A rather noticeable new addition to the entrance of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter has been put up: a hanging black metallic sign introducing Hogsmeade village, with a silhouette of the town and a warning that states, "Please respect the spell limits." It can be seen below, courtesy of Orlando Theme Parks.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will open in Orlando, Florida to the public in spring 2010.

Ohh this is so exciting!!!! I've loved seeing bits and pieces of Harry Potter World as it's being built. I wanted so badly to be able to schedule a trip down to Florida for a visit when it opens, but my son is just way too young yet. I was last in Florida in 2007 before most of the construction began. I was 17 weeks pregnant at the time and thus was unable to go on any rides, so I boycotted the parks and spent my time on the beach instead. I told my husband he was welcome to go provided he checked all the cool rides to find out how tall you have to be to ride them. Most were 42in, so we decided after our son was born that we'd take him to Florida when he hits 42in tall and can ride the fun rides with Mama. If he keeps on his current percentile he'll hit that mark around age 5, which is perfect! That means I only have to wait 3.5 more years! Quite a few friends of mine are planning a trip, though, so they promised to take some pictures for me to tide me over.
