Bright and shining with a variety of different colors, Simply Stylish Salon sits towards the entrance of Hogsmeade's street where all can see. The funky hair salon looks more to be built out of plastic than the usual wood and stone one would see down the street. Decked out with greens, blues, and oranges on the outside with a handful of fun decoration shapes such as stripes, triangles, and stars, this shop is anything but ordinary!
On the inside, you are immediately hit with wizard rock music playing through the shop as the yellows, reds, and orange colors and new assortment of flowing shapes, most notable of them all being the 'swirl', take your attention. A plush waiting area to the side holds comfortable couches and a clear glass table that sits upon a very fluffy rug that feels more like a cloud than anything. Hair styling magazines lay upon the tables as oddly shaped shelves of products the store sells line the walls.
Just before the styling stations is the receptionist desk, white and bizarrely shaped. The six styling stations themselves are both uniform and distinct in their own ways, each having a different shade of color as it's theme while the hair washing stations in the back are tranquil with blues and purples. Monte himself seems to blend into his surroundings as he is quite a colorful man, but never fear. Despite his unusual look, he is quite brilliant and talented at what he does!

Echo turned around hearing someone say red or brown? ohhh it seemed like a young ravenclaw needed some advice, Echo needed some too but meh she'd help this girl out no problem. "what about a redish brown?" could she recommend a green? green always looks nice with blonde hair. But she doubted that this young girl wanted to have green in her hair.
"what color clothes do you wear most?" she asked, because brown would look better with blues but red would kind of clash with it. Tossing her own hair behind her head she eyeballed the girl, she seemed to have a good sense of style. potential new shopping buddy??? maybe
That was a joke right? "Black, I guess. School robes," she offered as an explanation. "Outside school, I'm not sure I have a specific color I wear more than the rest..." Perhaps she had a few more black tops than any other color, but did that really count?
The girl did have a point though. Red would stand out more with the black robes they were forced to wear almost everyday. "I think red then." She nodded and put the brunette potion back on the shelf. Maybe she should grab more of the same red? "Do you know how long they typically last? Oh, and I'm Hadley, by the way." The second year continued to survey the shelves of potions, grabbing one for silky hair, and a set of shampoo and conditioner. "So what are you getting done?"

"well if you wear alot of black then either color will work" telling the girl. "its always hard to find a color that you want to put in your hair. a few years back my hair was purple and it was a big mistake because it clashed with alot of my outfits." she knew never to make that mistake again. ughh it was horrible, Echo tried to find any pictures of herself with that color and burn it.
"yeah red would be fine" smiling at her "Echo, nice to meet you" another hadley! wonder if she had the same nickname as her friend. "and im not quite sure yet? im not sure if i want a color in my hair" as she said this she looked over to the color samples "the last time i got my hair done it lasted for a while but cant remember the exact lenght." she confessed as she kept on talking, first time she wasnt rude to an other person right off the bat.
"and im debating on a cut as well, nothing to crazy just a little bit of length off, what do you think?" girl seemed really easy to get along with even though she did seem younger and a claw.
Hadley was still debating between getting the extra red hair potions. "Echo? Cool name. It's nice to meet you too." She flashed a smile at the girl, and then, based on what Echo was saying decided to get another red hair potion. If she needed to get another down the line she could always sneak out via the secret passage.
Hadley dropped the potion into her basic with the rest, and turned toward Echo. "Hmmm." The Californian blonde approached slowly, tilting her head slightly as she studied the other girl. "I think maybe shoulder length would look great. Maybe just above the shoulders." Probably a bit more dramatic than she planned, but it could look really amazing.

