her in his arms. Grasping her hand, Fred walked out with Sarah. 'What the bloody hell...' started Ron before he stopped. He looked at their intwined hands. 'You were snogging each other then?' said Harry, a grin on his face, an eyebrow raised. 'Not snogging! Just kissing.' said Sarah. 'Just kissing the girl I have loved since I met her.' said Fred, pulling Sarah close. 'I was thinking. Well, I have listened, and I have heard some of the guys are making bands. How about we give it a shot?' asked Hermione. Everyone stared. 'Who are you, and what have you done with Hermione?' asked Ron. 'We can give it a shot.' said Sarah. She looked round. 'Who can do what?' she asked the room. 'I play the Keyboard.' said Hermione. 'I can do Drums.' said Harry. ' I can play Guitar.' said Sarah. 'We still need a singer.' said Harry. 'Sarah can do that. I heard you singing, your great.' said Hermione. 'Sing us a song.' said Fred. 'Come on!' added George. Sarah grinned and walked dover to the iPad. She found the song. She pressed play.

Sarah finished. The whole common room burst into applause. Everyone had came back from dinner and listened. Sarah turned a rose pink before sitting down again. 'Encore! Encore!' chanted Lee Jorden before everyone started chanting it. 'Calm it! I'll sing again!' said Sarah. Selecting another song, she pressed play.

Sitting down she grinned at the group. 'Thats it then. What we calling the group?' said Hermione. 'Harry and the Gryffindors?' harry suggested. 'You've been in the spotlight too long, Casanova. How about Sarah and the Gryffindors?' suggested Fred. 'I heard about the group Draco and the Slytherins.' said Sarah. 'I heard about Cedric and the Hufflepuffs. And about Luan and the Ravenclaws. I think we need a battle of the bands.' said Ron

All too soon, the days of Practice had passed, and the Battle was upon them. 'Oh crap, I have never sang in front of a live crowd of people before. I feel I will go wrong.' said Sarah, in her outfit. She wore a black shirt with a red skull and crossbones one, her dobby socks, the boots she got for christmas, and a black punk skirt. Her hair was blond and long, and had black streaks. 'You look great.' said Fred coming in. He gave her a kiss. 'Good luck.' he whispered. Suddenly Sarah found the strength she needed. She went downstairs. 'Guess who I saw in the crowd!' said Ginny, flying in. 'Who!' said Harry. 'Oh just Sirius and Lupin!' squealed Ginny. 'Oh my!' said Sarah, and she would of fallen if George hadn't caught her. 'Thanks.' Sarah said, standing up. She looked round at her band. She pointed to the back of the fat lady. 'Lets go and win!' Sarah said. The band all ran out, clutching guitars and Harry his Drum sticks as the drums would just change on the stage according to the band. Sarah grabbed her microphone. 'Good luck!' said the Fat lady as she watched them run. They skidded outside the side entrance to the stage. Dumbledore stood there, as did Draco and his band, Cedric and his and Luna, looking calm, and her band. 'Sarah and the Gryffindors are up first.' said Dumbledore. Sarah grinned and opened the door. They ran onto the stage. '3, 2, 1!' said Sarah and they started.

They ended and the hall was deafened with applause. They exited, as Draco entered. After a few minuets they exited, and Luna went in. Finally they came out, as Cedric went back. Dumbledore called them all on stage. 'We have a tie. So will the following two band please do their second songs. Draco and the Slytherins, and... Sarah and the Gryffindors.' Luna and Cedric went off as did the two others. 'Let's rock this house!' said Sarah and they ran back on. '1, 2,3!' and started.

Sarah finished and bowed, and they ran off. Draco went back on. After he came off, they were called back on. 'And the winner is...' said Dumbledore, holding an envelope while McGonnagel hold the trophy. '... Sarah and the Gryffindors!' said Dumbledore. Sarah's band jumped and yelled, as did the hall, and Sarah took the trophy, with her grin on her face, and the big fat bag of Gallons. 'There is 90,000 gallons in there. Use them well.' smiled Dumbledore, as the crowd cheered for them to jump. 'Why not?' said Harry and putting their things down the jumped into the crowd, Sarah clinging to the trophy and Gallons. They reached her Dad and Lupin. Sirius looked at his daughter with pride, as did Lupin. She grinned as they pulled her into a hug. 'Encore! Encore!' yelled the crowd. The band ran onto the stage. Sarah whispered the song. '1, 2, 3!'

Sarah threw her microphone in the air, and caught it, as she bowed.
