J.K. Rowling on Inspirational Women list

Research was recently commissioned, to celebrate the release of Changeling on DVD (which can be bought here & here), to find out who are the World's Most Inspirational Women. J.K. Rowling came fifth on the list. The poll involved 1,200 women.

The record-breaking author JK Rowling was held in high regard amongst 25-34 year olds. This was as much for her rags-to-riches story as penning the world famous Harry Potter books.

J.K. Rowling does deserves to be on the list. She really is inspirational, but ahead of Rosa Parks? I don't know about that.

Patronus Charm 04-08-2009 12:39 PM

i agree w/ most women on that list, JK included. Rosa Parks - absolutely. But Marie Curie, while inspiring, i am surprised would be #1.

Marie Curie, #1? I'm sorry but Mother Theresa will always be #1. And I would have put Thatcher higher. :D
