She hadn’t realized she was holding her breath until after she heard Atlas begin to speak. She didn’t know what to expect especially after Evan had spoken to her about the whole mess she had caused to their friendship. So she was glad when he spoke about his summer even if it was not as descriptive as it once were. Talking was better than silence. She held her wrist and nodded, listening to him. “Ah good,” was all she got barely out quietly in a whisper before the Professor began explaining how they could best assist.
Don’t use magic to carry them, don’t remove the muslin. Lisa’s curiosity was sorely piqued. What sort of plant laid underneath the cover? She eyed the bandaged hand and wondered if said plant caused it. She flicked through her mind, trying to remember her textbook and the types of plants that could have caused such an injury.
Atlas’ comment made her turn her gaze. She spoke before she thought about it. “I can help you!” she spoke before grabbing a hair tie to put her hair up in a bun. “If that’s okay with you…”

Nora still wasn't convinced that the professor didn't need any help with writing, but she nodded anyway. She'd been hoping he'd say yes. Writing was something she was way more comfortable doing than performing magic or handling actual plants. The fact remained that this was still volunteer work, and maybe she could just slip on out without anybody noticing. She decided against it, though. There really wasn't a graceful way to do that without looking really, really bad.
She blinked and flinched just a little as the professor raised his bandaged arm. What would help her the most was him revealing which one of these plants did that to him, so she could steer far away from those. She hung on to the remainder of the directions before deciding that the best course of action would be to tag along behind one of the older students. Until she figured out which one that would be, though, she found herself drifting toward the general direction of the plants. There was always Atlas, whose smile she returned, but he had already wandered off with someone else.
Seeing as she didn't consider herself great at magic at all (and that was being polite about things), Nora was happy to hear the professor stressing that they should not use magic. She didn't even know any basic Herbology spells anyway. She stopped in front of a random plant and tried to recall all the warnings the professor had given them--be gentle, no shouting, no singing, no removing the muslin covers, etc., etc., etc. What kind of plant was this anyway?

“Quite welcome, Tapio,’’ Dhruv replied warmly, the strong urge to pull their shades over their eyes poking at him. They couldn’t help it if they’re addicted to the object. “I can certainly do that, and keep an eye out for any rule breakers.” Dhruv flashed his colleague a quick thumbs up, catching onto the hint that they too should be wary of upsetting the plants. They wouldn’t dream of it.
After giving the students a moment to choose their task, they surveyed the ones gathered at the plants. So far, everyone was following Tapio’s instructions. This was good; it would be quite a shame for Tapio to have to dish out detention today. “Need some assistance there, Ms. Collins?” They were lifting the muslin cloth to take a peek of what was under the plant beside the one Nora was standing before. Was there a possibility they could identify it?
Phoenix wouldn't mind getting in a few bonus points with Professor DeVries as Herbology wasn't his strongest class, so he thought it might not be a bad idea to help out when he saw the notice. But once he got there, he saw that there were plenty of students and maybe his assistance wasn't all that necessary.
He stopped over by Maria and Vera, pausing to listen to the instructions given by the professor. "Do you want to work together?" he asked the girls, once he heard what needed to be done. "Probably easiest to do some of the levitating," he suggested, glancing at the earmuffs. "Do you think there are mandrakes under the coverings?" At least that was where his mind went when earmuffs and greenhouses were combined.[/COLOR]

