She held in a grin as he promised on this adventure thing. He's made several of those, and so far he's kept them all, so she didn't doubt him. "I'll be looking forward to it, then."

Did her brother HAVE to go THERE. Beverly shot him a right GLARE. If it hurt his feelings it wasn't her fault because he was being stupid. Just because Jeremiah was adventurous didn't mean Kennedy had to take her out of school. What's the worst that could happen? Pffft.
"Just wait until--" Oh. There was Ana, never mind.
"Hello," she greeted, her expression softening as she went to stand next to Kennedy. Under-handedly, she thumped him in the arm.

First a glare and then violence. Kennedy rubbed his arm where Beverly had punched him. It didn't hurt, just...why?! Did she really just assault him over a BOY. Merlin, he didn't like this. Not one bit.
Looking up from his little sister, Kennedy smiled at Ana. Good. She was here, could she take her pesky brother away now, please? "Hi, nice seeing you here." It was.
Lots of things were happening and for one he was so grateful for Ana walking up right now cause he was sure that Kennedy would do him in. Rocking on the balls of his feet he let go of his niece as she went over to Ana before glancing up at the clock

Huffing some he pushed his trolley forward a bit, unable to make words cause he was so flustered at the moment. He was however able to make out the cries for him from his niece. Every. Term. she did this and every term it got harder and harder with her being able to speak.
No NO No she didn't want to leave him again! he'd be gone for forever and she didn't want to let him go! HE wasnt allowed!!! He was smirking at her. Welp. She didn't know what that meant, but there was no way she was going to protest. Using his arm as leverage, Beverly climbed back on the trolley, sat on her truck and put her shades back on. Cool-mode: On.

After sending a small wave at Ana and McKayla, Beverly shot Jeremiah a grin. Was he okay?
Yeah, yeah, he could tell the boy was happy. And yes, Beverly was confused. He had sooo surprised them. Kennedy like that, the element of surprise, but that had not been the reason he was doing this. At the end of the day his sister was growing up and she was going to make friends. It was better to keep them close than have her sneaking off with whomever it was.

“Y—Yeah. Crazy, huh?” he said with a soft chuckle as he looked back up at the girl. “It arrived toward the end of summer.” And honestly, he was still a little shocked about it. And excited. And possibly a little nervous. But mostly only happy feelings. Still, he could see the hesitation building up on his friend’s features, and he gave her a reassuring smile. “I’m not going to be some fun-ruining tyrant now, y’know.”
At the girl’s following compliment, Louis bowed playfully. “That’s quite flattering coming from you.” But really, he had yet to prove himself very… Lion-esque. Whatever, the Sorting Hat was never wrong, was it?
When Paloma went on to share a bit of her history with him, Louis listened attentively, taking in the new information with large, curious blue eyes. There was a time Pal actually wasn’t even interested in magic?! That was definitely a first. The boy had never heard of a witch or a wizard being indifferent toward their own power; though, seeing as Paloma was so dedicated to the performing arts, he could see how she had become distracted.
“And now you’re a pro at charms,” he pointed out with an amused grin. Seriously, how did she go from neglecting her magic to becoming even better than most witches and wizards that studied magic in school since childhood? Clearly, the Sorting Hat had made no mistake with her. “I’m glad you decided to come, though…” he added, less playfully and more honestly.
At her confused expression a moment later, Louis laughed lightly.
“Yeah, I was going to an all-boys’ school for my first four years,” he explained with a shrug, as if it was some long distant memory. Which it was, because for some reason he felt like he’d been attending Hogwarts all his life. It was strange but nice.

