First announcement: I finally snuck a peek at the Character Bios thread and saw there were a lot of old bios. I thought it might be easier to look through if we archived the old bios so I moved all posts with just old bios in them to a new thread, "Character Biographies: The Archives". I may have missed some or moved something that shouldn't have been moved so please don't hesitate to drop me a PM with the link to the post and I'll move it wherever it needs to go.

Hi there!

The time has come to nominate your fellow students for yearbook superlatives.

We are currently voting for term 22 superlatives. (The RP is currently in the break between Term 22 and Term 23) This means, that when you vote you need to take into account what the character you are nominating was doing LAST term. This might mean their year and age last term, and certainly applies to graduated characters.

So a reminder, this is the MERPEOPLE term peeps.

The categories for Term 22 are:

1) Mr and Mrs Hogwarts
(Vote for one male student and one female student who best represent the spirit of Hogwarts and are involved in the RP))

2) cutest couple
(Vote for a couple in a romantic relationship)

3) most likely to play professional quidditch
(You may either vote for just one student, or one boy and one girl)

4) Most likely to hug Kazimeriz and get away with it.
(Vote for one student)

5) most likely to invent or discover something
(You may either vote for just one student or one boy and one girl)

6) 7th year legacy
(You may either vote for just one student or one boy and one girl, the student MUST have been in 7th year for term 22)

7) Most likely to become Minister for Magic / Department Head in the Ministry.
(You may either vote for just one student or one boy and one girl)

8) most promising firstie
(You may either vote for just one student or one boy and one girl, the student MUST have been in their first year for term 22)

9) Aparecium Star
(Vote for one male and one female students (and professors if you must) who's own personal drama was splashed over the gossip parchment)

10) most likely to break out of Azkaban (biggest troublemaker)
(You may either vote for just one student or one boy and one girl, this includes students who were given detention AND students who were given other punishments such as large point losses or RP missions)

11) Biggest Catch! (Who contributed most in the mermish skirmish? Who saved the day? Vote for one boy and one girl)

You don't have to vote in all categories! If you like, do say why you chose a particular student, it might help us when we are finalising the votes!

Can someone graphic-y make me a plaque dedicating the observatory to Professor Edward Forrester? I leave the wording and graphic-ing up to you. I'm just looking for something tasteful and to the point.

In order to make it easier on Quidditch captains (so they can PM their entire starting team at once) I've increased the number of members people who are sorted can send a PM to at one time from 5 to 7.

Throughout the term, your resident prefects will be organizing some Study Sessions to help answer any questions you might have about homework or whatever... As luck would have it, the first session is about to start soon!

To reiterate:

What: A Study Session
Who: All students
When: Starting Saturday October 10th, 9:30 PM (GMT-5) ... And depending on interest, will run through til about Tuesday or Wednesday.
Where: The study area of the library
Led by: Your Head Boy and Girl

What's in for you? Possibly gold stars or demerits

Once again, we ask that you think back, (think HARD people! ) on last term (term 23, this past term NOT the current one.) and make your voice heard for this round of yearbook superlatives!

The deadline for these votes is two weeks: March 31st. Please try to vary the characters you vote for, let's give everyone a fair shot to be included!