And yet she still couldn't help stare longingly at the secretive and yet maybe-not-so-secretive plants. "I can't think of anything else that would make sense other than mandrake. But... my herbology knowledge is probably pretty small so that might not mean much." Except that she just didn't know of any other plants.
Hearing her name from her other side, Ve turned round to give Milo her attention - remembering all over again that she'd meant to be trying his stretch, if that was what it was. Trying again now seemed glib, so she resisted the urge and instead focused on his words - eyes lighting up with delight at this information regarding her name that she had not known before. "Ooooh I didn't know that! I feel like that means I should be the Grim Reaper for Halloween this year, right?" It sounded like a real question, but it was very rhetorical. She would absolutely be doing that. "Well..." Another longing look back towards the covered plants, before the decision to avoid temptation was made and she answered almost mournfully. "My spellwork could probably use help. I'm going to work on moving supplies with Phoenix and Maria." Well, assuming the Hufflepuff did want to work on that as well. "Would you like to join us as well?"
Oops! Maria's gentle poke in Vera's arm caused the other girl to loose her balance, thankfully though her friend only teetered from one foot to the other so no rescue needed. Thank Merlin, but Maria would have reached to steady Ve if it had been needed. Before she could open her mouth Prof DeVries explained to all of them why there were there and what he needed assistance and Ve's comment got a smile out of Maria "Of course Vera! Prof's always want help with stuff, and we get free spell practice and in this case also free plant practice." Could they get house points too?
Maria had no chance to ask about house points before Pheonix came over asking if they could work together, the three of them (Vera, Pheonix and Maria) levitating the tool supplies and fertilizer. The intriguing plants was what Maria wanted to work with, but she wanted company so she said "Sure Pheonix we can do that together. Levitating stuff will be fun!" Turning to Vera as she suggested that there were mandrakes under the muslin covers Maria agreed "I bet you are on to something there Ve. If it's not mandrakes then why else would we need earmuffs, and be careful not to be loud?"
Pulling her wand out from her wand holster she looked from Pheonix to Vera asking "Shall we start with levitating the fertilizer bags then partners?" It was then that Milo sidled up to them, and stole Vera's attention, waiting to hear if they were going to become a foursome or not Maria turned to Pheonix and asked "Do you think we need to put on earmuffs and protective gloves even though we are just moving supplies?"

Keighley's warm friendly smile never faltered once. Helping others was something she always did, asked or if she volunteered on her own didn't matter. Knowing that others could count on her made her feel happy. A nod of her head to show she had acknowledged what Professor DeVries had said to her was given. As was another nod directed towards Professor Khanna.
The talk about Kappa's had caught her attention but she kept quiet about it. It wasn't her conversation and there were other things to focus on right now. Like what all needed to be done today. Which was where all her focus went as soon as DeVries began explaining things.
Okay, so she could either use magic to help move supplies into the greenhouse or use no magic and help carry plants into a different temporary greenhouse. Using magic was easier and she knew she could quickly get a lot done buuuuut.. something in her told her to work on carefully transporting the plants to where they needed to go. The choice was easy then, pulling her gloves from her pocket she slipped them onto her hands. Selecting a pair of earmuffs she secured them over her ears firmly, not entirely sure why but if they were there they were meant to be used, yes?
Without wasting anymore time, the Badger walked over to the plants and carefully lifted on up into her arms. This was easy enough, all she needed to do now was get it to the temporary greenhouse without any issues.

Even though she knew she wasn't the only Miss Rasting at Hogwarts, Yukie sometimes couldn't help herself but look up whenever her surname was called, even when she knew it wasn't addressed at her. Oh, and that Kappa attack story? Yikes, Professor. They'd learned all about those before in DADA class, as well as in Himitsumahou. Lots of those in Japan. Best to avoid.
Yukie listened as Professor DeVries gave out instructions. The main takeaways to her were 'greenhouse one, yes magic; temporary greenhouse, no magic'. She didn't quite know where to start yet, so she was grateful for Luca's side nudge. "Sure. Wands or no wands?" She could do both. That's where the gloves came in handy!
”Maybe magic? Might as well practice.” He slipped his wand from its holster and then offered her his arm. ”This way, Miss Rasting.” He motioned with his head and started towards the supplies.
”Maybe we start with the bags of fertilizer? Sort of gross, but heavy and good levitation practice.” Yukie knew he wasn’t exactly an idea man, at least not outwardly, so any objections she had to this plan were totally fine.
... Maria turned to Pheonix and asked "Do you think we need to put on earmuffs and protective gloves even though we are just moving supplies?"
Tapio nodded back at Dhruv as he spoke, but kept his eyes on the students as they began to set to work. Good, good, they all seemed to be heeding his instructions.
Then, overhearing several students talking about the earmuffs, he raised his voice so they could hear and said, "And don't worry about the earmuffs--they're for a class we're having later. You should need them today--as long as you follow my instructions." Which, as Tapio knew from teaching and parenting, did not always happen. But, nothing lethal would happen even if they didn't, or he wouldn't be using students to help with this. It would just be blasted inconvenient.