Kennedy smirked at the guy. Yeah, there was only one boy here, which was him, and one man, which was Kennedy. He kept that to himself for the time being, though. It'd start World War Three if he mentioned it.
Can he just say one thing? He sister was being utterly adorable trying to be all cool. Hmm. Maybe he would get her that thing he talked over with Johnathan. She was ready for it.
Making their way toward the Wall, Kennedy briefly glanced back at the boy to make sure he was following. Since he was part of the group now, he'd have to go through the torture check-list Kennedy had been going to through with Bev before they had been interrupted.
Taking a deep breath, he started, "So both of you have your wand? Parchments? Quills? Uniforms? Books? Backpacks? Snacks?"
Arista was still looking around how did she not ask how to find the platform, was she stupid!! Ugh she wanted to go find her parents but they probably apparated away already... Or something! She sighed she needed some one to help her. Sighing she looked down at her owl who was enjoying the safety underneath the blanket over her cage.
She was just about to give up and go home when she heard someone shout! No owl! She had to be magical... She walked over and whispered and got nice close. "Do you know what Hogwarts is?" That was a good question, if she knew then she could obviously tell her how to get there and if she didn't then she would just look like a crazy person!
Leah was at a lost to what to do. Send a message back home and get the owl? She decided on doing that on the train and shook her head. Surely her parents were going to be mad at her for forgetting her pet again. Maybe a Howler. The second year turned her trolley to the barrier when she heard a voice.
It was the red-head next to her. "Oh hello, and you don't need to whisper. I know what that is, and I won't treat you like a weirdo." She winked at the little girl. "Do you need help getting on the platform? You look a tiny little bit lost." Leah was willing to help, of course. She was a first year expert.

That was a total lie but he didn't expect Toby to know any different. Besides Theo was sure that he could convince a teacher to give out his detentions. He was a persuasive kid when he wanted to be.
Theo squinted at the kid's bag when it started making jangling and shifting noises. "Good luck opening that later." He couldn't think of anything worse........... mess on the first day.
Anyway, what was the time? The train was suuuuure to be coming soon.

Justine was alone as she walked through the crowded square of King's Cross station, her father was supposed to have been with her, but something had come up ("A work thing," he'd said with apologetic eyes, before sending the young girl on her way). Strangely enough, she wasn't disappointed, she wasn't even annoyed, if anything she felt a cool resignation.
Though, she couldn't help thinking it would have been nice to have her father around, at least to help her with her trunk.. Justine shook her head, physically shaking the sentimental thoughts from her mind, this wasn't the time, nor the place for a pity party and as Justine dragged her to the trolley cart, she straightened out her back and held up her head, all former signs of melancholy wiped from her visage.

Angel giggled, the guy could call her Ang, or anything he wanted, she didn't care. "I'm going to be in my first year." Angel beamed, she had no idea why but the guy was making her heart beat funny, she wasn't used to this sort of thing.
"So how do I get onto the platform?" Angel whispered to the kid, "I really, really, really want to go there now." Angel hoped the guy would show her like right now, she had totally forgot about the guy she had offended because she was like wondering why she couldn't take her eyes of this guy.
Bay wasn't taking the girl's words very well and Ben couldn't totally fault him for not enjoying being thought of as old. They both had been effected by the aging mishap of last term and apparently the elder lion wasn't as recovered from the inner turmoil as he was. Maybe it was cause he was closer to being older then Benny himself? Nevertheless, Bay moved to walk away and the girl took it badly like she had done something wrong.
"I'm...I'm not sure it was offense..."he remarked, trying to assure her it wasn't all her fault. "But its a long story...don't worry about it." Plus it was getting late as a glance at the nearest station clock revealed and they should probably be heading to the platform anyway. There was no way he was going to get stuck on the wrong side of the barrier and miss the train. And he couldn't just leave her...Angel.
"Nice to meet you," he said returning her greeting. Something they probably should have done earlier. "The name's Benjamin Atreyu, but most call me Ben." No Benny please...only Adi could get away with that nickname. As for how they got to the platform.
"Follow me," Benny instructed, taking a hold of his belongings once more and guiding them and hopefully Angel following him in amongst the people on the Platform 9 side to get in between the pillars in a more secluded area.

"Wow," Toby said in an awestruck voice. Having the power to give out detentions basically meant that Theo was basically of teacher status, which meant Tobias had the utmost respect for him. Not that he didn't respect non-teachers, but you know. Earning that badge was obviously a huge thing.
Realising he'd gone over all glassy-eyed, Toby suddenly shook himself back to and looked down at his bad as well. He couldn't think of a suitable response, so he just grinned kinda sheepishly. "Yeaaaah..."
Over Theo's shoulder, Tobias could see a large clock up on the wall. Noting the time, he bent down to grab a strap of his bag and got ready to hoist it. "Well, I'm gonna head onto the platform. Need to say goodbye to my grandma before getting on the train."
He hoisted up the bag again, waiting to see if Theo was gonna come with or stick around here, to Head Boy up the place.

