| | | Rupert Grint up for an 'Oscar' The Santa Cruz Sentinel Online has posted up a mock list of nominations for the award for 'Best Supporting Actor.' Please note that these nominations aren't real and that Rupert isn't up for an Oscar. Quote:
RUPERT GRINT, "HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN": As forever fretful Ron Weasley, young Grint has to affect that horrified stare in nearly every scene and still make it fresh. Give the kid his props.

Emma, you're evil. I read the caption thingy and I called all my sisters and my Mum in the room to read it. Lolz, I feel stupid now. It would be good if it were true though....

I got excited when I first read it too so you're not alone. That's kind of way I speech marked the Oscar in the title though.

Rupert cant show his full potential in the HP films bcoz of Steve Klove's darn script!
I think Kloves took too much advantage of Rupert's great sense of comic timing. I'm sure that if the script asked for Rupert to display a wider range of emotions (anger, remorse, angst, etc.), Rupert would have delivered an awesome performance of it!

I think they're hinting toward the awful script in this mention. Basically, what the article is saying is despite having to constantly have the same emotion all the time, because of the script, Rupert still manages to make the same emotions seem fresh every time and that takes a good actor.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Ottery St. Catchpole Gryffindor Third Year | I give Rupert an Ottery, for best supporting actor in a bad script... Paris & Kellybear r luv :Read Otty 's fics:Gone With the Wind:I♥Rupert I didn't buy it for one second, you know why? The academy seldom ever nominates who it should, and when it does they hardly ever win. *still peeved about Johnny Depp not winning*

For putting up with Kloves' script, Rupert should get an award. *sends both Rupert and Johnny presents* |
