J.K. Rowling revealed the first teaser page of the Fantastic Beasts' sequel script on Monday, as shown below. Of particular note is that the Harry Potter author hid the screenplay's title, which will be something along the lines of 'Fantastic Beasts and...,' as confirmed by star Eddie Redmayne in November.
The sequel to the Oscar-winning Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is currently in pre-preproduction in the U.K., and includes the casting of young Albus Dumbledore, which Rowling said is presently underway.
Colleen Atwood, the four-time Oscar-winning artist who received the Academy Award for her Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Costume Design work this weekend commented about how much input J.K. Rowling had for the clothing worn by the characters and extras in the series. That interview from Sunday evening in Los Angeles can be watched here.
Quote:
Did [J.K. Rowling] have specific ideas?
Colleen Atwood: I think she has specific ideas of the world and the characters, she isn't in there micromanaging what everyone's wearing or anything like that. I think she enjoys seeing the creative process that other people bring to the table.
Atwood will return to design the costumes for the Fantastic Beasts sequel, which takes place in 1928 Paris, France.
