wooow crazy

Expecto-Penguin 03-01-2012 11:55 PM

Can i have this?? Please!!! I want it sooo badly...if i can afford it. Maybe if i can keep my money from my summer job :3

magikewe 03-02-2012 12:00 AM

I really want this, but my parents just bought me the DVD set so there is no way that I'll be able to get this. plus it's way to expensive

Gryffindor2009 03-02-2012 12:26 AM

350.00?! That's a LOAD of money! EEEEP.

suupitstracy 03-02-2012 12:52 AM

I want to get this just for the 13 disks of special features.

ReptileWings 03-02-2012 01:04 AM

I am harsh gonna buy this. HARSH.

wickedcml 03-02-2012 01:16 AM

It is beautiful, but that price is a little steep even for me. I guess I better start saving now.

Steelsheen 03-02-2012 02:09 AM

huh. yes $350 is VERY steep. that thing better be made of real wood and not just some thick cardboard made to appear like wood (like the "trunk" from the book's box set <_<)

but wait... WB hasnt confirmed it yet? strange that Amazon would go ahead and promote this without the green light from the studio. then again didnt WB also say that they are no longer releasing any Potter related movie merchandise?

Patronus Charm 03-02-2012 02:26 AM

Honestly, this is too much money for most people. Seriously, if i gave my daughters a choice, they would want the ipad 3 over a set of movies they already own...even the extended versions.

Warner Bros hasn't confirmed a date for the release, but the promos definitely came from them (even if they haven't 'officially' made an announcement). Amazon tends to get their hands on stuff like this before companies release them personally. Also, the definitive set was confirmed by David Heyman/Barron/Yates for a 2012 release, so this is coming out later this year.

Ginny GL 03-02-2012 04:37 AM

Me wants it! Me wants it!
:woot:

sidnandragin 03-02-2012 05:15 AM

Of course i am going to have to save my bonus money just to get this. My friend's wedding be damned!

Harry1985 03-02-2012 05:18 AM

I can't imagine this costing 350 as I have to have it. I hope it will have the uncut torture scene from Deathly Hallows Part 1, so what if that scene is R rated, a 350 dollar set isn't for kids.

seekfaster 03-02-2012 06:20 AM

Where to begin?!

Wow ... definetely want to get my hands on this! Mostly for the memorabilia - once it's confirmed, that is. I'm interested to know what kind of jewels are hidden in this! I don't just want a map of Hogwarts and concept art - boo !!! That's already shown in great depth in the 'Page to Screen' book.

What is mostly borderlining me to buy this box, is the fact that there are only extended cuts mentioned for the first 2 movies - um ... W - T - F ?! Are WB on medication?! Seriously, release the FREAKEN EXTENDED CUTS ON ALL 8 MOVIES ALREADY !!!!!

I'll be checking updated information on what will be included in this box over the next few months, along with what the movie content will be (i.e, confirmation that the Extended Cuts will be included on all 8 movies). Once all the information is out, I will make a very informed decision !

Let's hope W.B. don't make a stupid decision ...

bonnieginnyfan1 03-02-2012 11:52 AM

I want that Wizard Collection but at the price their selling it for apparently. It's way too much for me.

Her-my-oh-knee 03-02-2012 08:44 PM

Thats ridiculous. This is why I can't stand the business side of the film industry. Who the _____ is going to be able to pay that much. The only people who will buy are the ones who already have the other special editions (i.e. the ultimate editions) and therefore don't need any of the movies again. Just sell the freaking new special features that none of us have seen. That is all we want. But if they give the extended versions of all of the movies then thats a different situation. I just don't see myself paying that much for something that I already have 75% of. Screw you Warner Bros.!!!

hpluvr037 03-02-2012 10:22 PM

Wow, that's so expensive! And... :shifty: Why are the animals on the box the wrong colors?

Alex_Potter 03-02-2012 10:54 PM

This looks so magical:xd: it looks like an innocent box then WOW:lmao: Me wants but never gonna get:(x

MudInMyBlood 03-03-2012 08:14 PM

This looks lovely, but dang that's a pretty penny.

i thought my eyes screen was playing tricks on me, but they ARE the WRONG colors arent they? for $350 you'd think they'd at least get the colors right.

so this was the heralded mother set to end all mother sets right? maybe they be fishing for fan reactions (specially that price) before saying anything official. i hope they're listening now because the fans this side of the fandom arent too happy with it ;)