Their interaction could have been a whole lot worse and that was not lost on Atlas. He still was uncertain, wary, as to what this interaction actually meant. Was this a genuine attempt at being friendly or yet another example on the list of times being friendly with him was convenient to her? Whichever the case was, the seventh year was able to set it aside for the sake of the tasks ahead. He owed Aunt June that much.
"It's fine with me," he nodded while his hands slipped into his pockets to fidget with his set of metal matchsticks a bit. His words had been an open invitation of sorts to the small group (himself, Lisa, and the two first years) that had collected to do with as they wanted. Which he supposed technically he could not fault Nora for possibly accepting nonverbally since she was heading off in the same direction as he and Lisa were about to. Whatever. If she wanted to bounce off on her own that was her own prerogative. He had only offered genuine advice from his own Herbology experience to answer her and her friend's question with not so much as a thank you or at LEAST some follow up questions so he could fluff and embellish his expertise a bit.
Whatever. It was fine.
"Come on," he nodded his head towards one of the larger pots. "Between the two of us we ought to be able to carry that." Atlas was not even going to pretend that he had a lot of upper arm strength. Sure, he was receiving some training from Unchiul Andrei so he had some to offer (enough that he could give a decent piggyback to anyone smaller than him) but he was unlikely to be able to carry that one all by his lonesome in one go. And pausing for breaks on your first trip was embarrassing.

Apparently it had not worked. Or rather there may have been nothing with which to work upon considering the words of the professor. She quietly appreciated Yumeki's speculation regardless. "It is a type of hosomaki, meaning a thin sushi roll, consisting of sliced cucumber rolled in vinegared rice and rolled up in an edible dried seaweed sheet called nori," she explained to Professor Khanna. The correlation between cucumber and kappa, providing the name for this particular sushi, surely required no elaboration. She could not be certain as to whether or not Professor DeVries words were true or not, but as an older gentleman with much more life experience than her own she supposed she ought to accept his word for it. She did not share Milo's distrust of Hufflepuff's on the default considering her dad was one, though there may still be something there and yet to be seen. There were, of course, entirely too many unknown factors left to know for certain and a resulting injury against a more aggressive and ravenous kappa was not an equivalent altercation between herself, Mercer, and the adolescent twin kappa that Uncle Ryu had discovered them with. "If you say so, professor," she nodded to the Herbology professor.
Hands clasped on front of her, her eyes fell ever so briefly on something that had her stomach churning and chest tightening but swiftly turned her attention back to Yumeki to prevent the sensations from lingering for too long. "You are?" her eyes widened confused delight but also mild concern. "Will you haunt me when it happens?" She hoped he would. Mercer had promised her that he would and it was a comforting thought to carry. She was content with assisting with the plants, curious as to what was beneath the cloths and possibly too sensitive to salt (which was now the conclusion she was drawing from the professor's warning).
Hopefully there were some smaller pots because she could not carry a medium to large one on her own.

Did she need any assistance? She glanced up at Professor Khanna, who was taking a peek at the plant beside her. She guessed she really did need help, and who better to provide that help than a professor! "Uhh, probably so," she answered. She even managed a light laugh to go along with her reply. She was kind of embracing the fact that she grew up in a completely different world than the one she was in now, and she'd probably be needing assistance for quite a while.
She fumbled around for a pair of gloves, and as she was sliding them on her hands, she asked, "So the earmuffs...what exactly are they for?" She felt like that was a silly question with an obvious answer, but it was one that needed to be asked. Maybe it hadn't been so silly to ask, though, because just then Professor DeVries voice could be heard over the crowd, telling them they didn't even need the earmuffs. Well, okay then, but the question still remained---why did you need a pair in Herbology class anyway?
"Want me to carry that one?" she asked Khanna, gesturing her gloved hands toward the plant he was peeking at. Unless he was looking at whatever had nearly devoured DeVries arm, that is. Then he could carry that one!

