Post RUMOR: Spielberg to hire Rupert Grint
Dreamworks Pictures is planning to make a film based on the Tintin cartoon series, and rumors are that Steven Spielberg is considering Rupert Grint to appear in the movie. Tintin is expected to be released in 2009.

Take this one with a grain of salt for now.

Tintin, huh? I've never heard of it, but I love Steven Spielberg! It should be a great movie anyway, hopefully Rupert helps on that!

In Steven Spielberg's site forums, his fans are saying it has been decided that "Tin-Tin" will be a CGI-animated film, with Leo DiCaprio as the voice of Tin-Tin. They're also saying that Tom Hanks has already signed up to voice the other main character named Captain Haddock.

But its great just knowing that a lot of Spielberg's fans at those forums reacted positively to Rupert's rumored casting. They have a poll asking fans to choose who they prefer to play Tin-Tin (Rupert, Gregory Smith, Kirsten Myburgh, Jamie Bell, etc.), which Rupert overwhelmingly won
