| too bad for hungary
if i was a hungarian, i think i would learn english and then just buy the english version. i'd more likely finish the book before it would be realeased in 2006.
there is no way i could wait that long.

We spent time here. We made friends here. That's a part of us.
Cause Hogwarts is bigger than any of us, of any of it's founders,
and it's going to be around long after we're gone.
Maybe we'll see our kids come here one day.
That's the thing about Hogwarts.
No matter how long you're away from it, there's always a way back. |

Well I'm Hungarian, but I'm always reading the books in English.. Not that the translation is bad...but still, it's not the original one. I like to read it just as JK wrote it down.
Lol it's a shame though that it comes out only in 2006..my poor lil sister is going to keep asking me what's in the book.
BTW K-Muggle you would not believe if I told you how many ppl learnt here English by reading HP books. They sit down and start reading with huge dictionaries next to them. Curiosity, you know...

I can only get it in English anyway, but if HP came in my home language, I would definately get the English version. I agree with RemusLupin; I prefer reading it the way JK wrote it. Besides, English is too cool a language. |

So, Denmark gets it in october huh? The sweden must have it about the same time, probably norway too. Not that it matters, everyone I know here (in sweden) reads it in english, not that the translations are bad, you just can't wait several months to get HBP in a language you understand just as good as english. |

Yeah, of course. They just have to wait longer for the translation because the translators have to read it the same time as everyone else -- July 16th.

*sighs* And Poland won't probably get HBP any sooner than early 2006, either. Boy, am I glad that I can speak English . All the English bookstores here will have it on exactly June 16th, though (although I preordered my copy a loooong time ago ).

That's good to know, but I feel bad those people have to wait so long.