Yukie had no objections against his ideas. In fact, she was pleased that he had offered his own ideas and she'd never ever discourage him from doing that. She very much believed in his ideas' potential. "Let's do it," she smiled, taking off the glove of her wand hand. She didn't mind the gloves, but she preferred holding her wand without one. "Do you want to go first? Can't have two bags of fertiliser flying and accidentally bumping into each other." Best to avoid the mess that could be.

Was it weird now how suddenly and out of the blue that Dhruv wanted to have mini cucumber sandwiches. Or at least some of this kappamaki. One of their most favourite ways to recharge themself is to consume foods they hadn’t tried before. “I certainly hope I can try that someday!” Enthusiasm? Yes, it was there. As was the new knowledge of why the food would be suitable to celebrate an escape from a kappa. “Thank you for enlightening me, Ms. Rasting.”
It turned out that Dhruv could not exactly identify the plant. Forgive them, their in depth {and clearly, basic} knowledge of Herbology was rusty around the edges. They did think that the one they were currently peeking at may be a baby Shrivelfig plant. Beyond that? Well, the lack of certainty wasn’t important right now. “What about you, Ms. Anders? Do you need help?” Perhaps she, him and Nora could work together.
Dhruv grinned down at Nora. “Don’t be shy. There’s nothing wrong with asking for help when you need it,’’ they told her gently. They looked down at the plant they’d been occupied with. Though they didn’t really need help, Dhruv was not about to turn a student away. Besides, the total weight of the plant and pot was somewhat hefty. “Why not? I’ve got this side of the pot. Want to grab the other?”

Now that the awkwardness of asking the professor for help was done and out of the way, Nora was a little more relaxed. Besides, if she helped Khanna, she was less likely to fail at this, and that was the first goal she had in mind. "It's not that I'm shy. I'm just still getting used to magic," she replied. Most of these kids had grown up at least seeing their parents use magic around the house. Nora had grown up watching people on television pull rabbits out of hats.
Regardless, she flashed a polite smile before nodding her head and wrapping her gloved hands around the other side of the plant. She was kind of second guessing whether or not the professor really needed the help. That was beside the question, though. She needed the help. "Ready when you are." Then she picked up her side of the pot and started leading them toward the greenhouse tent.

”Yeah, no, I’d like to avoid a fertilizer crash at all costs,” He said with a wrinkle of his nose. Going first, though.. It wasn’t like he was awful at spells. He’d actually gotten pretty good, but Yukie was watching and that always made concentrating a little harder on account of the whole pretty thing happening beside him. He offered her a smile he hoped gave off more confidence than he was feeling and then turned his attention to a large bag of fertilizer in need of moving.
”Wingardium Leviosa.” Oh, thank Merlin. It was up and off just like he hoped (probably because he’d learned the spell ages ago more so than because he was able to overcome his distraction, but you know, small victories). Slowly he moved it towards the greenhouse, hoping Yukie would follow suit. They could make quick work of it and then maybe do something fun.
Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right.
What was with that look from Mitsuki what had he...oh...OH! Her words twice confirmed his suspicions. He smiled at her Awkwardly "No, no not to that extent." he shook his head. "Just a figure of speech Mitsuki-chan."
As far as haunting her. He thought about it a moment. "Yes." He nodded. "Though I would need to check on Uncle Akira first before I begin the haunt." But would checking on his Uncle prevent him from haunting Mitsuki? You know passing on to the other side being unable to return. What if Uncle Akira was haunting him? If that were the case then he wouldn't need to pass on and haunting Mitsuki wouldn't be an issue at all. In fact she'd then have two ghosts for the price of one.
"Yosh! Here, we can carry one of the medium ones together first." It would be a good gauge on her strength. he moved over toward one of the ones they were nearest to. If she didn't have any trouble carrying a medium sized one with him she could do a few on her own too. Though she might probably be best in just taking some of the smaller pots.

