| | |  J.K. Rowling confesses why Harry Potter didn't name any of his children after Lupin
J.K. Rowling admitted a long-queried sentiment about the naming of Harry Potter's children, and why he chose Snape's over other beloved characters, such as former professor Remus Lupin.
Rowling stated, again, that Snape was brave for the many acts he committed to save Harry from Voldemort (mostly out of loyalty to Lily Potter).
When a fan, as shown below, asked why Harry didn't opt for Lupin's name as a middle name for one of his sons (since Severus was the middle name of Harry's second child, Albus, Rowling said this.
J.K. Rowling said the name 'Remus' was one Harry would have preferred his godson Teddy to use for his future son (Lupin and Tonks' grandchild). | |

Amazing. Also, I agree that to me, Severus is one of the most brave characters in the series for me.
That's like my cousins, they used William/Bill for their sons middle names (after our Granda) but left it as a first name for me (after my Dad/Granda/running paternl line).
