Post JKR denies tabloid reports on final HP book

We recently told you about some tabloid articles claiming that Jo Rowling wrote 750 pages of the book seven in the HP series. Today, Jo confirmed on her website that this rumor is false.

Quote:
Oh pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease. I haven't written 750 pages of book seven, and if I had, I'd be very worried, as I'm not close to finishing it yet.

I was at the tea party for Driving Lessons, though, so this isn't pure fiction. The journalist reports that I said that Rupert is 'absolutely terrific' in the film. He is, so that bit shouldn't be in the rubbish bin at all.

Wow, Rowling has finished 750 pages, and it isn't all!! I think it will be more than 1000 pages. in my language, maybe it will be 1300 pages! The OoTP is 1200 pages in my language. imagine, how many time I have to spend to read it. But, who care? The point is we could know, how the ending. And making a new record the fastest reader HP!!! Keep writing, Joanne, we are always supporting you!

I'm sure when she's finished there will be more than 750. If this is the last book I'm sure she wants to get it all out.

I hope it's a thousand plus pages. That'd be really something.

And Rupert is absolutely terrific, duh. :]

I remember someone saying she had planned on writing around the same amount as she did for order of the phoenix.