Setting a nice comfortable pace for herself, Keigh walked over to the temporary greenhouse carrying the potted plant, without any difficulties. All was well as she stepped inside and found an empty spot to carefully set down the plant she had been carrying. Safe and sound. There wasn't anything to worry about, this was super easy.
Casting a quick look around to see if the area gave any real clues on what plants these were, the teen took note of nothing out of the ordinary. There didn't seem to be anything at all that indicated for sure what these all were and why they couldn't use magic to move them from one place to the other. Shrugging her shoulders and with a soft "Hm, interesting", spoken to herself, she turned and headed back outside to collect another plant.
As she reached for another plant, Keigh heard someone asking if she needed any help. It was Professor Khanna. She didn't. However it was nice that he had asked her and it wouldn't hurt anything to work together in a small group, the younger girl Nora, was it?.. was already working with him. "I'm actually doing alright but I honestly wouldn't mind having some company." She smiled warmly and walked over to join them both.

Teamwork makes the dream work, right? Or something like that. So Phoenix was pleased enough that his friends, Vera and Maria, agreed to work with him. Not that he minded doing what now seemed to amount to be menial labor by himself, but he was sure it would be more fun this way. "Cool," he said casually when they agreed. "Plus it will give us spell practice." See? Fun and practical, which was win-win in Phoenix's book.
Vera agreed with his thought about maybe there were mandrakes under the coverings and Phoenix nodded. And apparently Maria thought so too. "There are other plants that earmuffs are recommended," he clarified, thinking about screeching saps and a few other loud plants. "But I can't think of any where they are required." So he figured mandrakes was possible and somehow seemed the most likely.
Wait.. partners? Phoenix was slightly confused by what Maria meant, especially considering there were three of them, but as both girls turned their attention to Milo with Vera asking them if he wanted to join them, that might make more sense. Not that they really needed to pair up for this, but he wouldn't be opposed to is housemate joining their group.
And he was just about to answer Maria's question that no he did not think they would need the earmuffs to do the work asked of them, otherwise the professor would have told them to put them on... but Professor DeVries beat him to the answer so he simply shrugged. "Well, let's get started, I guess. The quicker we start, the quicker we finish." Then maybe they could have the rest of the afternoon free for some actual fun.
"Wingardium Leviosa!" Phoenix pointed his wand at a bag of fertilizer to levitate it towards the greenhouse.

No one seemed to acknowledge Wiley's offer of assistance in pairing up, but that was okay. Did it hurt his feelings? Maybe just a little, especially when he did see people needing help and asking others for it, but he was fine! He wouldn't even frown about it because it wasn't even a big deal. Wiley reached for one of the smaller plants, figuring the larger ones would be better for two people and lifted it to carry it towards the greenhouse. No shouting or singing... but he thought plants liked to be sung to? Hmm. He tried to be quiet, just to be on the safe side, but he was also so curious about these plants and the coverings made it even more tempting! "It's so hard not to peek!" he said to no one in particular, just aloud in a hushed voice, making an extra effort to not disturb the plant.

There was none! Being at ease with students of all ages was what he was used to, so Nora didn’t be awkward, afraid or anything of the sort. “That’s understandable. Rather sensible too. I imagine a bit more practice with incantations and wand movements and we’ll see you being confident in no time.” Just a few words of encouragement there.
“Away we go then,’’ Dhruv remarked with the air of someone who lived in greenhouses and moving potted plants around manually was something they did on a regular. The professor lifted their end almost at the same time as Nora did then stepped off in the direction Tapio had gone earlier. They made sure to match the Gryffindor’s steps, just so they didn’t throw her off balance which might in turn cause her to hurt herself.
“Pick a plant and we’ll take it away together when I get back,’’ they called quietly to Keighley as they retreated. Personally, they didn’t mind the company either. The more students, the happier Dhruv would be. “It certainly is!” This was directed to Wiley. They even threw in a wink because Tapio hadn’t said that they couldn’t peek; just not to remove the cloth. Peeking didn’t involve removing the cloth for the majority of the way. But that was just the way Dhruv’s Slytherin brain had worked to calculate things.

