| | Official 'Goblet of Fire' production notes released
The WB press site has been updated with the production notes, end credits and main credits for the ' Goblet of Fire' film.
These notes include LOADS of new information about the movie and quotes from the cast and crew. Therefore be warned there are probably spoilers amongst them. Quote:
There is a method to Moody’s madness, though his irreverent brand of tough love often terrifies his students and draws criticism from his peers. “What appealed to me about the character,” says Gleeson thoughtfully, “is that he reminds me of some of my old teachers. He has no time for book learning. He wants to show these young men and women what they’re up against – evil exists and they better know what they’re getting themselves into. He’s a one-man initiation ceremony, a walking rite-of-passage. He doesn’t believe in treading lightly with Harry or the other students because that won’t prepare them for the real world.”
Quote:
“It’s quite hard to play someone who is is the essence of evil,” muses Ralph Fiennes. “In my discussions with Mike about the character, we talked about giving Voldemort human qualities, because to just play ‘evil’ is really impossible. ‘Evil’ is often conveyed through gnashing of teeth and a lot of spit. I wanted my portrayal of Voldemort to be deeply, truly evil. That comes from fear, frustration and unhappiness. Voldemort was a rejected child. He had a very unhappy childhood, and that’s where his anger, jealousy and hatred began to fester.”
“Mike was very keen to explore Voldemort’s unexpected mood swings, his explosive rage,” Fiennes says. “There are moments when anger spits out of him at Harry and other moments when he can be almost pleasant. You never quite know what he’s going to do.
“People are incredibly scary when they’re charming but you suspect they might suddenly do something very violent,” he continues. “If you sit across the table from someone who offers you a glass of wine and a present, but you know that he stabbed his wife to death, it’s quite unnerving.”
The end credits confirm that previously released titles; 'Do the Hippogriff', 'This is the Night' and 'Magic works' are songs written by the 'Weird Sisters' aka Jarvis Cocker & Radiohead.
The end credits also note that "NO DRAGONS WERE HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THIS MOVIE."

To be fair though, PoA had R/Hr scenes added and for GoF, they didn't need to add anything. Their one big, tension-filled scene is the Yule Ball. The only thing I'll be disappointed in is if Hermione doesn't show any jealousy towards Fleur. It was subtle in GoF, but it was there. Also we know they do spend some time together. We've seen at least two pictures of them together pre or post Yule Ball. We know the sit together for tasks 1 and 2. We also know that they spend time together while Harry and Ron fight. And we know that at some point, after the ball, Hermione tells Ron to next time just ask her.
The point is though, it's mentioned in the production notes which means it's heavily emphasized. All the H/Hr moments don't matter. They're just there and aren't suppose to have any romantic inkling because they're trying to show R/Hr. Though I must say, some of these stills, they're doing a rather poor job...

Thing is the PoA stuff was added. In GoF, from what we can see, they've only done what's in the book. IMO Alfonso (bless him) got a bit too excited about R/Hr and what happens in the future books and went a bit too far with it all. Quote:

Isn't there a photo from the Beauxbatons entrance where Hermione is looking really uncomfortable? I think it's where Ron says the 'I love it when they do that bit'. All the Gryffindor boys are :o and the girls are like :/
I think they are definitely playing the Fleur/Ron angle. We've seen that through the posters, site pages and that clip of Ron in the Gryffindor CR. So no doubt they've played Hermione's reaction to that as well. I have faith. Quote:

Well, I guess because we haven't really seen it yet. And when the first GoF screening in Chicago came out, someone who doesn't even have any shipping ties didn't seem to remember Hermione being jealous. Then again, she said she could be wrong and if it's played subtlely like it is in the books I suppose it'll be easy for people to miss it. After all, in the notes, they do mention both their feelings for each other. But you're right, they are playing up the Ron/Fleur thing, so that's at least some comfort...

I'd imagine someone actually looking for these things would remember it better. Hermione's feelings have always been more subtle than Ron's so it's probably that way onscreen too.

I don't think she shows any jealousy towards Fleur, this is according to the girl who saw the movie (by the way she is a r/hr), and also the 2 pictures that we have seen so far of Ron and Hermione together, well they were no together, the first picture that we saw where Hermione look upset, well Harry was in that scene but not in that picture, and the latest picture of Hermione and Ron well Harry is also there but he is not in the picture.
All this is according to the girl who saw the movie, and she keeps answering questions at the TLC forum.

^Yeah, I think I know who you mean. She said she could go with either R/Hr or H/Hr. She didn't know much about shipping nor did she know anything about the books, so she felt like there was nothing. But if it's subtle, people might not pick it up as easily. It's that way in the book, so I see it the same way in the movie...