Caelen made it to the platform, huffing and puffing. okay, maybe Nate WAS a good thing to have. At least he helped you get to the platform on time. Not like her iiiiidddiiiot brother who couldn't find his pants this morning. And besides that, the twelve year old couldn't sleep last night for excitement and was now incredibly tired. It didn't help that Rockwell was doing some stupid potion all night and all the brace face could hear was bubbling and hissing and stupid noises like that. Seriously, how could they be related? She was mostly organized and neat, and he was.... Rockwell. The redhead shook her head in exasperation once more, feeling her red hair shake around her thin shoulders. Wow, that was a new feeling. The freckle faced girl was used to non moving braids, not moving straight hair.
Anyway, onto the train for her second year of Hogwarts! Oh, she couldn't stop smiling! The five foot two girl wouldn't be among the youngest. Although, sh wouldn't be among the oldest, the smart child was almost there. Just a long way to go. And besides that, she got to learn new things with her two best friends! Yes, when Caelen told Rockwell about the whole Spencer thing, he started to laugh at first. Then he got serious and demanded to meet Spencer, even though he met the boy several times. Forgetful one, wasn't he? After that it was a lot of promises to be safe and to write home every day and tell more about this crush --which she TOTALLY didn't have--and then he would let her go. Annoying, much? At least he didn't tell mom. Mom didn't approve of dating until fifth year or more, and that was only if she was doing super in school and learning lots. Uggh.
Speaking of the dork and Paige, where were they? Well, first, she should probably find Nate. And that wasn't even had to do, because they were always surrounded by Nate. Who was easy to spot in a crowd. Being like six feet tall and about three million pounds did not make you good at hide and seek pal. And sure enough, through her tired blue eyes, she finally saw him and his two cohorts. And Spencer had tripped. Hahaha, was he okay?
Dragging her bags over, Caelen knelt beside her blond friend --JUST friend-- and helped him collect things. And while she was helping, the kid smiled and looked up at Paige.
"Hey, girl! Excited to go to Hogwarts?" Stifle a yawn. Because that wasn't attractive. She learned to do most things nicely, but yawning and eating were not among them. She yawned like a giraffe eats, and if you don't know what it looks like, it's not pretty.
"Excited?" Was that rhetorical question? "Of course, aren't you?" She knelt to help Spencer pick up what he'd dropped and engaged in conversation, "I'm ecstatic. I'm pumped. I'm so overjoyed, I may just split my seams." She went to pat the trunk that was supposed to be at her side, but forgot it was back with Nate. She just smiled brightly, first for that day, and cocked her head to the side.
The anticipation she'd felt for her first year, her first day had kept her up all throughout the previous couple nights. This resulted in bags under her eyes and a yawn that escaped her uncannily. She'd thought of brooms (which she was absolutely terrified of, but fascinated nonetheless) and black cats that could talk (though, it's easy to be misguided with an adoptive brother like Spencer).
The summer had been hella fetch but it was more than that. A time to reflect for a change which was a strange thing to do for the now to be Fifth year. HEH it even SOUNDED boring in her mind. It was needed though especially considering this was the year she truly needed to grow up some. Not that she was totally immature before...just a little loud or with a lack of seriousness but HEY fun was fun, she wasn't ever going to give that up. Instead she had decided she would learn how to have fun whilst focusing on the necessary aspects of life at the same time such as looking more FAB and SWAG with a snapback cap and NEW BRUNETTE hair getting acceptable grades in her OWLs.
This was her year, well actually her fifth year but the used to be Fairy Abbi Campi was going to make it THE YEAR. THE IT YEAR. Got it? YEAH? Good.
Beaming as usual the newly made brunette made her way across the platform. Her kitty followed and as for the parents, she'd long ago waved goodbye to them; she didn't need no baby sitting. FIFTH YEAR over here AHEM. The straddling continued.
Again. IT YEAR. So HELLO people of Hogwarts. She so hoped they were staring cause she was HELLA swagging it out.
[color="#08088A"]Oliver looked around the public square in awe. He couldn't believe today was the day! HE WAS FINALLY LEAVING FOR HOGWARTS!!! It felt like he'd been waiting for this day since he was at least one, but the longing to leave for Hogwarts had grown within the past year. He'd finally get to hang out with Cordy all the time and he and Timmy would have so much fun! And maybe he'd even try out for the quidditch team. Hogwarts was going to be AWESOME and this was just the start of it![color]

