| | |  J.K. Rowling immortalized in Lego as the ultimate hero (UPDATED)
As a reward for topping a poll voted on by children, who had to choose their ultimate hero, a large-scale lego-set model of J.K. Rowling's face was constructed at Legoland Windsor in the UK. Photos of the model can be seen here: 
The head of Legoland said this of Jo's honour: Quote:
“Her books have been a great inspiration to children of all ages.
“We actively encourage imagination and creativity and believe in making the children the heroes – just as Rowling does in her stories.”
UPDATE: According to the The Telegraph, Dan Radcliffe came in at 8th place with 2% of the vote and David Tennant (Barty Jr) came 9th with 1% of the vote. Jo won with 37.4% of the vote. | |

I love the fact that the children selected an AUTHOR as their role model- way to go Jo!!!!!!!  Take that to those people out there who says HP is all witchcraft and stuff. It got kids READING!!!