She smiled back at him too, because even if there was some confidence in his smile, she knew assurance meant a lot to him and she was going to give him that. A whole conversation in the silence of gestures.
"Rooting for you, Master Chef," she said as she took a step back to give him space to move his wand hand. Yukie held onto her wand too in the spirit of constant vigilance, and quietly followed Luca into Greenhouse One. She momentarily looked away from his levitating bag of fertiliser to find the label for their supplies. "Over there." Yukie pointed at where the other fertiliser bags were.

As far as haunting her. He thought about it a moment. "Yes." He nodded. "Though I would need to check on Uncle Akira first before I begin the haunt." But would checking on his Uncle prevent him from haunting Mitsuki? You know passing on to the other side being unable to return. What if Uncle Akira was haunting him? If that were the case then he wouldn't need to pass on and haunting Mitsuki wouldn't be an issue at all. In fact she'd then have two ghosts for the price of one.
"Yosh! Here, we can carry one of the medium ones together first." It would be a good gauge on her strength. he moved over toward one of the ones they were nearest to. If she didn't have any trouble carrying a medium sized one with him she could do a few on her own too. Though she might probably be best in just taking some of the smaller pots.
This was something that often confused Mitsuki, as most flowery language did and why poetry in all its forms were entirely lost on her. Why would one not say what they meant and mean what they say? It was quite a bold claim to declare yourself 'dying' over something. Did ghosts take offense to such language? Perhaps this was something she ought to discuss during her next unscheduled tea time with Helena Ravenclaw. It was of no fault to Yumeki that she thought these things. It was more a curiosity of language. Perplexing. "Oh," she nodded slowly as a small tingle of relief slipped in that he was not, in fact, on the brink of the lights leaving his eyes.
His assurance that he would haunt her eased her confusion further and, knowing how much his uncle meant to him, offered a small glimpse of physical affection in resting her palm firmly against the side of his arm. It felt like a moment that required silence, so she did just that and willed the sentiments to linger in the air for as long as they willed to since there were tasks to be completed.
Hands back to being clasped in front of herself, she made a slow skip towards the other side of the pot and offered Yumeki a firm nod of confirmation. Her frame neither particularly tall nor wide, the fourth year stretched her arms to either side and spread her legs apart to allow herself to sit into a deep squat. Then, as if hugging the pot, she slid into lifting position and eyed the flap of burlap right in front of her. A small gap was present between the rim of the pot and the burlap and she squinted to try and see if she could make anything out within. Mitsuki was very good at following instructions once she heard them, so she would not be trying too hard to peek or otherwise disturb the cloth...but she was curious.
She instead peeked over the top and to Yumeki for further instructions.

It had been a genuine attempt at being friendly. She offered a small smile when he agreed to working together. “Great,” she nodded and quickly put her hair up into a loose bun so it was out of the way when they began to do the physical work. Having her hair down would just prove to be a nuisance and this was much more practical.
She followed him to one of the pots and nodded. Yes… She was very glad they would be carrying this together. She was fairly certain she wouldn’t even be able to walk fifty feet without needing to rest if it were just her. Plopping her bag on the ground, she bent down to retrieve a pair of gloves and noticed that she had an extra. “Do you want a pair of gloves? I have an extra,” she offered as she finished slipping her own gloves on before holding the extra pair out to him.
She turned to look at the pot in front of them. “Whats the easiest way to get it up off of the ground? Just do a 1,2,3?” she spoke aloud before tilting her head to see if there was an easier angle.

