[img]http://www.snitchseeker.com/images/news/hp_grandpre_80.jpg' align='middle'> Quidditch fun for everyone - Summary:
This article states that Quidditch, the sport in the Harry Potter books, is fun for everyone, even non Harry Potter fans Article:
Thanks to Wizardnews Quote: Harry Potter is, in recent times, unavoidable. We have movies of the books, games of the movies and now there is a game based on a sport in the books - Quidditch. One would assume this game would be a waste of time for anyone older than 12, or anyone that is not a fan, but surprisingly enough, it is actually quite fun.
The sport is a mixture between football and rugby, and is played in the air on broomsticks. There are plenty of teams (International and Houses) to choose from, with many familiar faces from the Potter milieu and many features that can be unlocked by winning matches and challenges.
The game is easy to master, as it is obviously intended for a younger audience and you will destroy your opponents without any difficulty. There are seven different keys for different moves but, in the end, it all comes down to bashing two of them.
The gameplay seems to be more suited to a console than a PC. This is evident when playing multi-player on the same keyboard, as keys occasionally lock while frantically hitting buttons.
If you crave fun arcade-style action and are bored with typical sport games, give it a go. Potterheads will especially enjoy Quidditch World Cup. If you crave a challenge, however, give it a miss. IT Web |

:whisle: I'm the first to reply, I hope. I played that game, if it's the one I think it is, with my friend. It's fun. I like how the players do cartwheels when they make a goal. Draco Malfoy is butt ugly in that game. MMM hhhmmm..... :sorcerer:

I've got that game. I think it's a bit easy though - well, it must be easy if I've completed it.

I played it. Got everything in about two days, all my friends said it was gay and a waste of money. Were all 16 so that's probably why. It's fun for a while but it get boring after like an hour

The characters look morelike Mary Grandpre's than the ones in the films. The PoA games characters look better. I love the brutal quidditch tackles but I'd prefer it if you could actually die and beat people up with the appearance of blood and loss of limbs.

Graduated | Miss Sarah Bippity Boppity Boo! Hmmm, seems like this is not a good year for Harry Potter games. First the PoA game which got really lousy reviews by fans, and now this!

Yea, the character's appearances have improved in PoA... If the quidditch was that brutal (loss of limbs, ect ), then the game would be rated Teen (T) or Mature (M)!

Wouldn't it be cool though, if they made something for the teen fans rather than the kids for once. Plus Quidditch outside of school is supposed to be alot more brutal.

That would be cool!
I have the Quidditch game for Game Boy Advance and it's not the best. I still like it better than the first two games (haven't gotten PoA yet ) but I bet that it's a lot better on Game Cube or something like that.
PS) I'm not sure if you can play as something other than chaser and seeker in games on Playstation2, Game Cube, etc. but I can't (on GBA) and I sorta wish you could...

Maybe the'll come out with a dueling game like Mortal Combat where there's lots of blood. Ha. That would be fun.

It was okay, but I thought it should be a little bit harder. They should definitely make one for older fans!

i personally love Quidditch World Cup. it might be because i luv quidditch so much that i would probly like anythin to do with it. and if you people who want the game to be harder, all u need to do is get farther in the game like beat the World Cup (which i have many times) and they will give you more selections of brooms. the Firebolt has 4 stars meaning that its the hardest. The Comet had 1 star meaning its the easiest. and both the Nimbus's are in the middle. So if you want the game to be harder you have to get farther into it. oh and how do u make siggys on here with pictures and stuff?

It should be aimed at teens. Even JK said proper adult quidditch is a very rough sport and that should be reflected in the gameplay and the graphics.

Well, I thought it was the greatest hp computer game they ever made. I like it so much more than the others because it isn't a one time story. It's something I play over and over again! I loved all the action, and you know what? Stop dissing the game because "the graphics are wierd" To you they might be, but that doesn't mean the game is bad. I think the graphics were superb, and I loved all the different team moves. The stadiums were amazing as well! I don't know about you, but I think the French are putre snobs, :P. Each team had it's own personality. The Hogwarts was easy, but World Cup was terribley difficult at first. Now I really know how to play it, to it's a bit easier for me, but is still a fun challange. I hope they come out with more games just like this.
GO WQC!!!
