Video: SnitchSeeker interviews cast, crew at Harry Potter Celebration red carpet gala

SnitchSeeker, as reported, interviewed the cast and crew of the Harry Potter films at the Home Entertainment Celebration red carpet event on Saturday evening to promote the DVD/BD release of Deathly Hallows: Part 2, including Rupert Grint, James and Oliver Phelps, Evanna Lynch, Domhnall Gleeson, Jessie Cave, Devon Murray, Alfie Enoch, Katie Leung, Jason Isaacs, David Bradley, Mark Williams, David Heyman, and David Barron. For anyone having trouble viewing the footage below, it can also be found on Vimeo.

Topics discussed with the cast included their favourite aspects of filming the saga, including Deathly Hallows, what they'd miss the most about working together, and their thoughts on the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park. Highlights of all the interviews can be read below; the footage is here. We also have exclusive one-on-one interviews with director David Yates on some of his Deathly Hallows: Part 2 editing and filming decisions, and Warwick Davis, which will be updated later today.

• Evanna Lynch discussed how she moved to the U.S. (L.A.) to find more working projects, and is eager to try some stage work. She noted that she did work on Jessie Cave's site PinDippy and would like to start her own sketches on YouTube, perhaps. She'll miss the family aspect of the Harry Potter series.
• Domhnall Gleeson admitted that he auditioned for Cedric Diggory and Stan Shunpike for the earlier Harry Potter films, but with the ginger hair tried again for Bill, and met up with David Yates again to try out for the role for Deathly Hallows. He admitted that he met Clemence on the first day of filming the final film together and
• James and Oliver Phelps admitted that seeing Fred's death was the most challenging in Deathly Hallows, as well as the scene where the twins are looking into the battlements - James admitted that the scene was ad-libbed as they weren't sure what to say, given the emotional aspect.
• David Bradley commented on how much he loved playing a comedic villain in Filch, whom he called 'a horrible old geezer'. He was pleased that fans found him hilarious, and not much of a boogie man but more ludicrous, which he loved playing.
• Rupert Grint admitted that he will miss the huge massive fan events, and how much he loved being back in Orlando to see everyone again. He commented on participating in Jessie Cave's PinDippy Flat White series, and stated that he will be playing a distant cousin for. He admired Jessie's site and was eager to do it. He commented on Postman Pat, which he has done some voice-work for, where he will have an X-Factor storyline, and will be singing for the film. As for Eddie the Eagle, he's really keen to take on the role, but at the moment everything is currently being sorted.
• David Heyman commented on the Harry Potter Leavesden Tour's construction, including the Great Hall, and how fans will get to see more about creative and special effects. He stated that he obviously won't be able to put in all 200 sets. He also commented on Universal Studios President Ron Meyer's comment about having more Harry Potter theme parks, of which he said discussions are in 'early days', and as for an expansion: 'we'll see.' For the definitive set of the Harry Potter films, there will be a lot more behind-the-scenes footage, with a personal view of the films, by Morgan Matthews (also attached to the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 Blu-ray set from Target).
• Jessie Cave was pleased to see the fans at the celebration this weekend, and was moved by it, and felt quite strongly.
• Jason Isaacs discussed some of their favourite parts of Deathly Hallows: Part 2 filming, including how it was raining for weeks, halting filming and letting him chat around with his costars. He also briefly commented on the Malfoys' alternate endings, including Lucius getting trampled, and hoped that all his scenes were kept in, but understood the editing process. His favourite part of the theme park was of course Dumbledore's office.
• Devon Murray and Alfie Enoch commented on how their off-screen friendship is just as tight as that of best friends Seamus and Dean on-screen. Some of their favourite memories of Deathly Hallows: Part 2 filming were in the courtyard with Voldemort, and the final days of filming. As for future projects, Devon is focusing more on his horses and competing with them, but might go back into acting after the new year; Alfie got an extra role in a British show called 'Mimic' on Channel 4 next year, which has been commissioned. They said the saddest part of the end of the series was not being able to see their fellow costars and crew on a regular basis.
• Katie Leung said the saddest and most memorable scene for her in Deathly Hallows: Part 2 was her final days because of how emotional it was; she said that with Bellatrix filming there, it inspired her to be a better actor, and felt that given the emotionally-charged state of the final battle scene, very little acting was required on set.
• David Barron said that while he hasn't been in conversations about future Harry Potter theme parks, though is very proud and pleased with the park in Orlando. He reminisced on some of his best memories from the film series, and the feeling of seeing and hearing every new aspect of the saga for the first time.
• Mark Williams said his favourite part of Deathly Hallows filming was working with his costars, despite the terrible war they were shooting. Filming Fred's death scene was horrible for them to film, and he and Julie Walters discussed how to film as they were parents in real life themselves, and admitted that neither of them enjoyed it.
