J.K. Rowling took to Twitter on Saturday to explain - or at least give a teaser to a couple of large Wizarding government and international policymakers.
While the United States has two parts of congress (the Senate and House of Representatives), Rowling said the Wizarding equivalent only has one. Rowling also noted that the International Confederation of Wizards - of which Albus Dumbledore was Supreme Mugwump during the
Harry Potter series - finds its Muggle equal in the United Nations.
Also, for those wondering...
Fans can rest assured that the Harry Potter and Wizarding World communities live on through the upcoming
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them series, the London (and hopefully international) stage production of
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter attractions at Universal Parks and Resorts' Orlando, Japan, and Los Angeles theme parks.
