as much as i hate to admit it, i think harry's going to die. he sort of has to.. it's the end of a saga.. i think he's going to die saving someone's life.. probably acting like the hero again, except, he actually will be the hero.

if she does...many people won't buy the book... she can't write any sequels to it... the merchandise may be affected...
let's all hope voldemort dies instead cuz no one cares much about old voldie... we all hate him... eh...

i think and i hope that harry will defeat voldemort and live on. it makes sense because the book is all about him. and the point of this book is not to show that people die (or whatever,) it is to show that good conquers evil. and if voldemort defeated harry, that would just ruin the whole effect of the series. it would completely spoil ahrry's heroism. plus, he must have quite a vengeance for voldemort after what he's done to his parents.

Harry is the Wizarding Worlds only hope if he dies that so will the whole world. JK wont leave the book like that!

I think Harry's going to die. It's sad, but what can I say, I go with allofherwood definetly. He will die as a hero by saving someone, even if we all dread it. It's book 7, supposebly the last one, and no more. Anyways, I still dread that happening, even if I truly believe it. I hope Harry will kick some Voldemort butt and stay alive...I hope.

I think that Harry has a good chance of dying, but its sure that he will get at least a small injury. I dont think that Rowling would make the enimie win. That usually doesnt happen in books. Those who have read OotP would know the reason y Voldemort would have to b the one to die, instead of Harry if Rowling write the book traditionaly. :sorcerer:

:sorcerer: I kinda think it will be both because of what happend in the fourth book remember their wands went into the circle of all the people Voldie had killed and in the seventh book Harry will be ALOT more powerful and I kinda think that they will both die off because they are almost 1 if you understand what I'm saying. I honestly think Voldemort will die.. even the possibility of Harry dying has quite a few people upset.. I doubt she will kill him off in the end..

i hope harry dies. sorry. i love the books.. but i think it would be very out of the ordinary if the hero dies... but i dont think that she would let the message "evil prevails over good" prevail. she is just wouldnt send that definite message out... i mean (the main death in book 5) was one thing... but i dont think she will let the main chacrter die.
my hopes more than anythign want harry to sacrifice himself for voldemort(liek so he dosent die out right losing to voldemort, it would be really heoric)... but he die too.. even tho that prophecy says one thing... hey maybe the future will conflict wiht the prophecy. who knows.

JK first of all doesn't want to make the ending too obivous by 'good winning over evil'.

She probably wants to add a twist to the ending. Instead of voldemort dying or harry dying.

In most series; either someone really close to the charachter dies, they die themselves or they trimpth leaving room for a sequel.

However if she does kill-off harry :unsure: , she'll probably do a prequel. As to such, the tale and adventures of his parents leading up to the stage of where they die.

I dont know. If harry dies wont that mean voldemorts unstopable. so if harry dies voldy will take over the wizarding world right? I think that if jk doesn't want to right about harry potter no more then shell kill him, but if she plans after school series like him being profesional quiditch player or teacher or auror or what ever than she will let harry kill voldy.

Honestly I think that everyone wants Harry to live through till the last book, but I get the feeling that Harry might end up dying...who knows, maybe he will come back and become a ghost.

i think its really obvious that voldemort is going to die i mean why would she kill off hte main character who the book is named after and who is a major icon to millions of kids also wasnt it said that the last line of the 7th book was something about his scar if he is dead why would anyone be talking about his scar and how it was disappearing and such

I think Harry might die, I hope it's the other way around, but Voldmort just has a better advantage over Harry. We'll see what happens. :alien:

I think that one of Harry's friends will be killed by voldie, and than Harry will kill voldie.

I think both Voldie and Harry will die. Or neither.
Killing Voldemort is just too well... you know, good.
And killing Harry would kill Rowling, I think. And a lot of us. I don't think that she will kill either of them.
Maybe he will disappear again and Harry will get hurt very badly, so he won't ever be the same again...
But :whisle: who knows?
