Warner Home Video have announced that the ultimate editions for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire are set to be released on October 19, 2010 in the United States.

I'm a bit peeved that it looks like these two sets will NOT included the extended versions of the movies...how is that considered an ULTIMATE edition without them?

Is this only available in the US? If so, why so? It surely can't be anything to do with copyright. HP is a gobal 'brand' and should be available worldwide.

I'm kinda jealous, but I already own them all, so there's no point in buying these. I suspect a lot of people will think that way.

I'm still hoping they're still selling CoS Ultimate Edition; that's the only one that I don't own on DVD. :(

Cool! I hope they will be available in Europe as well because I've checked out some finnish web stores but they barely have all of the HP movies. And I mean just the one disc DVD's without any kind of bonus material :(. Just going to keep my fingers crossed

Awesome! Can't wait for them! I'm really lucky because my aunt lives in the U.S. She brought me the first and the second one. So i'm really looking forward to see these ones too :)

I'm excited! Even though I own the one disc DVDs for for all of the movies, I'll probably still buy these... Eventually :) It looks pretty sweet!

Yeah, even though I own the DVDs, I still want to buy it (going to get a good scolding from the parents as well). Must start to save up the money now...at least for GOF since the Sound and Music Photo Book look interesting. :D

i agree with you...the only question is whether the upgrades are worth it....

personally, i'll be waiting for the mother-of-all-boxsets once DH2 will come out. its a long wait but for now i'm satisfied with the regular DVDs. it was well worth it when i waited for all 7 books to come out before buying the complete hardcover set of the HP novels. waiting pays off for me :D

I think I'll wait until all of these come out, so I can get a boxed set of all of the Ultimate Editions. :lol:

People need to understand that the ability to watch these NOW(or for these two when they come out) is part of the reason to buy them instead of waiting for the boxset. I'm happy to pay to watch things sooner.
