Rupert Grint & Bonnie Wright to promote Deathly Hallows: Part I in Japan
According to Japanese magazine Cinema Today, actors Rupert Grint and Bonnie Wright are scheduled to visit Japan on November 17 to promote Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1. Quote:
In regards to Japan, Rupert says, “I love Japan, the last time I went was after the third movie, but I really became fascinated by the country. It was very different from any other country and the fans were very, very enthusiastic (laughs),” he explains as being his impression of Japan. Also, “Last time [I was in Japan], the trip was very short, so this time I would like to be able to stay a little longer,” he says as he looks forward to coming to Japan. Finally, he sends a message to the fans, “Deathly Hallows is a brand new adventure like nothing you have seen in the other Harry Potter films. I hope you are all looking forward to it!”
| Reps for both actors have confirmed their appearance, however, Bonnie will not be staying on to do further media in Nagoya and Osaka as stated in the article. Additionally, the article notes that Evanna Lynch will be going as well, but Evanna’s reps have stated that the Luna Lovegood actress is not confirmed to attend at the present time, as event plans are still being finalized.
