| | Many new 'Goblet of Fire' clips
Thirteen new clips from ' Goblet of Fire' have emerged including scenes from the tasks and the Yule Ball. ALL of the clips can be downloaded from here.
Additionally Yahoo! Movies also has a clip from the third task which can be viewed here.
As if that wasn't enough, a new ' Goblet of Fire' TV Spot has aired. It includes more from the duel with Lord Voldemort. That can be downloaded from this page.
Many thanks to The Leaky Cauldron. |

The Harry asking Cho to the ball scene is SO CUTE she actually has a really cute accent. I still don't know if I see Cho but what the heck do I know I didn't write the books and Jo Rowling obviously liked her so nuts to that she's good enough.
I love the clips I have no will power I will watch every single one until they release it. I'm so excited about the film. Ahhh I love Cedric he's so darn cute. Alas the ending will be traumatizing for me. I'm not wearing any heavy eye make up to the movie cause it'll all be down my face at the end.

I cried when i read the remember Cedric speech in the book for the first time, and then when i've re-read the book i start to cry even before the speech because having read it i know what's coming, lol. And Robert is such a beautiful guy, it's like someone said, even if you haven't read the books before, he is so good looking you know he's gonna die.

^Not only good looking, but the hero type. The really nice young man. The one who deserves to live but is shot down in his prime and only because he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. That's always so sad...

everytime is see the world cup with everything destroyed it breaks my heart and seeing the dark mark..appear its just upsetting. even though i dont think this clip was in the thirteen or its so heartwrenching..or thats just me..
I thought it was cool to see the dragons..and I loved the effect of the silence in the maze compared to the roaring crowd.

I definately think that the movies have glamourized Harry's and Hermione's relationship. Harry isn't always so perfectly nice to her in the books, in my opinion. I love the scene when she is relaying the messages because she finally shows some real emotion and gets mad a him, (and I like the fact that she didn't snap at Ron about it, he he....)
I like Ron because he doesn't take any crap, and his character is so much more real because he reacts to things the way you would in real life. I can't lie, I have been jealous of things or people in my life, whether I believed them or not. I don't think it was just Harry putting his name in the Goblet, it goes a little more deeper than that. I think Ron has had jealousy built up, and it was a perfect excuse for him to let it out and be mad so he could get it off his chest. We all know that he isn't good with relaying his feelings, so unfortunately it had to come out this way.
And about the whole scene with him asking her to the ball as a last resort. I think Ron and Hermione sort of remind me of Sandy and Danny from Grease! When they are alone he's completely flawless and sweet to her, but in the middle of class with Harry, his suave brothers and everybody else, he's going to put up a front and be macho about it. Deep inside he feels horrible, but won't reveal his soft side at any cost. It's unfortunate, but it's life, and that is why I love JK for her realism with Ron.
So the movie as far as I have seen, has done a wonderful job. I'm not too impressed with Hermione, but it isn't Emma Watson. The first movie I thought that her portrayl of Hermione was perfect. Somewheres along the way they allowed her to sort of alter it. Not drastically, but definately some. The rest of the cast to me has stayed in their characters beautifully.

In the movie he has to be. Movies are visual. We have to know that Dumbledore is scared for Harry and emphasize the danger aspect of the tourtament by having this incrediably calm force going mad over the thing he can't control now. I doubt it would've worked well had he been calm about it all.
RHShipper, I agree... Ron's really great portrayed the way he is. He doesn't want to be the hero, he just feels overshadowed and anyone coming from a large family will feel that way and then to have your best friend get all the attention like the rest of your family does, it's hard. Hermione explains it beautifully in the book. She understands him.
Lastly, I love the asking Cho to the ball one, but by the end I was like, "Gah!" Because it's perfectly portrayed with his nervousness to a point, but then he just sort of gets out of the nervousness and goes with it... the second thing contradicted the first. Kinda killed it. But I felt bad for Cho because you could tell she hated having to hurt Harry like that. And I still love her accent. |

Not to mention, if Dumbledore had been calm, people might suspect he put Harry's name in the goblet.
