Video: David Yates talks deleted Ron & Hermione Deathly Hallows: Part I scene David Yates spoke to MTV about a deleted scene shot for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I involving an intimate and tender moment between Ron and Hermione while the trio were on the run, which, thankfully, will make the DVD extras, out next year. http://www.snitchseeker.com/gallery/...calendar14.jpg Quote:

Aww,that sucks! But I guess they already had the Harry and Hermione scene...so that was enought tenderness in one movie! = ) |
I wanted to see more of the Wedding, Grimmauld Place, Rita Skeeter's Book, & the Extended Version of Hermione being tortured in Malfoy Manor. |
i want a lot of deleted scene...anyone knows when the Part 1 dvd is coming out? |
So we got an awkward Harry and Hermione dance scene over this one? Hmm. Glad we get to see it on the DVD though. Rupert and Emma have wonderful chemistry, and both of their performances in this one are phenomenal. Shannon :hello: |
That explains that one pic that was circulating a few weeks before the movie came out where it looks like Ron and Hermione are picking up rocks! They could include the dance with Harry and Hermione for lightness but delete one with Ron and Hermione ( who ACTUALLY become a couple) that has lightness? Grr. Well at least it will be on the dvd!! Can't wait to see it Quote:

First of all lets start off with how much I loved the movie. However, I am so, so, so upset I could cry at any moment, cutting a Romione scene is a big no! I totally agree with you Shining Star "They could include the dance with Harry and Hermione for lightness but delete one with Ron and Hermione"! So when David Yates says "but it ended up on the DVD" does that mean it will be in the movie on the DVD or just as a deleted scene? |
Why couldn't the get rid of the Harry and Hermione dance scene? I hated that so much. What would happen to Harry and Hermione when Ron left? We know what happened. It's in the book what happens. JK Rowling's ideas! |
That makes me quite disappointed.. But at least I can see that scene on the DVD. |
What a hypocrite! He can find time for that stupid H/Hr dance scene to supposedly "lighten the mood" but he can't put in a great R/Hr scene. I have lost all respect for the man. PS He ruined H/G in OotP, HBP and DH, as well! |
I wanna buy the DVDs as early as possible! |
yay can't wait for DVD Hermione and Ron >< |
i have to say i was annoyed that some of the scenes i wanted to have in the movie were cut out or not made into it, the wedding we didnt see it! we saw the party but that was about it, and mad eye i wanted them to do the toast or something for him i thought that was kind of cold that they didnt really do anything and i wanted them to show more of hermione with her parents. |
Why couldn't he added it on the movie? It'd definitely satisfied us instead the H/Hr dance |
But the deleted scene is from Haryy Potter I or II? Yates why you didn't include it?¬¬ |
Yates should of kept this scene in! I love Ron and Hermione's relationship! |
isnt this obvious?? yates wanted to create silent shipper war among harry potter fans.. for this moment, im forgetting that im an hp fan, and being a critic i must say that daniel has acted very "un harrily" in DH.. and more of the credit goes to yates for making him do things which are not like harry potter at all.. i dun know why he always kills the spirit of the film.. :( |
He is just dragging out the Ron/Hermione thing which is unfortuante at this juncture but what can you do? I do hope they add the deleted scene to the movie on DVD so that we can see it in its entirety along with other deleted stuff. |
awww that sounds sweet. Can't wait for the dvd |

As for the Ron and Hermione scene? I don't know, I'd have to see. However, not being a "shipper" in the least (I don't particularly care for either of the romances - I'm more of an action person), I will have to say that I've always thought that strictly from an actorly standpoint - Dan and Emma have much better on-screen chemistry than Rupert and Emma. That's why I think they left in the dance. (also face it - even if you're hooked up with someone else, if you're on the road for weeks at a time alone with one person, not knowing if you're going to live to see the next day, well - in real life, Harry and Hermione would have been comforting each other a bit more) |

... 15 minutes! Oh boy I really have to buy it! When will the DVD come out? |
Ooh, 15 minutes of deleted scenes!! That'll be fun to watch!! I am assuming that the DVD would come out some time in between the first and second part, correct? |
I'm just hoping that those 10-15 minutes actually do end up on the DVD. I'm not upset at stuff being cut out because there is more to film making than what we as fans may or may not want to see. If the scene didn't work with the tone or the pacing of the film at the point where the scene should fall then I can see why they would cut it. |
Happy :) to know that I'm not the only one who's not that interested in H/Hr dance scene. <_< Rupert might be so shy and quite, but he's a good actor and he and Emma do have a good chemistry. I think, H/Hr in the film have more romantic time than they are in the book. Is Yates a H/Hr shipper?? I know it's silly to think about it.. :upside: |
How exciting!!!! The DVD will be amazing! I just love the scenes in DH. I think Yates and his crew did a great job. Many Kudos! |