As she was toting the first of the plants toward the tent, Nora happened to pass by Atlas. She realized that she'd temporarily forgotten what she'd heard him say about the earmuffs, and now her curiosity had gotten the best of her again. "So about those earmuffs," she began. "Are there really plants that can scream and kill you?" Not that she was doubting he expertise. It's just that the whole idea pretty much shocked her and scared her. "There aren't any mandrakes around here...are there?" Maybe she should go back for some earmuffs just in case...
In no time, she and Khanna had succeeded in moving the plant from one place to the other. "Thanks...for the confidence booster," she said with a laugh. "I think I've got it from here." They probably both knew that she didn't really need help moving the plant, but seeing as she was from the muggle world and had no idea what to expect from magical plants, it was nice to have someone help her that first time. She left Khanna to finish working with Keighley, since she was meant to be working with the professor, too.

He’d only disappoint if they did. ”You’re the best hype woman around, Yukie.” Theresa wouldn’t be happy to hear that, but it was true. No one hyped Luca Benetti up like Miss Rasting.
The fourth year carefully navigated the bag of fertilizer into its designated area and set it down, relieved he’d avoided any mishaps. It was her turn now and he moved out of Yukie’s way, tugging off his gloves and flexing his fingers a bit. ”You’ve got this, Yuk.”

Honestly? Honestly. He could never disappoint. Yukie quite liked him the way he was. His cooking abilities will get there! She knew it. Patience was key. "That's high praise," she said, letting out a chuckle. "But I try." Everyone needed a little push at times!
Once he'd settled his bag of fertiliser, Yukie gently clapped her hands together. Not much sound came, with one of her hands still gloved, but it was the thought and gesture that counts! "Well done!" Next thing she knew, Luca Benetti might be a Master Charmer! Aside from his excellent levitating charm right there, he was quite charming himself so it shouldn't be a surprise. Ahem, anyway! It was her turn now.
"I do. I've got this," she said with a smile. Yukie made her way back to where they started, while tucking away her extra glove into her pockets. She picked one of the bags on top of the pile and focused on it. "Wingardium Leviosa." With a swish and flick of her wand, the bag of fertiliser began to levitate and Yukie too carefully backed away, making her way to Greenhouse One again. As she'd been practicing charms more than she should, mostly on hair, the littlest Rasting felt a bit more at ease with her charmswork. "What do you have planned after all this?" She asked, assuming Luca was close by, her eyes still on her fertiliser bag as it defied gravity.

Tapio had been monitoring the progress in both Greenhouse One and the small temporary greenhouse tent he'd put the new plants in and was very pleased at how everything was going. The students were doing great, putting things in their proper places and, so far, not initiating any issues with the new plants.
"Thank you all so much for your efforts, things are going splendidly," he announced once he was outside again. "Please keep on with what you're doing, and when you're finished, there are a few snacks outside on this table in front of Greenhouse One. Please help yourselves." And sure enough, a long table containing sandwiches, cookies, an urn of hot tea, and a pitcher of pumpkin juice had seemingly just appeared by the greenhouse door, just as Tapio had arranged with the House Elves earlier. He rather regretted not being able to make any special Dutch sandwiches or cookies, but with his arm still bothering him, he hadn't felt up to much cooking.
"Oh, and three points to everyone who came out to help!" he added as an afterthought. He remembered how much some students cared about earning those points.

Dhruv shot Nora a beam. “Anytime you’re feeling down about spellwork, you come find me. We’ll have a proper chat about all that’s bothering you over tea and scones.” That offer was extended to any students. Even his colleagues if they were down about life in general. They nodded, trusting that Nora indeed could manage with the other plants. That left them free for a bit to grab a few pots on their own; this was what was done exactly and they easily transported them gradually over to the designated spot. Dhruv took all the time and care with each pot.
Then Tapio announced snacks. Dhruv was immediately reminded that they were feeling slightly peckish and could definitely go for some cold pumpkin juice. In a minute they would. As for house points, Dhruv missed earning those. It was just too bad there wasn’t something as fun and competitive for professors around here.