It was inevitable that her mother would catch up and kiss all over her face in front of someone important, but at least for now, she was cool... and running. Was running cool?
And then she was running into someone, and Dot went flying. Nimbus went flying too, although in another direction. "EEEEEP." Eeeping was NOT cool.
Sigh. "Sorry. My eyes weren't running as fast as my feet were." She scrambled to her feet and immediately realized that Nimbus had gone hiding somewhere. "Have you seen a gray cat with big eyes and ears and a sulky disposition?"

The walk of swag gave Abbi the greatest feeling in the world, like she was the on top of it, on top of everything. Or perhaps getting bumped into by everything too....
The 'Eepster' got a good up and down look before Abs decided to act chilled. It wasn't like it was a huge thing that just happened, no need to make a scene and mind you the girl DID say sorry with no attitude and whatnot.
"Girl, you better train those eyes, you never know what good looks are out there to see." Aka BOYS with beautiful bodies or faces or both or really just BOYS. "Happens though, so it's cool." As for the cat, she saw nothing of it hence why a head-shake was given towards the girl. "I've got some time to spare, want help finding the kitty?" Now this was being nice times a million, hopefully the youngster would appreciate it.

Speaking of brothers, did he get lost already? Whirling around, the fourteen year old squinted back and shook her head. "Can you walk any slower? At this rate you're gonna have to take me to Hogwarts directly if the train leaves without me."

'Platform 9 3/4? This doesn't make any sense! How can there possibly be 3/4 of a platform here? Oh, these pe...erm, muggles, are gettingin my way and bothering me. I just would like to find the stupid platform.' Hermy's parents (muggles) walked her towards the platforms 9 and 10 hoping she might know what to do. After watching a few more experienced witches and wizards (very obvious by their lack of style and ability to match clothes) find their way through what appeared to be a random barrier. Taking a careful look around, hermy put her hand against what was supposedly a barrier, but her hand went straight through it. Sighing, she turned around and said her goodbyes to her parents. After a tearful goodbye, she awkwardly and worriedly found her way through the barrier.

It was hard not to be in a hurry, and it was hard not to miss something when she WAS in a hurry, but Dot was willing to slow down at the older girl's suggestion. It was hard to be patient and observant and all that STUFF, but Dot was a third year now and needed to learn those grown up traits.
"I haven't seen anything good yet today, except I saw a fish and chips place that looked pretty decent even if it is way too early for chips." Dot dropped to her knees and crawled under the nearest bench in search of Nimbus, but she was still talking to the girl. Dot liked having an audience. "He should come if you call. He's not a bad cat."

Wow, could she possibly pack any more than this? Sure, there was the featherweight charm, but seriously. He'd brought one trunk to Hogwarts plus the clothes on his back. He was all for the whole 'always be prepared' mantra, but this was quite excessive.
Logan Mancini grunted. "Yes I can. Wanna see?" he said, slowing to a snail's pace. But two seconds later he sped back up and drew near his little sister. "But in all seriousness," he said, "you can't be saying the word Hogwarts in a Muggle place like this, you hear?" He had finished the sentence as an urgent whisper, afraid of being overheard.
But then he softened. "I just know you're going Eagle, I can feel it." He'd spent his own year at Hogwarts as a badger and rather enjoyed it. He'd gone by Pao then, short for his middle name. Lots else had changed about him besides his name, but this was no time to reminisce about the past. "But just in case you go Lion, don't anger the Snakes, alright?"
