Video: Daniel Radcliffe's goodbye speech after his last performance of How to Succeed
Daniel Radcliffe and John Larroquette ended their run on the Broadway production of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying on Sunday afternoon, and footage of the Finch actor giving their parting speeches after the curtain call for the show can be seen here. The musical brought in record numbers during the pair's final week in the production, grossing $1,910,224 for 9 performances - a record which was previous held by Elf on Broadway in 2010.
Up next for Dan is his debut as host of Saturday Night Live, set for a January 14 broadcast, and a promotional tour of his upcoming thriller, The Woman in Black, which will hit theatres worldwide next month.
Please tell me I'm not the only one that tried scrolling up when the video dropped from Dan. He's funny and articulate. He sounds like he would be fun to work with.
i was there last night! it was amazing <3. i loved his speech and he was soo adorable. he even teared up in brotherhood of man. the whole cast grouped around him like a family.
Congratulations, Dan. This is such a tremendous feat, and we're all so happy for and proud of you!
I'm really sad that I never made it to NYC to see him play Finch, but I'm sure he was amazing. His goodbye speech is delightful and so true to who he is. Love this kid!
[I'm actually going to take my first trip to NYC and Broadway next week, so I'm literally a week late, but I get to see Darren Criss, once again, take over for Dan. His opening tonight is tonight! Break a leg!]
That speech was just too awesome! Love Dan and loved the show when I saw it back in March. So sad to see him leave the show, but I'm excited to see what he has in store for us all next :3
That speech was hilarious and beautiful, I'm sure Broadway will miss him, he was so dedicated to the musical and the entire community.
Can't wait for SNL next week and The Woman in Black next month!