ohh around the shoulders!!! that could work, girl should always be with her while shes picking out hair styles. "ohh nice! i was also thinking of color, but my hair is such a deep chocolate brown its hard to find something that will stand out.... but i was thinking a little bit of green?? you know because of slytherin... have to represent!" hopefully this claw didnt think she was cray cray.
"but im not 100 percent settled on the green, what do you think?" more advice please!!!!!
"I guess in a way I'm representing my true house too." Because she was still convinced the hat made a mistake and put her in the wrong house, even if she was starting to see how she belonged in Ravenclaw. Hads still, and always would, feel like a Gryffindor first.
"Hmmm..." Hadley took a step back and studied the girl. "Depends on the shade of green I think." She returned to the hair potion and began browsing the shades of green. "Any color works if you find the right shade." She gave the other girl an exaggerated nod. "Ah, here we are." Hads pulled down a very rich shade of forest green. "Have the stylist use this color." That'll work nicely for her hair.
Hadley stopped to browse the selections of reds again after passing the potion to Echo. "So, Echo huh? Are your parents Greek mythology buffs or just liked the sound of it?" She grabbed another shade of red off the shelves. "Should I go dark red, or a more natural ginger color?"

ohhh interesting, Echo was getting some inside information. "cool" she didnt want to house bash but Slytherin was the house to be in but hey if this claw wanted to be a lion then that was all on her.
"girl you have great style" she just had to point it out. "that color is amazing" It would go perfectly with her hair, and school robes.
"no, my dads more of a scientist. its echo location, like sound waves or something like that?" her father couldnt be any more of a science nerd, he was a bit sad because Echo didnt like the sciences like him, but more a lover a fashion like her mother. Sorry dad.
"you should do a dark red" Echo didnt really like the ginger hair color, sorry red heads. but highlights of dark red would work nicely on her hair. Searching the options Echo pulled one out. "ohhh this one looks like it would work perfectly" yassssss, this was starting to be so much fun.
Hadley smiled and took the dark red potion that Echo picked out and compared it to the two she'd picked out. The ginger one went back on the shelf instantly. She didn't have an issue with ginger hair, she actually liked it, but Hads agreed with Echo.
Still she compared the dark red shade she'd picked out. They were both good, but the more Hadley examined them, the more she liked the one Echo picked out. After a minute, Hadley put hers back on the shelf and kept Echo's. "Thanks. I think this is the perfect shade." She was still debating whether or not to actually go through with dying her hair. It was a big step after all, and she wasn't sure how she'd look exactly. But it was also something she felt strongly about doing.

yay! Hadley went with the potion she had picked out for her. "i think its going to look amazing" ahahah she couldnt help but laugh. "thats exactly where it came from" giggling..
"no no no, my father is a wizard but he loves to play with muggle science, mostly sound frequencies or what ever he does" she could never remember what her father did on his free time.
"we dont know why he loves it so much but, thanks for the name dad" Echo didnt hate her name but it was surely a weird one. Putting her free hand in her pocket she found some candy!! sweet a chocolate frog to be exact! her luck was defiantly changing for the better today! "score!!! i have chocolate" wondering if her new friend wanted some "do you want to share it?" look at her, being all full of manners and kindness.
"Yeah," she said with a nod. "I think it will too. I just need a change, you know?" Ah, so Echo's parents, or at least her father, was magical. Lucky. "I'm the only one in my immediate family that's magical. My Dad especially doesn't understand the magical world. I think he's scared of it." There was a tinge of bitterness in her voice. She come to that conclusion only recently, but it still didn't excuse putting her on house arrest all summer.
Hads shook her head at the offer of chocolate, despite wanting it. She'd already broke the no sweets rule with those cookies from the three broomsticks. "Can't. I'm training to be an animagus and for some reason, you can't have sweets while training. Or caffeine." She was already feeling like a dope forgetting the rule previously this weekend. Didn't need to break it again. "But, thanks for the offer." In her mind she replayed what she'd said for a moment. "Well, training myself. Professor Ichihara refuses to train me because I'm 'too young and immature.'" The Californian teen rolled her eyes with a scoff. "So, I'm training myself. What year are you again?" she asked curiously.
